Guy was horrible! I asked him to use more pressure and did not! He kept leaving the room and he dropped a hot rock on my head ! The worst part i was trying to relax he was talking to another employee in a different language and he was above my head!! Worst massage ever! Do not waste your money! Oh and used suave lotion no oil!! AWEFUL! :( read more

Do Not Go Here. Zero stars. If you do not leave exactly a 20% tip, they question you which I cannot think of anything ruder. I should have asked for what I left back. Someone needs to educate them. read more

This was a place I stumbled upon by chance before heading to the airport for a long flight. For years, I struggled with hip, thigh, and lower back pain. I had X-rays done and was advised to try physical therapy along with medication. I've always avoided painkillers because of the risk of dependency, and while PT gave me some short-term relief, it never truly resolved my pain. Then I found this hidden gem, and my massage therapist, Sisi, has been amazing. After just one session, years of chronic pain felt lifted. Today was my second visit, and even my front thigh pain was relieved. I feel so fortunate to have discovered this place. The results are incredible, and I can genuinely say it's worth every dollar. No endless PT sessions, no medication, just real relief. Highly recommended! read more

I just called this place to ask what the price was for a 30 min or 60 min massage and she would not tell me. She just asked what time I wanted to come in and then I said, well I want to know the price first and she said "whole body" and then I was like no... the price. She said we can do 5:30. I asked why she wouldn't tell me the price and then she hung up on me. It was not a language barrier issue, to be clear. read more

Oh my goodness, I cannot believe that I've been missing out on this place for so long. Usually massage places in the mall have let me down so bad in the past, so I kind of gave up on them. But one day I decided to give this place a shot. It turns out this one has to be one of the best massages that I've ever received! I was not expecting that! I had 2 different women masseuses the 2 times that I went. They both were AMAZING. When I'm checking in/out for my appointment, I notice your everyday business man/women paying for their hour long massage. Seems like the word about this place already got out. Yes it's in the mall, but they have rooms with walls so you can change and lay down. You can still hear noise around you, but the massage blows any distraction away. Trust me, don't do the 15 minute massage because you'll be upset that you didn't do the 1/2 hour or the hour long massage- if you have time of course! Worth every penny! read more

Not a great place to get a quick 30 minute massage. Instead of gently working out tight muscles, the massage "therapist" decided to snap my neck without telling me what he was going to do. I told the "therapist" that my neck hurt from the rough massaging. Maybe he massaged larger vertebrates like equines or bovines before massaging sapiens. He's not a chiropractor and should not be snapping necks. I'll just take my money elsewhere the next time my back is tight. read more

The best. I would've never thought that this tiny spa in a Mall would be so good. Kevin was my masseuse and he was fantastic!

I typically do the 30 minute chair massage with Jack. It's thorough and priced correctly at $30 plus tip. The only lousy part is that they only take day of appointment requests, but I've never had an issue getting in when I've wanted to. read more

I used to love this place. All was excellent until my most recent visit. Their prices went up-ok- understandable. I thankfully had enough cash on me. I paid and that left for a $7 tip for a 60 min massage. I gave the person his tip. He looked at it in disgust, complained and almost threw it back at me. Said no- you need to pay 20% tip. I did not have enough cash to pay the 20%. So I ended up being charged $5 card fee for him to receive his demanded 20% tip. I told them. LAST TIME I AM COMING HERE. Looking for a new place - where they don't demand a "tip." Suggestions? read more

I've been going to An Kong Spa for over 7 years and have had many massages throughout the years. I always request Amy for my massage since she knows exactly how I like my massage done since I prefer Swedish Style. As someone who's easily had over 500 massages I can honestly say that Amy is the best massage therapist I've ever encountered!!! read more

You can get a good message here. They have added a second location in the same mall. Not sure if you can walk in, I always call before I go to the mall so I make sure I can get an appointment It can be a bit noisy (its in a mall) Clean and the girls are always friendly. read more

The old staff is no longer available, the new masseuses are horrible. The masseuse was sniffing while giving a massage and I asked her to leave. Tried another time and the massage was terrible! read more

Alright let me start by saying I'm SO shocked and disappointed by the bad reviews on this place. Not saying they're bs, but they're bs. This is a small family owned company who works extremely hard. Zoe - the daughter of the owner - is always working at the front desk and she's really taken this business to the next level with her hospitality. I've never been greeted without a smile, and sincerely feel welcome every time I walk in. Let me say - this place is a hidden gem! And A LOT of locals know this, which is why if you want an appointment you should schedule it in advance (as Zoe always suggests). As previously stated, this is a local family run business so if you are late they will take the next walk in customer who's been waiting 20 min for a massage. That being said, the girls at this place absolutely know what they're doing. This isn't a massage envy (which I've had a year long subscription to) who hires apprentice/trainee masseuses. These women are trained and know exactly what they're doing. They can find and pinpoint all the knots in your back and work them out. Literally kneading at the location and moving on to the next. If you have back, neck, foot pain - this is the place to go. read more

Worst massage I have ever received. I left in serious pain! The older lady that massaged me kept pushing hard on my spine! I cried out in pain several times, but she pushed there a total of 4 times! I am still in pain hours later. This place has a good rating overall, so I don't know if it's just the lady that massaged me that isn't good, or if there is more. But with the way I'm in pain, I won't risk going back ever. read more

My review is for their 15 minute chair massage which I've gone back for about 6 times or so. If you can get over the ambient noise, this massage is so wonderful. The massage therapists I've had are great at recognizing how soft/hard you prefer and working within those parameters. I always prefer a little harder to get all the knots out, but that's me. When I leave it feels as if my head is weightless and the stress from my shoulders is always greatly reduced. read more

This place is a wonderful oasis in the Natick Mall. I have been coming here since they opened about 9 years ago. Always great service here - they make you feel like you are a member of the family. They have saved my neck and back! read more

Awesome place to get a massage, and I highly recommend Amy. She relaxes my neck and shoulder muscles, which get tight on a too regular basis. Music is pleasant, and for a mall spa, it's really a lovely place to go (and convenient if you have other mall shopping to do) for a massage. read more

Horrible customer service. Decent massage for a mall establishment with no door & the sounds of children screaming right outside. They charge 10% more for paying with a credit or debit card! ANNND they don't take American Express. Those two things coupled with the bad receptionist made me decide not to leave a tip. Your tip is the 10% extra I had to pay. The receptionist proceeds to get loud and rude with me which confirmed my decision not to leave a tip. She then says she will call security on me when I refuse to change my mind. Appalled I asked her based on what, didn't you get your money? She says she will tell them that I cursed her out. Which I DID NOT. I have a choice not to leave a tip so I didn't. Learn better customer service, drop the 10% up charge for not paying in cash, and accept Amex then maybe you'll get a tip. Very bad impression since this is my first day in the area from D.C. I've received massages all over the country & have never heard of their rule. Usually I leave a $20-$30 tip but I just could not leave a tip BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE TO AND I WAS NOT HAPPY. read more

I am sorry to have to corroborate with my own unsatisfactory experience the reviews lamenting the rudeness and deplorable customer service at this spa. On one occasion I needed to 'break' a larger bill in order to give the sullen massage therapist a tip and she kept more of the change than I specified. I chose not to make a scene by insisting... On my next visit (which will be my last) a rude face was made when accepting a tip. No smiles or thank yous ever at this spa! A loud buzzer is used to end each session, a jarring conclusion to what was supposed to be a relaxing experience. So called "reflexology" treatment did not include any reflexology pressure points, just a lackluster general massage. Overall, very disappointing. read more

Decent service and nice people，It doesn't make sense that why people bager with tipping manner......so mean and funny！I really treat it as a normal daily way to show your respect to the service provider！ Anyway，like it very much and definitely will come back. I've been here twice now, and it's a good, no-frills place to get some kinks worked out. I frequent a lot of these mall massage places, and while this isn't my favorite one (that honor belongs to U-Relax at Providence Place Mall... swoon!), this is a solid contender, to be sure. Sure, you still hear some of the hustle and bustle of Natick mall and its patrons, but it's a nice way to decompress for 20, 30, or even 60 minutes. The first time I went, I tried a chair massage for 20 minutes, and the lady who worked on my neck/back/shoulders was a BEAST... in only the best of ways. She got out a lot of knots and was just the right amount of firmness. $20 (cash) well spent. The second time I went, I tried a lay-down massage for 30 minutes. The guy was nice and asked which areas I needed the most work on--well, "everything" wasn't an option, so I told him my neck and shoulders. He was able to adjust the level of firmness with which he massaged me, which was nice, and kept me informed about other things going on with my body--e.g., I have some kinda issues with my tendons, which affect pain in my hips and legs, so that was a good heads up to have. He not only massaged me but also put some analgesic on my back (smelled like Tiger Balm--that stuff is AWESOME), to help with the discomfort in that area (due to this tendon issue). Pretty thorough. I wish I had asked for more than 30 minutes, but due to time crunch (it IS the holidays, after all), that's all I could spare, and so I coughed up the $31+tip (they charge a bit more if you pay with your credit card) and promised them (and myself) that I'd be back. And, yes, I will indeed be back for more later. read more

While Christmas shopping at the mall, I had the brilliant idea that I should give myself a massage! ...but seriously, I was in excruciating pain. Was quickly welcomed in - decor was pretty nice. The man working at the desk offered me water and a bathroom - just what I needed after walking around for hours at the mall! The woman gave me a very thorough massage in a private room. I had some serious knots and she aggressively worked on them. I've never really been interested in the "deep tissue" type of massage, but due to the raging knots in my shoulders and neck, I definitely needed it! I left the massage feeling much better, and woke up the next day with my muscles sore as though I had worked out. It was a good sore though, and definitely preferable to the tightness I had been experiencing. $30 for 30 minutes - fine by me! Just wish I didn't have to walk around the mall with a bright red circle on my face afterwards :) read more

Ask for Coco for foot reflexology. She doesn't speak too much English but that's ok - you're there for relaxation and some semblance of quiet anyway. Actually that's the one thing that sucks but I think that's why the prices are fair - the mall noise is far from relaxing but truthfully I didn't care - the foot massage was out of this world! So my bf and I are on our feet in clinic or hunched over desks for admin all day long everyday so we thought we'd treat ourselves after some shopping. He went for a back massage and I went for a foot massage. For a back massage, they have private partitioned off areas and for foot, you get to sink yourself into a nice armchair. I used to go to spas for massage and have had 8 or 9 different massage therapists. I'd say Coco is a contender for #1. These ladies have insane strength and awesome forearms and they know how to hit all the right spots!! I had so many trigger points in my feet and she hit them all. My guy was happy with his massage, too - again, great with the trigger points. Fair prices! I'd suggest you come here right away and book an appointment if you want a massage after a shopping trip or call ahead - this place gets super busy! Next time I'm in the area, I'm definitely coming back for an hour massage and longer if they have the option! 4.5 stars read more

I HAD ZERO CLUE!!! OMG!!! I could only fit in a 30 minute deep tissue. I walked in crooked, and walked out STRAIGHT as an arrow. The tiny little thing jumped on the table and used her knees to unravel my lower back and hips - GET OUT OF TOWN. I was skeptical, but walked out a believer. read more

Deplorable customer service. It was truly unimaginable. Showed up literally 2 min late for my 6:15 massage, the front desk lady said in a snippy tone that "I better call if I'm running late next time". Always nice to get threatened to start your spa expierence. Oh it gets better.. The massage itself was decent, but the noise from the day care next door coupled with the masseuses speaking to each other constantly during the massage was really off putting. There's really no need to add to an already noisy environment by chit chatting constantly to your coworkers during my masssage The worst part was at the end, when it came time to pay. I left a 10 dollar tip on a 60$ bill and was literally laughed at by another masseus who was attending the register and the lady that massage me who was standing next to her just shook her head and looked really pissed. This is the second time in 3 visits where they've either mumbled under their breath or looked visually distraught at a 17% tip. Am I missing something? read more

I went here needing some deep tissue work. This reminds me of the places I went to in Japan. Private but not luxury. Didn't hear the chaos of the mall. pros: easy to schedule apt free parking deep tissue work keep in mind: this is not a luxury day spa not for those wanting aromatherapy, soft gentle work or complete privacy. con: fee for debit cards. at $60 hour, bring cash. read more

I get chronic migraines and a doctor recommended that I try getting regular massages to help relieve them. I have had a migraine for several days and was at my wit's end. I called An Kong and was able to make a same day appointment for a 60 minute massage with Cindy. She found all of the knots and helped to loosen them up. Although it was painful at first as she found each knot, it was not unbearably so because she moved to another area after a few minutes and came back to them later, or used different types of pressure. My shoulders and neck feel so much better now. When I left, my migraine felt 50% less painful and a few hours after the massage and drinking a lot of water, it went away completely! I will definitely be back to An Kong again soon. read more

I'm a LMT and was pleasantly surprised with my experience! Wow! I walked past this place when I first walked into the mall. I had some shoulder pain (from doing massages). My therapist used heavy pressure, including elbows. After a little while she used a hot stone over the area. Then, I thought she was adjusting the towel on my back, to wrap things up. But, no! She climbed onto the table and walked up from my feet to shoulders.. Nice . So glad I made the snap decision to stop in. read more

I must say I was looking forward to my visit, as I've needed a massage for quite some time. I decided to not spend too much money since I've never gotten one and I'd work my way up if I didn't like the experience. Let me tell you... I lay down and the woman came in to begin. It started out well, I was surprisingly relaxed despite how public everything was. I was in a private "room" so it didn't seem as though the whole world was right next to me. Things were going well and i was feeling the pressure points and the pains of untying my knots. I knew that this must mean I'd feel great afterward because the pain is only the step before the comfort. I got up after my hour session and felt EXACTLY the same as I had before. As opposed to the warm stones other massage parlors use, she had used some bag heated gel that didn't do sh** for me. I got dressed as quickly as possible and went out to pay. Only when they swiped my card, it didn't read it. I'll admit, my debit card is a bit worn but my nearly new credit card wasn't recognized either. So they held my license while I went to the other side of the mall to take the money out from the ATM. When I went back with the cash, they were laughing at me. Yes, it's a riot that your card machine is only for show and your clients get stressed and hurry from one end of the mall to the other. That really helps after just getting a massage. The next morning, no changes. I'll shell out extra money for someone who knows what they're doing. read more

I went to An Kong while on vacation in Massachusetts visiting family. After the stress of travel and sleeping in unfamiliar beds, I developed a painful knot in my left shoulder that I tried to ignore until it got so bad I couldn't turn my head. I looked up a few massage places online and opted for An Kong because it was affordable, they offered short massage times, it was nearby, and it didn't require an appointment. In Dallas (where I live), I have a regular massage therapist who is amazing and who I trust very much. I've had lots of massages in the past and I knew exactly what I needed. Wail on my left shoulder for half an hour, please! It was definitely a no-frills kind of deal, but I wasn't looking for a long massage in a spa setting - I just needed some pain relief. My massage therapist did focus mainly on my troubled shoulder and had really great pressure. I left feeling about a thousand times better than when I came in. Bottom line: This place is a lifesaver if you need some bodywork RIGHT NOW. Would I go there if I was seeking a languid, relaxing, spa-style massage? Probably not. But was it perfect for giving me some much-needed relief mid-vacation when I didn't have a lot of time or money to spend? You bet. read more

An Kong Spa is an oasis in the Natick Mall. I've been going to An Kong at least once a week for the last year - I felt like I'd won the lottery after the first visit. I've seen every massage therapist, and they're all fantastic and have some serious skills. My neck and back always feel so much better after every visit - also love their reflexology. The mall is a little noisy, but the tables are comfortable and they play relaxing music. The manager who sits at the front desk has always made me feel welcome and tries to accommodate my appointment time requests. The prices are so reasonable too - if I didn't live nearby, I'd travel to come here. read more

Great establishment! I have been coming for a little while now. Prices are reasonable, they offer a cash discount, obviously cheaper than using a card, which is charged at their regular prices. Located in the Natick Mall, it can be a little noisy, which is understandable because of the mall's high volume..... I never leave reviews, but I felt the need to today, after I over heard an argument, while getting a massage, between a customer and an employee, in which the customer was saying she was going to leave a bad review...... The customer was yelling and saying that she was overcharged for using her card, and was upset because she couldn't use her Am Ex. She was also trying to say that the price for using a card was for an automatic tip that is given to the employee that gave the massage, (which is false). The customer was very rude and again yelling, so the employee kindly asked her to leave or she would call mall security. In which the employee was totally in the right. If this particular customer would have let the employee explain things to her, the argument could have been avoided. Again terrific business! As for the employee's.... Keep Up The Great Work! Don't let one negative customer ruin your day or professionalism! read more

Waste of time. I used to like coming here a few years ago but the quality of service downgraded immensely. The massage itself was uneven on both sides, not smooth transitions, and clearly the masseause is not cerified. Ive been going to massages for years and you can just tell when someone knows how to massage and this place does not cut it. I had a woman named Sunny or sonny. I dont reccomend it even if its slighlty cheaper than nearby places. read more

Same issue with the tip. Massage was good, but EXTREMELY RUDE front desk during check-out. The noise level was insane during the massage with the therapists talking back and forth to one another through the walls (including mine). Due to this, I left a $10 tip on a $90 total. They told me I should leave 20% and the lady started snarling when I didn't change it. They also charged $6-7 more for using a credit card to encourage cash. I'm sure all that's getting reported for tax purposes, hmmm. Just for clarification, a tip in the ENGLISH dictionary is a sum of money as a reward for services. It is not REQUIRED and is contingent upon the services rendered and at the DISCRETION of your customers. read more

My massage was amazing! I work 7 days a week and could feel a lot of tension building in my neck. After my massage I felt much more relaxed

I had read the reviews and figured I would maybe try it one day while I was shopping...however I had scheduled a spa day at another local spa which went very badly. I actually had to walk out...so I really wanted a massage and I remembered thr reviews here. I had Lu. She was very lovely. This is not a fabulous spa environment. It is no frills however what you get is a great massage for a reasonable price. I initially chose the 30 minutes for $30 but I increased to 60 minutes because Lu was so good. There is not as much privacy as I would like, but if what you wnat is an intuitive therapist who makes your body feel better. This place is surprisingly impressive. read more
