I have been going to Alpha Nails Bar about once a month for a couple of years now. I am usually happy with the services there, although when I pay for a spa pedicure, my feet should be smooth! Instead, I usually am left with some rough spots on my feet. I am not the kind of person who is comfortable complaining about that, but I wish I had the courage to reach down and feel the skin on my feet while I'm still in the pedicure chair. I would look at the person and ask, "Really? Why are my feet still rough?" Instead, I say nothing. Shouldn't they be feeling their clients' feet to check for roughness? I always tip generously, even when this happens, because I feel guilty not doing so after they work on me. My husband says I shouldn't tip if my feet are rough. Last time I was there, an inconsiderate woman was having a pedicure and actually seemed to be having a loud Facetime conversation with someone on her cell phone. Myself and several other clients were glancing in her direction with disapproval, as our spa experience was not relaxing having to listen to this loud disruption. It was so inconsiderate, and I couldn't believe that not only did I not see signs posted stating that this is not allowed, but no staff member went over to her and told her to stop. Finally, I noticed a staff member go over there, and before I could celebrate, I instead saw that the staff member was handing her a charger for her phone! This was the perfect opportunity for her to stop, if her phone was dead, but instead she was stupidly handed a charger, which allowed her to continue this unacceptable behavior. If this happens again, I will be looking for a different nail salon. I went to my previous nail salon monthly for 10 years, until something happened there that I did not like the way I was treated. (I had called and made an appointment, and when I got there, they didn't have me scheduled and said they couldn't take me. I was appalled that they didn't value me more as a loyal customer, and fit me in that day. I never returned.) read more

I Absolutely Love this nail place!!! It is probably one of the nicest nail spa's you will ever go to! It's nice and big not one of those small cramped shops, no no I'm talking huge! When you first go in They have ty put your name and number and a ticket, for me it was a little bit of a busy day and there was a group!! They took me right away!! I also noticed they not only had good prices but they had an area for kids to get their nails done!!! which to me was really shows that they care! The service was good and The people are amazing!!! The quality was disappointing. I got a $50+ pedicure that was Exactly the same as the $38 basic service. It described extra treatments that didn't happen. I paid extra hoping it would be better than the last time which wasn't great. They literally put a got towel on my legs, nothing more. I came in with my family, we all came in as walk-ins but we were willing to wait. We all were rushed! Some of us had crooked nails and half of the nails were not even dry. We were all rushed, personally I got a full acrylic nail set and they were done in less than 30 minutes. Gel acrylic when done well should take longer. After noticing the bad job we decided to stop our services and we were still charged the full amount.We then went back inside to get a refund for jobs that were not done which included a pedicure and manicure and they said they wouldn't be able to give us the money back but instead they offered us to come back in to get them fixed. If things were done properly the first time there would be no need for fixing. Don't waste your money here if they're busy because they clearly don't care. read more

Randomly stopped by because i was visiting the area and it had a big parking lot. Thank goodness.. I came in to get a gel manicure which cost me $33. Not bad. There wasn't a menu displayed in the store so I didn't know till after the service. I would have thought the $33 was worth it if it wasn't for my gels coming off within two days. I was sad because i actually tipped the technician about 50%. She was very nice but sadly there were some things that made me a little disappointed. None of the tools were cleaned... so before she started using it, she saw that there were some crust on the nippers so she wiped it on the towel. In addition, my gels literally started peeling couple days after. my other hand has already started lifting too. Would I come here again? Mmm.. probably not. Nothing really stood out and different .. other than the fact that everything was fairly new. read more

I have received many pedicures from here, but yesterday was the worst by far. (Most are pretty good). I usually like to keep my toenails with a little length, so I can have a really nice square shape on them. The technician cut my nails ALL THE WAY DOWN and didn't even shape them square.. it was horrible. When I mentioned it she said that my nails were broken so she had to (untrue, but she could've asked before she did it regardless) I absolutely am unhappy with the service I received here. It's very simple to shape toenails square! And even more simple to communicate with your client! I'm sorry Alpha, but I can't go back here which stinks because I loved it when it first opened. Also, when I expressed my concern the technician said "it's okay your toenails will be grown back in two weeks" not the point, and also not her place to call it. Very displeased. read more
