Amazing day with Joe! He accommodated all of our needs with elderly and younger family members and was very knowledgeable of the island.

Getting strapped up for zip lining

Did the zip lines with this company transportation. Enjoyed the zip lining but recommend just stick to the 3 zip lines instead of doing the 6 one of them is done twice. The ladies that was our guides was awesome (sorry forgot your names) one local girl was very good with my daughter. Would love to go back again.

If your going to tour the island this is by far the best way to do it hands down!!! Jarmi is amazing at what she does and clearly born to do it. My sister and I went with our grandma, (whose 86 years old) to Hawaii and the tour was by far her favorite part! This truly made her entire trip even putting Jarmi's Malama Tours Hawaii above seeing Elvis (which was top of her list of things she wanted to do in while Hawaii) in the Roc-a-Hula show not to mention he dedicated a song to her and handed over his lei and scarf. We couldn't have been more appreciative of Jarmie careful attention to grandma as she requires a little more attention. Thank you again for making ours such a memorable voyage... we'll never forget the experience as you made it one for the books. -Lisa & Nikki

We LOVE Jarmila... We took our first tour with her last year (Sept 2014) and just had to come back this year to see her! She's such a good friend now and we highly recommend her tours. Such a personal tour vs. big groups. We hope to see you again next year! =)

Jarmi was a fantastic guide! She and my son Nathan clicked right away. She was patient and thoughtful in answering all of Nathans question (and my son had a ton). If you are looking for an insightful knowledgeable guided tour for your stay in Oahu then look no further. Thanks again. BTW Nathan still remembers the Moana means water and also the color of your apartment!

Jarmila was such a great tour guide. She's so knowledgeable about the island and takes you to the best spots for great photo ops. Very personable and friendly. We enjoyed a safe, comfortable ride. Would highly recommend.

Malama Tours is amazing. Jarmi is an amazing tour guide. She is very smart and knowledgeable. My wife & I were extremely impressed and happy with our tour. Jarmi explained in detail, everything about everywhere we went and it was so interesting to learn the things we did. She definitely made a believer out of us, how beautiful Oahu is, when you get out of Waikiki. She is also the kindest and caring person and took outstanding care of us. Our stop at a roadside shrimp truck was out of this world. The shrimp was awesome and the best I've had to date. Thank you Jarmi, you out did yourself and we will be back. Aloha, Jeff & Anastacia

First trip with Malama tours. Great hike with awesome scenery.

I was recommended by a friend to try out Malama tours. She said she had the best time with Yarmi so I gave it a shot. My crew and I tried her out for a day felt comfortable with Yarmi right away! Such a cool lady! She can give you all the local tips for where to go. She gives you info that you probably wouldn't get on a big bus. You feel all the Aloha spirit! We ended up having her drive us around for 80% of our trip. I can't wait to go again since there's so much to see. Aloha!

We really want to do this tour for the Dole Plantation and Luau, but we have kids with us. Is the Rum Distillery part okay for children, or is it adults only?

Aloha! Yes, absolutely. We make sure everyone has a great time. At the Kō Hana Distillery, children and guests who prefer not to drink can enjoy delicious a sample of house-made gelato while the adults taste the rum. It is a very family-friendly stop

They're both hilarious and very knowledgeable! ------------------------------- As a travel agent, I like to recommend yours or experienced that I myself have tried. While 'Im not much of a tour bus enthusiast, to ensure that my clients end up with a good one-- I decided to try Nui Tours. Unfulfilled promises by Jack (the owner): small group, Mercedes Van, all of the stops, snorkeling at a specific beach, we did not want to stop at certain places and were told we could customize, souvenir hats, 2 bottles of champagne, unlimited juices/snacks/drinks, and the discounted price per person. What we got: the bus was 30 minutes late, no one answers the phone number, HUGE OLD TOUR BUS (58 people), we did not get to choose our stops or how long we stopped somewhere, they had water bottles and Pringles (no juice/no champagne/no other snacks that were promised), and on top of several other things-- they charged us full price. WE ARE STILL AWAITING A REFUND of the amount that was overcharged. Jack has lied to us, taken zero accountability, and still refuses to answer the phone. I can't help to think that half of his warrants are for fraud at this point. There is no clear communication and several tour companies show up at the same location, so if you got suckered into these tours-- please verify with each driver to see if your name is on their list. Please choose a different touring company to support. If you have a car rented and need help planning your endeavors, feel free to reach out. Good luck out there!

Multiple guests were getting seasick, as the Captain tried his best to navigate the waters. One guest nearly fainted and after that, the atmosphere on the boat changed. The Captain wasn't talking much and it seemed as if he just wanted to get back to the dock. Knowing the weather conditions, I wish the tour was rescheduled. We saw some fish and barely saw a turtle. I know the tour doesn't guarantee seeing wildlife, but it was disappointing hardly seeing anything in the glass bottom. To add, the glass bottom is just 4 boxes that you have to peek over to see. I didn't get seasick, so it was still nice to be out on the water and enjoying the views of the ocean. Prior to the incident, the captain was very educational and funny. Overall, had the tour been on a different day with more permitting weather, I think it would've been great.

Once we got out on the water, the experience was unforgettable. We swam with colorful fish and sea turtles, saw dolphins, and even got to see false killer whales. It was truly a great day out at sea. The crew was exceptional: Capt. Dani, Ben, Faavae, Kania, Roxanne, Kirra, Bernard, and Keely all made the trip special. Keely deserves a special shout-out! The crew provided educational facts, acted as lifeguards, served food and drinks, and even danced, making the whole experience fun, safe, and memorable. But despite being called a "Dolphin and You" tour, there is only dolphin WATCHING from the boat -- no swimming with dolphins. They also only stop at one snorkel spot in shallow waters.m whereas most companies have you snorkel at 2. Maybe if I had never been on another tour, I would have thought this was good, but I'd only recommend this for people who want to mainly watch things from the boat and not snorkel. I honestly saw more marine life where I live in OC. On a previous tour with a different company, I swam in waters where dolphins were swimming all around and underneath me -- it was a core memory, and I was hoping to recreate that experience. They also don't let you swim very far from the boat, which made the experience feel overly restrictive. Because the website is not clear I will lay down the iternary: 6:00am pick-up from hotel (about 1.5 hrs to get there) Restroom stop at Fareharbor 1 hr dolphin watching--basically your just on a boat 1 hr snorkel--will see sparse fish 1 hr return--will give you sandwich and water cups no water bottles, temporary tattoo offered Return to hotel: another 1.5 hrs to drop everyone off etc Kind of waste of money $180+ and my precious vacation time. Also, be wary of the reviews. They offer incentives for leaving one. Sorry, but as a Yelp Elite, my honest opinion can't be bought.

We did the turtle tour on 5/13 at 8:30 in the morning. They teach everyone how to use the given gear, they antifog the goggles beforehand and sanitize all the gear well afterwards. They have snacks, water, and ginger ale. We saw two turtles within a couple arms lengths at the surface (you can't touch them but gosh they were so close!). We also saw about seven turtles chilling on the bottom. Tons of reef fish swimming so close to us too. The crew makes sure to point out turtles so you don't miss them. It was my first time in open water and the crew was welcoming from the start. They separate the groups so if you can't swim or are not great at swimming, you can stay back and hold onto a blue mat in the water where they teach you and help you feel comfortable in open water first. Even though I vomited afterwards (yes I took plenty of motion sickness medication ahead of time!), I highly recommend the experience. It's unlike anything else. The crew is so funny, they normalized not being able to swim well or motion sickness so you don't feel embarrassed. They get in the water with you (not all crews do!) and were super attentive, and encouraging. I felt safe enough that I was able to learn, get confident in the water and join the others and I still felt like I had plenty of great snorkeling time. Overall, GREAT company for actually seeing turtles! GREAT for inexperienced swimmers and people who get motion/sea sickness! If you're determined, you can still do it. The crew made me feel safe the entire time! You've got this, you only live once!
