We ordered several different items - fried spam rice rolls, shumai, spam fried rice without pineapples, grilled rib over rice type of dish. Neither of us liked any of the dishes because it was either too fried, too bland, too sweet, or just underseasoned. For a meal close to $80 it wasn't worth it. The customer service was friendly and accommodating. The store itself had several places to sit inside and the A/C was nice and cold. Came here to pick up some food before having a picnic with my baby. I knew I wanted some Hawaiian barbecue and I knew I wanted to come here and get it. The restaurant is spacious with a solid amount of seating. The staff were super friendly and nice as well as patient as we decided what we wanted to order. I went with the Hawaii barbecue mix plate, which comes with chicken, beef and short rib. The food was made fresh to order. It also came with white rice and Mac salad. I absolutely loved the food it was flavorful and yummy. My favorite on the plate was the chicken and the beef. The short rib was a little tough, but I still enjoyed. The Mac salad was my preference, It's fresh with little sweetness to it. Next time I have a Hawaiian barbecue fix, I will definitely be coming back here and I hope to include it a little bit more often in my food rotation. read more

We recently ordered delivery from Alohahola and had a good experience overall. I went to the website and saw the Kalua pork and since I'm from Hawaii, I know what it's supposed to look like (and taste like). The picture looks about right. What I got was NOTHING like the pic on the website. Where's the cabbage? Why is there more onions than cabbage? Why is there some sort of sweet dark sauce (teriyaki??) in the pork? It was edible in the sense that it's not rotten, it t doesn't have bugs or hair in it--but I took 3 bites and then threw it in the trash. Not worth the calories at all. The rice was okay and the Mac salad was okay but the main part of the dish was not as advertised and tasted weird. I give it 1.5 stars. read more

The rice was presented as "Fried Rice" it was not, to me it was just rice with a dash of soy sauce for color, the rice was not gummy or anything. It just wasn't what I was expecting. This is my favorite place to go to for my island food cravings in the 757. They always have good music playing in the background, the cashier is super nice and friendly. It's located in a strip mall so parking was also very easy to obtain. I made my way in and was greeted kindly by an employee who also took my order. Great customer service! I decided to order their 3 meat (trio) platter with fried rice & mac salad, a passion fruit tea, and their BBQ chicken kids platter. All platters are served with either white or fried rice and mac salad. These platters were HEFTY! One platter can easily feed 2 adults. The kids' platter alone was enough to feed one adult. It's definitely a great value (in my opinion). The trio platter was very good. I especially enjoyed the steak & fried rice. The Mac salad was just OK, although I will admit I am not a huge mac salad fan, so please take my opinion on this dish with a grain of salt. The fried rice was delicious and fluffy. There was no need for any soy sauce or other condiments. The entire dish was very flavorful without being overly seasoned or salty. Went to supreme at lynnhaven by lynnhaven mall Virginia beach got the signature Hawaii BBQ Mix with beef, chicken and short ribs with vegetables and macaroni salad and white rice . Have to say pack full of meat, but placement of Mac salad put near rice is not what I like. The lettuce cabbage is under all the meat, but i think its too small cabbage. My husband had the Hawaiian bbq plate that had chicken, Korean ribs and fried rice, Mac salad. I must say I wasn't impressed. The rice was just ok, there was nothing bbq about the shrimp. The spring rolls taste like spring rolls and the wings were VERY SALTY. I couldn't taste anything but salt, no garlic no Parmesan. And they were fried extra hard to the point that they were flaky and it was hard to get to the meat. After one wing I through the whole order of 10 away. This comes with beef, chicken thigh, and short rib. The portions are very generous and all of the meats were seasoned perfectly. It took about 20 minutes after ordering for it to be ready. It's nice that it's made to order. I also got the fruit tea and that was delicious as well. The tea flavor was strong but it was nicely balanced out with the sweetness and fruit.
