Will not return! I've been to Moji three times now. The quality of my haircut, blowout and…read morehighlights was good but the stylist is very heavy on the sales pitch - always telling me - not asking - that I need balayage and full foil highlights and pushing their haircare products. I went back because the salon is close to my house and the quality is good, but the stylist even pushed their expensive hair products on our 15yo daughter who doesn't even have a job! :-(

**Worst salon experience ever**…read more I am extremely unhappy with my experience here. First, the price advertised online was not what I was charged. The website stated that a blow\-dry was complimentary, but when I showed them the website, they had to correct the information that same day and still did not honor the complimentary blow Dry even though they saw it was listed online .There were also additional charges that were not clearly listed online. Price was wayyyymore expensive More importantly, I went in specifically asking for blonde hair without brassiness I said it a million times I have been getting my hair professionally highlighted for years and know what works for my hair and always achieve a beautiful blonde when done correctly .was reassured that I would get the blonde color I normally have, even though they didn't do anything that other stylist do i absolutely did not get the result i was left with extremely orange, brassy hair that honestly looks like clown hair. This is honestly the worst my hair has ever been I paid for a full head of highlights, yet large sections of the back and entire areas were left without highlights had significant regrowth, and the left side was barely touched compared was shocked that this was considered a full head. The toner was also left on for far too long, and my hair is now more damaged than it has ever been.I had an important event this week and instead of feeling good about my hair, I am embarrassed and extremely upset about how it looks and feels Unfortunately, I also did not feel that the stylist was confident or experienced with the color I was asking for, despite reassuring me that she could achieve it. the salon owner had to keep showing her what to do . Made me Extremely uneasy and nervous The salon itself also had an unpleasant smell when I walked in and looked very rundown . Between the unexpected charges, not honoring the advertised blow\-dry, the uneven highlights, the excessive brassiness, and the damage to my hair, this was an absolutely terrible experience. I would **not recommend this salon, especially if you are looking for blonde hair.Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. Theres a lot Other better places I Promise . THis is the worst ! I would never ever go back !!

To further explain - I went in as a walk-in on a Thursday afternoon to inquire about same or next day appointment availability. There was one person working who said she could take me right away. After washing she parted my hair in the middle and cut my hair straight across. No cleaning up the ends, no smoothing or texturizing - just a straight blunt cut across. I was in the chair for one minute. She then asked if there was anything else she could help with? It was really odd. I did opt to have my hair blow dried. When I went to check out, I was charged 3x what the prices posted on the wall were. I questioned it, and she confirmed it was correct. My hair frizzed up within 5 minutes of leaving the salon, so I don't think it was dried completely. The way my hair was cut was literally what I did to trim my split ends myself during the start of the Covid pandemic when salons were not open. This was not a professional cut. Meanwhile, I have shared this story with with friends, including a couple who work in the industry, who were all appalled at what I paid. I tried calling and following up to express my concern a few weeks later and my call was never returned. I think this place was empty for a reason. There seem to be positive reviews from a couple years ago. Something has definitely changed based on my experience.

I…read moreencourage deep reflection without a defensive response if the owner and stylist want to provide a response as to why there was a lack of an apology to ripping out my earring and making me bleed So I gave this salon TWO tries and assumed the first time was just a bad experience and both times I had the same hair stylist. The first time, this woman was NOT ATTENTIVE AT ALL. As she was working with my layers and bangs/combing through them she yanked hard and pulled out my helix piercing CLEAN THROUGH AND I WAS BLEEDING. It was more of the fact that she told me "you should've told me you had earrings" which was just her trying to make me accountable for her not paying attention. There was a moment of silence and absolutely NO APOLOGY was given to me. The two workers in the salon were just silent and rummaging through what to do because she gave me back my earring with my blood on it and for those who have cartilage piercings, they are expensive and take a long time to heal. She ripped it through my DAMN EAR that's how hard she combed through it. I am young and have social anxiety so I was trying so hard to be understanding in the moment but she finished up and the lady at the front desk gave me a tiny bag to put my earring in. But there was ultimately no apology...just the hair stylist saying she's usually so attentive with her customer's earrings (which counters when she said it should've been my responsibility to tell HER that I had them..well if she was so attentive she should've seen them)... When I paid I think I should've gotten a discount because...I left the salon bleeding...AND THEN THE FRONT DESK LADY had the audacity to ask FOR A TIP...I did my best to see past it and knew the haircut was decent so I still left one. Yet I left with no apology and the hair stylist not offering to pay for the earring to be put back in when she knew I was gonna go to a piercing salon nearby to see what the damage was. It was just so frustrating trying to be calm when no one wanted to take accountability. The second time I came in, I wanted to give it a second chance because it was just a trim to me but when I was assigned the same stylist, I began having an anxiety attack and I was unsure if she remembered me but this time I pointed out that I had earrings and braced myself. This time my ears were safe but because I asked for face framing layers....THIS BOTCHED MY BANGS DISGUSTINGLY. She took out such a huge chunk and the bangs didn't even frame my face. It was just 2 BLOCKS NEXT TO MY FACE. Just two blocks sitting next to my face that when I finished I immediately contacted another hair salon to take me in and to fix it. The new stylist was so kind to me and he was much more attentive and straight up said "these are not face framing..I'll fix it for you because the past stylist took out so much. I'm gonna trim a new section so you can have face framing bangs but I will leave the longer pieces she cut out so they can grow and begin blending with the back" From the photos, you can see MY BLOOD on my fingers with the front desk sign in the background, the second photo is the very stylist holding up my hair while I tried to see the damage, and in the third photo was the second time I went and had my bangs ruined. To the dear stylist: If you were so attentive to earrings why did you flip it around and victim blame me by saying I should've told you? I think overall it speaks volumes that you guys had my review deleted and want to avoid it still. Guess things never change

Apparently when someone doesn't cover your grays (whites in my case) correctly and you ask them to fix it and this happens twice in a row after each coloring, you are the problem not the person coloring your hair. The owner literally just told me on the phone in a rude manner 'we will fix it this time but next time you need your hair colored you should go somewhere else because this keeps happening with you' !!! He went on and on about how the previous time it happened it looked fine to him (there were visible whites in the front)' and essentially accusing me of lying. Yep folks it's my fault that my hair that they colored yesterday still has some white and the base doesn't match the rest of my hair. What do you say to something like that ?!! We will fix it this time but go somewhere else after. Yeah like I even want to come back after that statement! When I proceeded to tell him he was being rude and condescending and that I would write a review about this he started yelling cutting me off saying 'are you threatening me?' Over and over until I hung on him. No thanks I don't need this abuse. There was another inicident where I booked a haircut with him. When he started cutting my hair he asked 'who cut your hair it's really uneven' all shocked but when I told him it was one of his staff and why I booked with him instead his whole demeanor changed and went on to say things like 'well if you don't communicate exactly what you want you might not get good results' again putting on me that my hair was badly cut!!! The owner of this salon is rude and condescending and If his staff messes up he will blame you. No accountability or respect.
