My first visit to Posh was today as the location is conveniently located near my office in Westborough so used my lunch break wisely. I learned it was under new ownership of just 3 months. The staff was welcoming and the salon itself was clean and inviting. Lee was my technician and she was wonderful. I received 10% off because it was my first visit. Awful!!! I've been here a couple times and it was only ok, but after today I'm never going back. All my nails are filed crooked and she CUT ME so badly. (Pictured) I've never been cut that bad at a nail salon before NOT TO MENTION she didn't pull the cuticle cutters out of a sanitary station or pack. I should have left then. I walked out after she cut me and then tried to blame it on my 'long cuticle'. Um no. My finger is killing me. I'm fucking furious and worried about an infection now. I went here today and this was by far the most rushed manicure I've had. 20 minutes and he was done. There are no prices listed anywhere and when I asked for a price he kind of made it up. I'm concerned for other customers. When I asked for a price list of their services he said go to Google. Never again. Worried about cleanliness as well. read more

Not only did my nails come out terrible, she did not even clip any of the dead skin or even put lotion on my hands. She slapped my hands multiple times and bent them in positions that were uncomfortable. My nails beds are literally bleeding. There is no value in the $47 dip manicure she talked me into. She was texting and answering calls the whole time. Telling every customer to pay cash to save $3. For starters, she is very personable and attentive to the needs of her customers and will go out of her way to make sure they are satisfied; I can attest to this because I go to her on a monthly basis. My nails have never lifted nor chipped along side of any compliments that I've received by random people. I'm a very picky customer who scrutinizes her work and she always aim to please me. I want to personally thank Heidi, and her wonderful staff that I appreciate so much for the hard work and time that they put into their work. Okay. I wouldn't get a manicure here but the pedicure was fine. They did have a dog running around which I was more worried about the unsafe environment for the dog than anything else. They only had 2 chairs in the waiting room so not the most accommodating. The place looked clean enough. If you want something quick, this is the place. read more

Heidi does such a great job on my nails. She recommended a gel full-set-- I was a little skeptical at first but they're beautiful every time and super long-lasting (2+ weeks) despite the fact that I work with my hands and wash them constantly. I've struggled to find a great local nail tech and I'm so glad I finally did. I've recommended Posh Nails to others and they've all had positive experiences as well. Looking for a new bail salon to go to we selected Posh. What a mistake. The tools they used on my daughter pedicure still had someone's skin on it! Yuck!!! Then the technician doing my pedicure decided that she needed to buff of the white lines on my nails only on one foot. It's been s month now and the damage she did to my nails is still present. She used the polishing drill they use on the acrylic manicures. It not only left the white lines I had but left swirling scraping on my nails. Funny she only did one foot!!! I changed technicians as the first one who began with me evidently didn't know what she was doing. Another guy comes to take over, so I have to move with I explanation. Nails not in good shape. I have been about 8 times for pedicures and have only been happy with the job half the time. This last time, it will be the last visit. I booked an appointment for this past Sunday morning to have a relaxing hour away from my babies and I was so disappointed. They gave me the new girl. She had no clue how to do anything, the other staff was stepping in to correct her work which was embarrassing for both me and the salon girl. I asked for a spa pedicure and she didn't know any of the steps. Crap massage. And it took so long I had to leave with wet toes. Also, I got my hands waxed a while back to test that service... Great salon with relatively low prices. Manicures are $15, and if you get the right manicurist they can last longer than most salons as well. Only downside is they spend a large amount of time trying to get you to either upgrade to a gel manicure or to add a pedicure to your treatment as well. Sometimes this can be over bearing, but aside from the pressure to upgrade, I'd give this salon a pretty good rating! read more

We had an appointment and they didn't get started on my daughter until almost 35 minutes later. We had to keep nagging. They also charged my youngest daughter $35 for a kids pedicure instead of $25(which is what is listed on their menu). She then said it's because of the polish they used. I have gotten gel nails at many different nail salons in Boston and the Boston area, and none of them have lasted as long and as shiny as they do when I get them done at posh nails. I've been a very regular gel manicure & pedicure customer of Posh nails for four years now. Everyone I have seen is simply fantastic. I currently see Kenny and Heidi and my manicure lasts 3 weeks!! I saw some patrons comment about Charlie the little puppy that comes to work with the owner. If he did bark at someone walking through the door, that is very unlike him...he is typically so quiet, you would never even know he was there! Honestly, Charlie is about 2 pounds and a scaredy cat, so I doubt he was threatening. A huge thank you to the staff at Posh - they are always most accommodating, pleasant, and talented. read more

From the moment I walked into Posh, I felt that the staff wanted to give me the best experience they could. They were friendly, professional, and willing to accommodate special requests. Their pedicures include foot and leg (up to the knee) massages. The chairs were comfortable and fully adjustable. The foot bath was fully lined with a disposable plastic bag, for want of a better word. I see that the mother of one of the reviewers from about four months ago got a nail fungus there. I suspect the liner was to avoid it happening to someone else. I appreciate the extra hygiene, and trust it, but I would prefer a salon that had kept its equipment clean enough not to require it. I was torn between giving Posh four stars or five. I went with four because, although trivial, two issues made my visit less relaxing. The first is that I had a lot of trouble understanding what the staff was saying. Their accents were very thick and I have trouble with accents. My companion has better hearing than I, though, and was able to tell me what was being said. I think the woman working on me also was having trouble understanding English, but I may be mistaken. The second is that everything is a la carte, and when they suggested a product or treatment they didn't mention that it would cost me more. I felt like a cheapskate when I kept asking about price. I'm pretty sure that that was only in my head. The woman working on me gave no indication that I was bothering her, and remained friendly and helpful throughout. read more

I met a friend for a pedicure this morning (she will only go to this salon) and I was pleasantly surprised with the service that I received! The salon felt very clean and the staff was friendly. They had a very large color selection, especially for gel (more than most salons that I've been to). I had a spa pedicure by Tony and it was excellent. He was friendly and professional. Went to Posh Nails when my two go-to salons were fully booked. Asked for a standard pedicure ($6 more than my normal spots) and got extremely sub-par service. Technician seemed extremely confused, her attempt at the calf massage was so weak that I asked her to please skip it (she was actually irritating me more than providing relaxation) and when I went to dry my toes, I noticed that one toe was smudged. That seemed to bring about such drama that I paid, politely declined to have it repaired, and left. Won't be returning. Back to Nails 2000 and Nail Zone. Better service and better pricing. read more

I have been going on my lunch break every 2 weeks for the past 4 years and have never experienced any issues. I'm always happy when I leave and everyone is so friendly. They are great at being upfront about wait times and if you make an appointment you never have to wait (I've made appointments at other places before and still would have to wait upwards of an hour to be seen). I've even started recommending to my friends and co-workers who agree that they do an amazing job with fair prices (and they are always clean!). My nails always look fab and it's an easy in and out. I've been a repeated customer of Posh nail salon and have seen the service here deteriorate. The quality of the manicure and pedicures have been inconsistent and apparently so is the hygiene. The last time I went there was with my mother who ended up getting a fungus in her nails from a gel manicure. When she confronted the spa they minimized what she went through and made her feel like she was crazy. She had to see a doctor and get medical care for the infection and received from this nail spa. I will certainly never be back here again and now will my mother. It says a lot about a business how they handle customer complaints. A little compassion would have gone a long way. read more

A regular gel pedicure took over 2 hrs. Somebody obviously in training-he used his nail to dig into my cuticles?! It was the most painful pedicure I ever had. I'm a pedicure queen! I live in Westborough and there aren't many nail salons nearby. Well the first time I went to get a pedicure, they removed too much skin from my heels - after few weeks, calluses started to build up and it became very uncomfortable. However I was impressed that the polish stayed on so i went back to give it a second chance - the pedicurist cut my big toenails too short and that immediately that week, i had red swelling skin around them. it was soo painful. I later learned that they were ingrown nails!!! i'm never going back there-- and my love for pedicures is forever tarnished. Im afraid to get hurt again! read more
