What an amazing tour. My wife and I visited multiple sites while our tour guide gave us a history lesson of the island of Oahu. It's a long, enjoyable tour, that never felt rushed. Don't hesitate. Book your tour asap. read more

We had a wonderful time on this tour! PE the tour guide was AMAZING!! She was so kind, funny and knowledgeable. And kept our 6 and 8 year olds entertained through the whole experience! Would 100% recommend read more

This is a very fun and informative train ride. You really get a look at the way pineapples are raised and harvested. The information you get is very interesting and the ride is enjoyable. We paid extra to get front seating, which was worth the money because you didn't wait in what became a very long line. Highly recommend this. read more

I had the pleasure of joining PE for a Circle Island Tour while in Oahu. They offered a small group tour with hotel pickup and drop off and had everything and then some that I was hoping to see. Leading up to the tour details were confirmed, and I got a note from my guide with tips on what to bring and when to expect pickup. Tour day pickup was punctual and my guide Ann was fantastic!!! So friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. She was a blast to spend the day with. She gave us a rich mix of history, and folklore while indulging whatever random questions we threw her way. The pace was enjoyable, vehicle clean and comfortable and we saw all spots we were slated to. Anna had cold water at our disposal and we got a pineapple as a thank you gift for choosing Pineapple Express! Too Cute. If you are looking for a fun informative way to discover Oahu I highly recommend this tour. You'd be even luckier if you got Anna as your guide. read more

Nikki was such a knowledgeable and fun tour guide! Our Circle Island tour on May 1st was wonderful! It was the best tour I've had and I've been coming to the islands for 25 years. She saved us so much by getting us in and out of each stop before all the other busses, so we were able to enjoy all the beauty of Oahu without too many of the crowds. She knew the history of Hawaii and her knowledge of plant, animal and sea life made our tour exceptional. She entertained us with good local music too! Nice touch with the gift of Pineapples, the symbol of hospitality and Aloha. Thank you Nikki & Pineapple EXP! read more

We always take a circle island tour when we visit Oahu. It gets us out of the city and puts us in touch with HAWAII. We've taken at least ten. Every one is different. We always learn something new. This was no exception. Nikki was knowledgeable and energetic. It was a fun day. We truly enjoyed it. read more

Trey was a great tour guide and we got to go all over the island and learn a lot about the places we saw. He was funny and I felt like he pointed out a lot of cool places to check out. I'd recommend doing the tour early on your trip so you can end up visiting the places he brought up later in your trip. read more

This was the best way to see as many of the highlights as possible in a limited visit to Honolulu. I really feel like I saw a lot. Ryan was very knowledgeable of the history and traditions of the area, and was very entertaining. The smaller group helped avoid the big bus lines everywhere we went. read more

Our guide was Nikki, she was absolutely wonderful! She got us everywhere before any major crowds showed up, giving us gorgeous pictures for our honeymoon! She was light and informative about everywhere we visited. Lunch went so smoothly, we were eating and relaxing while other tours stood in line. With a smaller group of 8, it made us very happy! We could not recommend a better experience for an island tour! Thank you so very much Nikki for making our honeymoon that much better! read more

We did the 10 stop tour from Honolulu to the Dole Plantation. The description does not do this tour justice. The entire day, experience, guide, was 10 stars! Totally worth the time and money. I was hesitant to sign up for this as I have been here before, but my friend has not. But I'm so glad we did this! The communication for this company is excellent. I had no concerns. The only downside is I wanted another hour! We were picked up at 730 and dropped off 5ish. It was a long day, but didn't feel like it. Our guide Trey was spectacular. His wrath of knowledge, education, and humor added to this incredible experience. I would highly recommend this trip! read more

This tour really lets you see the whole island! We did the tour for our first full day so we could see all the things we may want to go back to during our trip. Our tour guide was Ryan and he was so great! Can't say enough good things about him and the tour. We also liked the tour because it was a smaller group of us; it wasn't a giants charter bus where the guide reads from a script. This was much more personable, we could ask questions in real time, Ryan knew so much about the island and its history, it was all so fascinating. Really enjoyed all the stops we went to, as well. Make sure to bring a bathing suit, because Turtle Bay is so beautiful to swim in. And after the tour, Ryan provided us with his phone number if we needed anything while we were on Oahu. We asked him for a car rental place and that worked out really well! He also gave us food recommendations that were so good! read more

Great tour of the island. Trey was very knowledgeable and funny too. Learned a lot about the locals & history. I was a bit uncomfortable cause it was so hot out but luckily the van has good air conditioning. We were out well over 9 hours which was a bit too long for me but it was a great tour and definitely worth the money. They even gave us a pineapple to take home at the end. Highly recommend! read more

Tyrone was a genuine, funny and informative guide! The prime circle tour was an incredible and affordable way to see the entire island of Oahu! The 8 hour circle island tour was really informative and well organized. The TripAdvisor ticket price included pick up from the hotel, entrance into the temple, a Dole Pineapple and stop at Fuji Shrimp Truck (lunch at your expense) which was called in ahead so there was no wait. I was rather disappointed at the condition of the van and a few off color comments the driver made about "filling in" but they were not major deal breakers. One of the funniest was when she wanted us to pay for the temple and a few of us pulled out our confirmation to ensure she knew it was covered. She redeemed herself in so many ways, especially when our small group opted to skip time at the crowed less than clear beach stop and shaved ice stop opting for more time at Dole. As a result, most of us were able to take the tour and enjoy a pineapple ice cream cone. read more

We were celebrating our 15 the wedding anniversary and took this tour so we could see more of the island. We had the pleasure of having Tyrone as our guide. Our little group of 11 had a great time. The Tanaka Kahuku Shrimp lunch stop was sooooo good. He recommended the spicy garlic shrimp and it was delicious. Our guide Trey was the best tour guide we could have had. He was so knowledgeable and interesting. He kept us entertained the whole day. If I were to make a suggestion, it would be too have less people on the trip so that the comfort level in the seats were better. Especially for those that are on the bigger side. I cannot recommend this tour enough to anybody who has not seen the island of Oahu yet. Every stop was excellent and our tour guide, PE, was incredible. The Pineapple Exp - My daughter and I at Amelia Earhart's lookout. Our first stop! - Bus Tours Near Me

The Oahu island tour is long, so plan to spend about 10 hours in a van in which you have to climb into to get to your seat. The tour guide was great and kept the group lively, playing music that accommodated the age group. The temple was pretty, but the only thing to view in it is a large statue of Buddha. I thought we were going to the top of Diamond Head, but it was a lookout below Diamond Head. I recommend carefully reading the tour description. If offered this tour again, I would not select it. read more

Definitely would recommend this locally owned tour company. The driver was incredible. He was not only a driver but a tour guide, entertainer, DJ, trivia master, real estate expert, and storyteller. He did a great job making this a fun trip for everyone aboard. I am very glad we chose to do a circle island tour on a smaller sprinter van instead of a large tour bus. I think it made the experience way better and more efficient getting on and off at the different spots. We got to meet cool people from all over the world and the tour guide did a great job at fostering a fun group environment amongst our little van crew. The various stops were all really great. I would not have thought to visit a lot of the locations we stopped at myself but every stop was unique and really cool. This was a really well planned tour and it's clear this is a tour company with a lot of expertise in crafting an awesome experience. If you have been reading reviews trying to find the best tour, just go ahead a book this one. I think it is top notch and a hidden gem. Also my favorite little extras: free ice cold water bottles available in the van, a fun little competition to win a free dole whip, free fish/swan food to use at the koi ponds at the temple, and a free pineapple at the end to take home! read more

Tyrone was the most amazing tour guide! I highly recommend this tour company for your around the island tour!

Anna, our tour guide, which also happened to be our driver was fantastic, she knew so much history and kept us all amused and informed was a delight. When we chose this particular tour from our hotel activity desk, they should have given us a more detailed description of the extent of each stop. There was definitely not enough time to do more than get off the bus, maybe look at a site then it was time to reboard. The only stop which did give extra time was for snorkeling which unfortunately we do not participate. read more

Be prepared for an all day excursion. Our tour guide was Ryan. He is very knowledgeable about the island and culture and also versed in other cultures as well. Ryan talks the WHOLE excursion, so be prepared to listen and engage. He makes it a point to add personal touches and he's certified in Instagram photography and videography ;). The van is okay, very small and cramped. I initially thought this was a +, but if does get claustrophobic and the motion sickness knocked a few times. I would recommend this sort of accommodation with a large group not necessarily parties of two. Also because we were last on the pickup list we were split. There was also no fresh air because the windows don't go down. The tour is exactly as described. Many stops and many "and over on the left" and "over on the right" but there's a large part of the island covered. I left all stops were appropriate timing, none of the stops felt rushed or dragging. The snorkeling gear provided did not have a good seal, but fortunately I was able to switch with other snorkeler. You will see sea animals, no turtles, and the rocks are pretty sharp. I actually cut my foot. Highly recommend swim shoes. Be prepared to be exhausted on return. Overall worth it, would prefer different vehicle. read more
