We never felt rushed, saw the island, and learned a lot. My only complaint is that the sound system on the bus became very staticky near certain powerlines. She was there early so we didn't have to wait outside for long, she had lanyards with our tickets printed and it made the whole trip so much easier for us. Friday, August 23, 2024: My husband, sister, and I opted for the Majestic Circle Island Tour, which was about 9 hours long. I was able to purchase vouchers in advance via Tickets & Tours at Joint Base Hickam & Pearl Harbor at a military discount. It was nice to receive a text with details and also a reassuring phone call. I was impressed at the professionalism! Although we were staying in a STR in Kaneohe, we were picked up in front of the Hale Koa Hotel in Honolulu. So our journey begins! I believe we were the second stop with the bus making subsequent stops at different hotels. We were a full bus. Our tour guide, Shorts, was hilarious, engaging, and so knowledgeable of the history! Loved his Pidgin English accent , which lent to his authenticity. He laid out the ground rules especially not to speak when he was speaking but this was lost on some people in the bus! ‍ We made several stops. The most memorable is the beautiful and serene Byodo-In Temple. The most disappointing part of the tour was not being able to see Waimea Falls. The fact that there is a hike to see it was not disclosed on the website. We didn't find out until later that there was a trolley to take you there. I'm handicapped when it comes to walking long distances. Please E Noa Tours post these facts/options on the website. We ended the tour at the Dole Plantation, where we indulged in the refreshing and famous Dole Whip. My sister bought it for us in cute souvenir cups. Otherwise, we enjoyed the tour as it was nice to let somebody else do the driving while taking in the gorgeous island scenery. The downside is the inconsiderate people, who could not return to the bus at the appointed time. These delays made our other stops feel very rushed due to their carelessness/disregard. The bus is comfortable with good, running air conditioning. It would've been nice to have cup holders or pockets in the back of the seats. The lunch included was subpar. Not a lot of choice because it was a shrimp place (I'm allergic to shrimp) and we're not shrimp aficionados. So we opted for the chicken katsu and veggie noodles, neither were good. We ate some of it because we were mostly hungry but would never return to eat there on our own. All in all, we had a lot of fun and we enjoyed our tour guide Shorts. We would do it again but we will be better prepared for Waimea Falls. read more

My wife and I enjoyed our tour while visiting Honolulu, we took advantage of the Hop on and Off feature of the Waikiki Trolley line for two of the three days we were in town, we road on the Red and Pink line mostly. We felt like we had seen most of the Island and went back to several places that we saw on the tour to spend more time. We booked the 7 hour Pearl Harbor Remembered tour and it was much more than expected, We knew we were going to be picked up a few blocks from where we were staying; but we didn't know that it would be in a double decker bus with full narration along the way. We left right on time and made several stops for additional pickups and photo opps along the way. Our guide, Humu Humu (Handsome) was so full of information about the Hawaiian culture and the areas we saw. He was also really funny and so full of personality. He made our ride very enjoyable. The entire tour was super efficient. Humu Humu gave us a suggested itenerary so that we would get the most out of our time at Pearl Harbor. We completed the Pearl Harbor Remembered tour with a Waikiki pick up on 03/17/2025. This review will be based on the experience of E Noa Corporation who provides the roundtrip transportation to Pearl Harbor with a live narration of history and insights. The day prior to our tour we received a call to remind us of the tour meeting location, the baggage policy, and to answer any questions. Our driver, Huma Huma, was on time to our meeting location and drove safely. Huma Huma provided educational information about the various parts of Honolulu and history about Hawaii including Pearl Harbor. He shared some common words to know in Hawaiian, including the roots of the words to further our understanding and recall of the word. While we booked this tour primarily for the Pearl Harbor tour, the bus transport & educational experience with Huma Huma was excellent at providing truthful history and some humor mixed in. I have a new appreciation for island history and hope others can learn from this tour. The bus is a double decker with open seating. There are ponchos on board for Hawaiian showers. We visited the USS Arizona Memorial and the USS Missouri. Our driver and guide, Oli, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining - at the appropriate moments - always being respectful of the importance of December 7 and our service men and women. He offered a historical overview of the events of Pearl Harbor as well as general information about Hawaii on our way to and from the tour. Everything ran smoothly and as expected. Practical info: We were expecting rain the day of our visit. The company provided rain ponchos on the bus. While the official site of Pearl Harbor states a strict no bag policy, clear bags such as those sold at ABC stores are allowed. The federal site states clear sandwich bags are permitted however the clear bags we saw were larger than the dimensions provided on the website. A small store at the main visitor site sells chips, candy, and drinks and there's a hot dog stand. There is a larger restaurant housed near the submarine exhibit. At the USS Missouri site there is a food truck and small concession stand. read more

This was such an easy set up of a tour and the website as well as staff provided clear instructions and reminders via email and text about the details of our tour. I AM A STICKLER FOR PLANNING TRAVEL EXCURSIONS!!! So whenever I research tours to take that will give me the best and easiest experience with every detail I need to be prepared and informed, I will go with the company that provides that, and this company sure did. They even sent a picture circling the spot where the bus would get to for pick up and someone always answered my calls and answered additional questions I had. Our tour guide Oli was the nicest and warmest tour guide who we really felt like he could be our "cousin"! The whole bus ride and city tour to and from Pearl Harbor was so fun because of his enthusiastic and friendly nature. He was so knowledgeable and didn't miss a beat with telling us a good balance of facts and insight of the island and Pearl Harbor. When we arrived at the location, Oli guided us into the visitor's area and proceeded to give us a verbal layout of the area, pointing to where everything is and giving us good instructions of where we needed to be at a certain time and was very informative.
