I had the pleasure of joining PE for a Circle Island Tour while in Oahu. They offered a small group tour with hotel pickup and drop off and had everything and then some that I was hoping to see. Leading up to the tour details were confirmed, and I got a note from my guide with tips on what to bring and when to expect pickup. Tour day pickup was punctual and my guide Ann was fantastic!!! So friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. She was a blast to spend the day with. She gave us a rich mix of history, and folklore while indulging whatever random questions we threw her way. The pace was enjoyable, vehicle clean and comfortable and we saw all spots we were slated to. Anna had cold water at our disposal and we got a pineapple as a thank you gift for choosing Pineapple Express! Too Cute. We did the 10 stop tour from Honolulu to the Dole Plantation. The description does not do this tour justice. The entire day, experience, guide, was 10 stars! Totally worth the time and money. I was hesitant to sign up for this as I have been here before, but my friend has not. But I'm so glad we did this! The communication for this company is excellent. I had no concerns. The only downside is I wanted another hour! We were picked up at 730 and dropped off 5ish. It was a long day, but didn't feel like it. Our guide Trey was spectacular. This tour really lets you see the whole island! We did the tour for our first full day so we could see all the things we may want to go back to during our trip. Our tour guide was Ryan and he was so great! Can't say enough good things about him and the tour. We also liked the tour because it was a smaller group of us; it wasn't a giants charter bus where the guide reads from a script. This was much more personable, we could ask questions in real time, Ryan knew so much about the island and its history, it was all so fascinating. Really enjoyed all the stops we went to, as well. Make sure to bring a bathing suit, because Turtle Bay is so beautiful to swim in. And after the tour, Ryan provided us with his phone number if we needed anything while we were on Oahu. We asked him for a car rental place and that worked out really well! He also gave us food recommendations that were so good! read more

The 8 hour circle island tour was really informative and well organized. The TripAdvisor ticket price included pick up from the hotel, entrance into the temple, a Dole Pineapple and stop at Fuji Shrimp Truck (lunch at your expense) which was called in ahead so there was no wait. I was rather disappointed at the condition of the van and a few off color comments the driver made about "filling in" but they were not major deal breakers. One of the funniest was when she wanted us to pay for the temple and a few of us pulled out our confirmation to ensure she knew it was covered. She redeemed herself in so many ways, especially when our small group opted to skip time at the crowed less than clear beach stop and shaved ice stop opting for more time at Dole. As a result, most of us were able to take the tour and enjoy a pineapple ice cream cone. read more

The Oahu island tour is long, so plan to spend about 10 hours in a van in which you have to climb into to get to your seat. The tour guide was great and kept the group lively, playing music that accommodated the age group. The temple was pretty, but the only thing to view in it is a large statue of Buddha. I thought we were going to the top of Diamond Head, but it was a lookout below Diamond Head. I recommend carefully reading the tour description. Definitely would recommend this locally owned tour company. The driver was incredible. He was not only a driver but a tour guide, entertainer, DJ, trivia master, real estate expert, and storyteller. He did a great job making this a fun trip for everyone aboard. I am very glad we chose to do a circle island tour on a smaller sprinter van instead of a large tour bus. I think it made the experience way better and more efficient getting on and off at the different spots. We got to meet cool people from all over the world and the tour guide did a great job at fostering a fun group environment amongst our little van crew. The various stops were all really great. I would not have thought to visit a lot of the locations we stopped at myself but every stop was unique and really cool. This was a really well planned tour and it's clear this is a tour company with a lot of expertise in crafting an awesome experience. Anna, our tour guide, which also happened to be our driver was fantastic, she knew so much history and kept us all amused and informed was a delight. When we chose this particular tour from our hotel activity desk, they should have given us a more detailed description of the extent of each stop. There was definitely not enough time to do more than get off the bus, maybe look at a site then it was time to reboard. Best tour of Hawaii for us and it made Hawaii even nicer! Make sure and get that Dole whip at the Dole Plantation

Be prepared for an all day excursion. Our tour guide was Ryan. He is very knowledgeable about the island and culture and also versed in other cultures as well. Ryan talks the WHOLE excursion, so be prepared to listen and engage. He makes it a point to add personal touches and he's certified in Instagram photography and videography ;). The van is okay, very small and cramped. I initially thought this was a +, but if does get claustrophobic and the motion sickness knocked a few times. I would recommend this sort of accommodation with a large group not necessarily parties of two. Also because we were last on the pickup list we were split. There was also no fresh air because the windows don't go down. The tour is exactly as described. Many stops and many "and over on the left" and "over on the right" but there's a large part of the island covered. I left all stops were appropriate timing, none of the stops felt rushed or dragging. The snorkeling gear provided did not have a good seal, but fortunately I was able to switch with other snorkeler. You will see sea animals, no turtles, and the rocks are pretty sharp. I actually cut my foot. Highly recommend swim shoes. Be prepared to be exhausted on return. Overall worth it, would prefer different vehicle. read more

We took a full-day, 10-stop, circle island tour with Trey. He was VERY knowledgeable and passionate about Hawaiian history and the Polynesian Triangle culture which contributed to an awesome day. His jokes and choice of music just added to the experience. He had a joke or song for just about every lesson or story he told. I've been on other circle island tours and this was the best by far, all thanks to Trey. It was a small group of 13 so we all got to know each other a little bit by the end of the day. We were picked up promptly at 7:15 a.m. and dropped off around 5:45 p.m. so it's a long day but well worth it. I highly recommend this tour. read more

When we came downstairs the morning of, she was waiting. The van was clean and well-equipped. Her dialogue the entire day was detailed and we thoroughly enjoyed her anecdotes. All the stops were fun, and lunch was delicious. This tour provided the perfect overview of many hotspots, and I loved that we didn't have to worry about navigating in an unfamiliar destination.
