Just had an amazing 60 min prenatal massage by April. Incredible attention to your needs and she really has the experience (comparable to massages I've had in Queens NY). The vibes are amazing and the store owner is lovely and very sweet. The hot stones and hot towels were the cherry on top. I went here thanks to Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. It's clean with essential oils adding a nice vibe. Its not quite "day spa" ambiance--the rooms aren't sound proof so you can hear people talking, and they didn't offer water or anything--but the massage was hands down the best of my life, and it was super reasonably priced. Danielle was super skilled and intuitive, and incorporated hot towels and stones, awesome stretching, and even some Thai massage walking on me. She could really tell where I was tight, and took the time to thoroughly address those areas until they loosened up. I loved it all and left feeling so peaceful. I'll probably be sore tomorrow...I can start to feel it already...but that's what I wanted. She actually worked things out that have been holding tension forever. I'm sure if you wanted a more mellow massage, they'd happily accommodate. The owner was sure to tell me not to be shy asking for more or less pressure, and when I was leaving, she asked how my massage was, and I could tell she really cared and takes pride in her business. I appreciate that. The owner also did some waxing for me, which was better than my usual place, and also very reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back. Tips: There's two hour street parking out front, and if you're treating yourself to several services, the lot across the street has four hour parking. The spa is under a restaurant, so it'll be quieter during non meal times. They prefer tips in cash, but can put them on a card if needed. They can also email you an invoice you can use to try to submit for use with FSA funds. read more

I've been getting facial here since...I wanna say late summer 2019. The owner, who is also the esthetician, is extremely dedicated to her customers. I've been to so many facials at other spas before Mai Thai and my skin would still stay clogged or become really dry. I think other estheticians never quite knew what my skin type was. They just thought it was dry when in reality, it was clogged, which prevented any skincare from penetrating my skin. To put it into perspective, my skin was flaky and dry even in the summer. Someone at my work even asked me if I had forgotten to rub in my sunscreen...no, my skin was just so clogged that my moisturizer just did not absorb. I was pretty self conscious about about the state of my skin. Mai, the esthetician and owner of Mai Thai, is REALLY good at extractions. After this facial, for the first time in a very long time, my skincare actually seemed to sink in. I got a tiny bit emotional in front of the mirror at home lol. Mai is also super patient. I'm not sure how she can handle me when I'm withering around in pain during extractions. But she does. My skin has been so much smoother, softer, and also brighter. The first time I had gone to Mai Thai, I didn't know what kind of a facial I needed. She studied my skin and recommended the Deep Pore Cleansing treatment. The spas that I had previously gone to usually recommend the most expensive treatment, whatever they can do to make money, right? But Mai recommended something that was in the lower range from the treatments she offers. She obviously cares about her customer's skin and happiness. And she is a very compassionate and sweet person and very easy to trust. read more

I came here for a post-Valentine's couples massage with my fiancée, and we can't recommend the Mai Thai Signature massage enough. Our room was also decorated with some roses and rose petals, which we appreciated. We enjoyed the typical massage techniques mixed with other styles, including a bit of hot stone massage and lots of assisted stretches. I'm a runner with a desk job and terrible posture, so I tend to get aches just about everywhere. I really enjoyed that the massage included my legs, hands, feet, and arms. My therapist worked wonders with my neck, shoulders, and lower back as well. She checked in occasionally about pressure level, which was just about right for me. My fiancée and I both walked out of there feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. We've already agreed we'll be coming back for more! read more

We have heard amazing things about Mai Thai Spa through our friends, so we decided to give it a go. Upon entering the Spa, the decor looks beautiful, cozy, and very unique. A lovely place with a serene atmosphere. When you walk down the stairs you immediately get the "Relaxed" vibe. I went with my wife and got a couples massage. The massage was great. The only problem with this place is there is a restaurant above and a few times during the massage there was loud bangs and foot steps which kinda kills the vibe. I had the pleasure to come here last wkend with my best friend for a couple massage. I had Mai Thai signature massage with Christina. I have to say it's the best massage I've ever had. She cracked every bone in me that been needing for quite some times now that couldn't be done in the past and some I didn't even know could be done. She was very gentle and every touch she knows exactly what she's doing. I thought she's amazing! I will definitely come again! On top of having the best massage, the place was very nice, clean, and very relaxing environment. I love the heating bed they have and the scent they used for the room and the massage. I'm glad we booked 2 wks in advance for a Saturday because we wouldn't have been able to make the same day appointment. Anna, the masseuse I saw my first time and whom I requested the second visit because I loved her so much, is very strong, thorough and attentive. The Mai Thai massage, which I've had both times, is a blend of deep tissue, stretching, hot stones and being walked on (amazing), the combination of which is simply perfection. I have officially made this my go to place and would highly recommend to anyone in the mood for a great, deep, relaxing, yoga-without-doing-yoga kind of massage. Very nice place, friendly staff. As soon as I got there they asked me if I needed anything and offered water. My experience was good but the lady had a nail that was bothering me a bit, she was very nice tho but when used the steamer she used it too close to my face it was waaaay too hot but she fixed it and problem solved. Visiting Mai Thai is the absolute highlight of my week! It doesn't matter the stress in my life, the moment I walk in and smell the lemongrass, I immediately relax. I got my first facial here and i had a wonderful experience! I didn't know what facial to get and they were able to customize a facial treatment for me. The spa was very relaxing and clean. It smelled really good and they had calming music playing in the background. My skin feels cleaner and brighter! They cleansed, exfoliated, moisturized, and massaged my skin but bettered my skin care routine with advice! They also suggested a range of products for my skin. I followed Mai to her new spa. I only see Mai specially for massages because I suffer from chronic upper back pain. Mai really focuses on my problem areas and releases all the knots in my shoulders and back. Mai is thorough and attentive in providing the best care/service to her clients.
