Amazing last minute massage. Late last night I decided to spoil myself and get a massage because my neck was bothering me. I have never had a more knowledgeable massage therapist. I would compare her with a physical therapist with her knowledge of the human body. Her pressure was just right for a deep tissue massage and she knew her way around pressure points and common muscle tension areas. I was very impressed and will be going back for sure. She also incorporated some stretching and a head/face massage. It was the total package. Highly recommend even if the building itself looks unassuming. Best deep tissue massage I've ever had basically it's one of the first times I've been to a massage place where they're not touching my spine and making me jump through the roof. 2 hour massage that was thorough and amazing. She targeted pressure points that had never been activated for me before. She is highly skilled and to keep the momentum for two hours was very impressive. If I'm in the area again I would definitely return. Season Day spa MAY provide an excellent massage, but I will never actually know. I purchased a Groupon for a massage here, and was never able to book the appointment. I called at least once a day 5 days in a row to try to make an appointment, and did not hear back until I submitted an inquiry on their website that I was trying to schedule an appointment. When I did get through, the woman set up an appointment for me, and one for my boyfriend immediately after (they only had one person working at a time). We were set to go, but I mentioned the Groupon when the price came up and the woman told me "no Groupon appointments". I then asked about evenings the next week or weekend and I was told once again "no Groupon appointments". The woman kept asking if I wanted to come anyway and pay their rate, and kept trying to convince me to do that and keep the original appointment time. Since I was not set on going to this particular spa and had simply bought these as a gift for my boyfriend, I ended up contacting Groupon and they allowed me to trade in the voucher. However, I am not sure why this company is on Groupon if they are not inclined to honor the Groupon vouchers. So, they may give a good massage, but I will never know - I was turned off after this Groupon experience and don't intend to go at any point in the future. read more

We agreed on a time and the evening before, I got a call that the woman scheduled to give the massage had fallen ill. Fair enough, we all get sick... I rescheduled for a few weeks out and again, was asked to make the appointment earlier, which I did. The day before, I was called again and asked if I could come in even earlier or later. In the end, I decided to just cut my losses and skipped the appointment because I would have been incredibly late for an engagement I'd had on the calendar for weeks. Whatever you do DO NOT buy a Groupon from this place. The owner is signed up through Groupon and will not accept the vouchers. I booked two appointments for myself and a friend and when I mentioned the Groupon vouchers she said they are good for new customers only and that I should return them and she will honor the Groupon price anyway. It doesn't state anywhere in the fine print it is for new customers only and Groupon doesn't easily do returns. I argued with her and she said "fine, I will accept, but you can't have the Saturday appts you already booked." That is the only day I can go and again this is also not in the fine print. This owner is using Groupon to try to draw attention to her business and then trying to get out of accepting your voucher to avoid paying Groupon their fees. I recently had a massage from season day spa. I saw a Groupon, but paid price match directly. The place was clean. About the massage: I enjoy massage with fingers and palm. Her massage was 80% with the arm side. When you massage with fingers, you can give point pressure. She did work More on my left side of the back which was my weak spot but it was same motion way too long. For an over all body massage, lack of use of palms and fingers didn't relax me. Plus the over all body was finished really fast. She focused on the back More as it was easier to massage with arm is how I feel. Great massage! I found this place on yelp looking for a quick last minute massage and they replied to my message so fast I got in a few hours later for the appointment! Was experiencing some shoulder pain so I went in. I have been greatly reduced in the amount of pain since going. Therapist did leave the room during the massage to grab a warm towel which confused me as she didn't talk much but she did a wonderful massage despite that! The price at the end for a 60 minute massage wasn't too expensive either especially for a college student like myself. Overall loved it and will be back! read more

The girl who did mine was very good at taking direction and relentlessly worked at getting out a huge knot in my shoulder that I've had for years. The location is surprising and kind of tucked away and the decor isn't as meditative as I would have liked but when you're laying face down on a table with your eyes closed, that doesn't matter anyway. When my boyfriend and I arrived our first impression of this place was sketchy and when we first walked in I noticed it smelled like fish which turned me off but I was still trying to be hopeful. Besides we were waiting weeks for this massage and had already scheduled the appointment. So the woman comes to the desk and I tell her we have a 5pm appointment for a couples massage. She looked into this green notebook that looked very unorganized and scribbled on and told me I did not have an appointment scheduled. Also her English was not good at all. The woman offered my boyfriend and I to wait an hour to have our massages but we decided not to wait and left. They accepted my groupon with no issue, and were able to accommodate my change in appointment with no problem. This place is a hidden gem, probably the best massage I've ever had. We left super relaxed and will probably go back again soon. One downside , the bed I was being massaged on did not have the normal opening where your face would rest. While it was not what I thought, the massage was good. I have had numerous massages through the years and for everyone there was a sheet to get under once you got undressed but not at this spa. As a result I wasn't sure if I should leave my clothes on or not. When the masseuse came in, she told me to undress (while she stood there) and handed me a bath towel to lie on top of me (this would have normally been a sheet). There was no form to fill out and no conversation about my problem areas or areas to avoid nor about the type of pressure. The massage consisted of firm pressure throughout which fortunately I enjoy. A few times the masseuse left the room with no explanation which made me uneasy (never had that happen before). The sign on the wall stating not to ask for sexual favors was also an experience that I never had before. Overall, my expectation was for a spa massage based on the price and while I received a good massage, there was nothing spa like about this place though the staff was friendly. I won't be back but it may be a good place to go for someone who just wants a firm massage. read more

I received this massage as a gift and i am delighted to have my neck cured after one hour. My neck and shoulders were huge knots and i was in pain. I arrived here after my gps took me all around the town only to realize the place was hidden in an area I knew. Now i know exactly where to go next time because I have a few massages left and I could not be happier. Helen was outstanding. No talk except for pain issues and no frills for sure but worth paying less for just a fantastic massage. I walked in with pain and walked out anticipating the next one. She was incredible. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! They lie to you. My daughter bought a Groupon for a massage for me for Xmas. When I called to book the appointment, they told me I had a couples massage, My husband couldn't go so I took my daughter with me. When I arrived they told me I only had a single massage not a couples massage. Then spent 20 minutes arguing with me and saying they had not told me it was a couples massage and refused to honor a couples massage. After arguing with them for 20 min, I just gave it to my daughter since she had a car accident that morning. I sat in the lobby while my daughter had her massage and she continued to argue with me. She was so rude in not honoring her word. The other therapist was there and it wouldn't have costed her anything to make it right by giving me what hey told me on the phone I had- a couples massage. Worst massage ever. She started off asking how I would like my massage pressure. Since I didn't have aches or pains, I told her soft to medium. As she started the massage she was using the lightest touch (no pressure). I didn't say anything. Then out of nowhere she started to use her elbow. OMFG. Every time I was going to say something, she would move and I would think that she was done. But nope. I was wrong. It hurts so badly. I thought that she would get the hint to stop when my body tensed up, fist tighten, and wiggles her off. But nope. She just place a hand on me like she wanted me to stop. When it was time to turn over to face up. I peeked open my eyes and saw that her face was staring into space. The rest of the body massage wasn't even a massage at all. Pretty much just a touching rub down. If this was her version of soft to medium I don't want to know her deep tissue is like. I even remembered signing a slip up front say I needed mostly a head rub. All she did for the head was a 2 second tap tap that gave me a headache. Yes I was wrong for not speaking up. But I felt like I was in a awkward position and was kinda scared to be honest. I left there hurting so bad and felt bruised the next few days. I have had many massages before and this was far the worst. If I could give this no stars I would. Never going bad.
