Every single person I've encountered here has been genuine, nice and accommodating, from the…read morereceptionists, to the aestheticians, to the hairdressers. The entire place is clean and not overwhelmingly scented. There's fruit water, trail mix and a small waiting/seating in the center of the salon. Plus your typical products for purchase by the front - they do NOT try to sell you anything whatsoever and that can't be understated. I despise pushiness because there truly is no need. The spa area is quiet and separated, located in the very back, as compared to the hair services out front and manicure stations off to a side in the back. The service here is exceptional, and I'm sure they know they do a wonderful job! Chuck is a riot, and Pam is very sweet. Both did great jobs for blowouts. Rachel's good for massages; very receptive and caters to what you need. New go to spa / salon for sure :)

The perfect New(-age) England setting which I believe used to be a home - hardwood floors and cozy nooks and crannies. Chill beats flow through the space along with the pleasant scents of incence. It's something out of an interior design magazine, welcoming and beautiful and everything I wish my actual home was made up of. I'm writing from the comfort of their waiting room as I've not yet regained the ability to walk after my hot stone massage with Jeff. Meet Jeff. A-maze-ing. I scheduled this last minute appointment away from my usual spa due to the severity of my back and neck pain and the urgency of the matter. Couldn't be happier - proud convert - can't wait to return. I'm not entirely convinced that the man has hands, rather hypnotic soothing waves that carried me off to relaxationville. I still feel like I'm radiating heat and tranquility. I was absolutely thrilled with the care and attention that I received during my facial at KaLis! Katia, the owner was very warm, friendly, and genuine. I let her chose the best facial treatment for me, and was happy to see that she didn't jump at the opportunity to suggest the most expensive service availbe. Quite the contrary, I received a relatively mild vitamin c facial treatment for sensitive skin which was very appropriate for me given my dermatolic history and the fact that I was new to this spa product line. The best part- Katia added in all types of complimentary services during my facial that I did not expect. She gave me a hot stone massage on my arms, massaged my scalp, "zapped" a few blemishes, and even tweezed a few stray hairs. After my facial was finished there was no pressure to buy products or reschedule for another service. Katia gave me a few product samples to use over the next month and informed me that future appointments can be scheduled if I like. One word of note, don't let the drive by appearance of this spa fool you. The spa is in a charming cape that seems like a private residence from the road. However, once you step inside you will have entered a "pamper and relaxation" oasis with a well appointed waiting area and private and soothing rooms. Take care of yourself and enjoy!
