My husband and I took the Circle Island Your, Cousin Maya was our tour guide. What a great day we had! Cousin Maya is so personable too; he makes an effort to connect with all of the guests and has such a great sense of humor. He also went out of his way to take us to spots that would be less crowded with your busses...naturally there were going to be some, that was unavoidable...but we were the only people at our local lunch location...not another bus in site and lots of locals coming in for food (which was great!) The Circle Tour was wonderful! Uncle Keith Fujikawa was our guide and a native of Hawaii. He shared some great history of HI and how his father was one of the first to see Japanese planes before the bombs on Pearl Harbor. He was helpful in answering questions. My kids loved him and they listened well to his stories. He is a people person. We snorkeled on the North Shore and saw sea turtles, ate delicious shrimp, saw Jackie Chan's home, Hanauma Bay, Chinaman's Hat, the macadamias nut farm, and other places. What more can I say, book this trip and ask for Dirk. We got him by chance and he made the tour so enjoyable. After the tour, my wife and I would remanence on the tour and Dirk would constantly come up. He gave great information and told subtle jokes that would land. Uncle D (Darren) was an amazing Tour Guide! We had a blast traveling around the island for the day, learning mythology & history of the land, while seeing amazing views, locations and sites. The food stops were great, and we even managed to see a few sea turtles! Uncle D taught us a lot about the cultures, history, and modern troubles of those native to Hawaii as well. We really appreciated learning this insight, as well as some things we can do to help. The stories of the land were important, the food was delicious (I had coconut shrimp at one of our stops) and we left feeling more knowledgeable than before - and excited for a future tour as well! read more

We enjoyed this tour overall. Our tour guide was a wealth of information, and the azure blue and powerful waters of the Pacific surrounding Hawaii do not disappoint! The food at the small farm we visited was excellent, and it was fun feeding the goats and seeing the pretty chickens running around. Also, the macadamia nuts and pineapple whip were delicious at respective stops. Our only negative comment is that not much aquatic life could be seen when snorkeling, and the reality of actually seeing turtles in the water is quite slim. One last note of advice, if you love history and details about the island, then this tour is for you, but otherwise you could save money by renting a car and seeing a lot of what was included in this tour for free. read more

I stayed at the Waikiki Sands Villa and had the unfortunate "luck" of getting a travel agent there named David S. I was very specific about the only 2 things I wanted to do which were snorkel Hanauma Bay and get to the top of the Diamond Head. I was VERY SPECIFIC about what I wanted and why. I wanted CLEAR water to snorkel and he told us why go there...everyone goes there...he had a full day tour that went to a better spot with less tourists. He also claimed (falsely) that this tour also included the Diamond Head viewpoint I had told him I wanted. So based on David's lies we booked the tour which was a full day tour on the last day before flying out. Normally I would never so a touristy day tour as they are designed to get the maximum money out of the tourists. However, since he claimed that BOTH of my requested destinations were included we booked. Huge mistake! We drove by miles of crystal clear water and they even point out Hanauma Bay as we drove by it...once we got the snorkeling location we were shocked to see nothing but muddy water! Not a single fish to see as you could not see 2 inches in front of your face! The bus never went to the observation area of Diamond Head either so David ruined the vacation as we had scheduled this full day trip for the last day there! I can not tell you how disappointed we were in this terrible tour! David is terrible and was only interested in telling us tales of his sexual conquests while booking the tour! He seemed more interested in telling us about that than interest in our tour requests. If he had paid more attention to our needs instead of telling us about how he cheated on his first wife perhaps the trip would have been different but clearly he was only interested in making a couple of sales rather than assure that we saw what we had told him we were interested in! Learn from my mistake. Avoid David S at all costs! He is really terrible...just doesn't care! read more

This was our fifth tour in Hawaii/Oahu over three visits, and it was sincerely the best. Our guide, Greg, was delightfully funny keeping the whole group entertained and in bright spirits while sharing many hidDen gems. He is an even more amazing driver as there was hardly any delays from stop to stop. He really enjoys his job and respects tourists which has not always been the case with previous tours. The bus was practically new and among the most comfortable. I like that the group was limited to 25. We had lunch at a Shrimp Shack which was just right with many choices. As our guide called ahead our order, there was no waiting to be served. Although it rained throughout much of tHe day, it really didn't dampen a good time. read more

And we went to a horrible side of sunset beach. It's the worst 85$ I've ever spent. Lady was late to pick up in morning. Then she talked so much I want to throw up just thinking about it. What a fantastic experience!!! My husband and I took a sunset tour with Aloha Trikke and we had a blast! Thales took his time explaining how the Trikke works, and and made sure that we were very comfortable prior to taking off. Riding the Trike was so much fun and easy to ride!! The views were amazing! This is my favorite tour I've ever had in life. First we got there and they welcomed us in. After that they made us fill out these waivers and you have to be 13 or older. The guy put on our earbuds and helmets then we walked outside. He taught me the basics on how to ride the Trikke. We took off and he showed us some awesome locations other tour guides would not show us. He brought us to a thing where we fed fish with bread!! Then we kept on going and visited a couple houses that were owned by rich actors or singers. And saw many other things, it was an adventure! I loved this tour!!! He also told us about Waikikis history. We caught the sunset and zoomed back. This tour definitely was the best tour I've ever had. read more

The tour stated it was 9 hours, John rushed us through everything, to the point of sounding like a drill Sargent. It was not enjoyable to look around at any of the shops knowing we only had 10 minutes To look and him counting down the entire time. We finished in 5 hours! Even though we paid for 9, then he said "oh we can't finish this early" and proceeded to drive us around town on the bus for an hour and a half giving us the sights of Oahu Tour. I couldn't have cared less about that, I picked the tour to enjoy what was listed and advertised. I do not recommend this tour or this company. read more

My mum and I went in this tour around Oahu and were pretty impressed. Wasn't heaps of time to do everything at the places we stopped at, especially the dole plantation, as you have to line up for about 20 minutes just to try their famous pineapple ice cream.. Could have been a couple more Improvements overall, but our tour guide, Ray was really lovely. Full of interesting facts and legends about Oahu and really accommodating for people in the bus (: Overall I would recommend them to others.. My husband and I wanted something fun to do on a beautiful Sunday. We checked out Aloha Trikke per recommendation. I'm so glad we did! The first 10 minutes was spent going over safety and how to use the trikke. The trikke itself is powered by a battery so it's eco friendly. Aloha trikke is a must do activity on Oahu!! Last Sunday my friends and I decided to go on a shopping date, while walking around the Kings Village in Waikiki we came accross Aloha Trikke. At first, I was very intrigued by the machines but at the same time hesitant about asking questions once I thought was going to come accross some pushy sales person like it happened to me before while trying to find tour information about segway. Man, wasn't I wrong? Thales was such an amazing person to deal with! First he had the true Aloha spirit, he wasn't there to sell or to be pushy, he was truely friendly and actually took the time to answer all my questions without trying to get us to book all kinds of deals. His attention to detail and one on one training on how to use the trikkes on a safe manner really were the deal breaker. His dedication and time spent making sure each one of us were comfortable enough with the machine was priceless and we can not thank him enough for this amazing experience. We booked the sunset tour and on the Top of breathtaking views, enjoyable trade winds and amazing orange fall sunset, we rode past all the Waikiki rush and thought how fortunate we were to avoid that frustration of fighting traffic and searching for a parking spot. The tour also include special visit to some of the Oahu secluded spots and beaches known just by the local residents. The machine is very easy to use and unlike Segway you do not need to constant be worrying about the balance, once you have the training the machine pretty much drives itself. Amazing!! Please give it a chance and book a tour with these amazing enthusiastic professionals. Also make sure to ask about special deals and discounts. Aloha Trikke support our troops and we were able to get a fabulous discount because one of us was a service member. Took the tour yesterday. Our guild was Paul and he was juicy He turned a group of strangers into Ohana (family) quickly. He shared lots of historical information and told the heart breaking truth of the conquest of Hawaii and its people. It's good when people share the true realities of conquest and the current challenge Hawaiian now face. But even with the harsh reality of conquest , he made us laugh belly laughs the whole time. We traveled around the inland of Oahu in style. There were many short stops along our route and it was so pleasant to go beyond Waikiki. The beach's are amazingly beautiful, each one unique and breathtaking. We Lunched at the Shrimp Shack . Our order we preordered and were ready when we got there. I had the spicy shrimp delicious. snorkeling with the turtles at Turtle Beach was cool. Although I had originally want to go snorkeling, when we got there the current were to strong for me, so I decided to sit along the shore and enjoy the amazing weather. All of a sudden, I looked to my right and there she was! A turkey showed up on the sand right next to me. I was thrilled and delight I trusted my heart and humbly sat on the beach. The turtle continues to show herself to me and I have amazing footage of her swimming in and out of the waters. Our last stop was a pee break at the Dole Pineapple Plantation. Just the word "Plantation " tells you it's true history...the exploitation of the Hawaiian worker and all the other immigrants that worked the land. It's beautifully decorated but it felt funky to me. Our return trip back to Waikiki went quickly and before we knew it we were back All in all it was a magical day and my only negative experience as a solo traveler, was I got stick in the back row, in the center seat, which was very uncomfortable . Make sure you don't get stuck in the back row! So if you want to experience the inland quickly, this is the tour for you.
