Loved this tour! Our guide Piilani (sorry if I didn't spell that correctly) was amazing. She was very accommodating for bathroom stop requests and overall highly entertaining and a sweet person. Our group loved this tour! read more

Anna was a fantastic guide. She is extremely knowledgeable, personable and very accommodating. The van, however, was a bit run down, not very comfortable and difficult to get into and out of when sitting in the back. Overall good experience but room for improvement read more

It was my first time visiting Oahu and was interested in seeing the island. I came across an advert in a tourism magazine and decided to book this tour online which was super easy. The afternoon before the tour, they contacted us to give us an idea of what to expect in the morning and who our tour guide would be the following day. We were super lucky because we got paired with one of the greatest tour guides for ever, Trey! He was kind, extremely knowledgeable, funny, abundantly patient with our diverse group, and taught us a wealth of information about the history, sights, and culture of Hawaii. The tour features spots such as the Green World Coffee and Macadamia Nut farms, Dole Plantation, Turtle Bay Beach (with the coolest option ever to snorkel!). We saw Jurassic Valley, the North Shore, Chinaman's Hat, and so much more. I highly recommend this tour for first time visitors, adventure buffs, and those who appreciate a little bit of everything. The tour is an intimate size and Trey does a great job bringing the group together to create a Ohana for the day. He also had a cool, on-theme playlist of Hawaiian songs that had us dancing and singing the whole ride away. He is impeccable in his craft, I wish him all the success! Mahalo! :) read more

We took a full day tour of the north shore and had a great time. Small group size, knowledgeable and passionate guides all contributed to an awesome day. We were with Trey, who talked about a wide variety of topics and helped accentuate our experience of the island. We highly recommend going with these guys!! read more

From start to finish this tour was terrific. Our guide, PE, was wonderful. She called me the night prior and reconfirmed pickup time and location. When we came downstairs the morning of, she was waiting. The van was clean and well-equipped. Her dialogue the entire day was detailed and we thoroughly enjoyed her anecdotes. All the stops were fun, and lunch was delicious. This tour provided the perfect overview of many hotspots, and I loved that we didn't have to worry about navigating in an unfamiliar destination. I would 100% recommend this tour and suggest you request to book with PE! Mahalo! read more

Felt very rushed didn't have enough time for all the stops were made. Would've been better to make less stops and be able to spend more time at the stops. The pineapple plantation we barely had time to pick up ice cream and souvenirs. We had only 50 minutes to shop. There's no way you could do. Both was very disappointing. was not relaxing or enjoyable at all. read more

Perfect way to spend the day in Oahu and get a lay of the land. This tour hits many of the sites around the island and is a great way to get acclimated when you arrive. My husband was skeptical to spend 10 hours on a tour but we both loved it and would do it again. The guide was awesome and it was the perfect day! read more

Just shy of a 5 star rating, the 14 passenger van was very cramped for 8+hours. Other than that, the tour was amazing. Trey was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour. read more

Awesome tour! Trey was the best! He is very knowledgeable and entertaining, kept us tuned in the whole time. He did not go off a script but shared all his knowledge instead which made it more interesting and tailored his stories to the group. He also added a stop at a coffee farm which everyone appreciated. While we were on a schedule he was not strict about it and made sure we enjoyed each and every stop. I saw other tours where it seemed like they were being rushed. This was also a smaller group, 12 people so was more intimate. High recommend this tour. Mahalo, Trey! read more

The tour was great, Anna our driver was fantastic, full of good energy, explains the island and its history very well. The tour around the island, I recommend this be done on the very beginning of your trip, this way you which spots you want to come back to. This worked out great, we were a family of 13! It was a pleasure meeting you Anna. read more

I highly recommend this tour. As a first time visitor and with only a few days to enjoy, this is a tour one must do to get to know the island. Nehir was very friendly and told us as much history as she could about the places we visited. This is a great tour to sample all the things that there is to do. read more

Tyronne was an excellent tour guide giving us the best description of the various hot spots on the island. Very funny and personable and the tour always entertaining. Definitely recommend this tour bus company for your touring pleasure! Plus you get a pineapple at the end of your tour! read more

Exceptional experience all around! Highly recommend! We chose this activity as our first day outing on the island to help us get a "lay of the land" and help inform our choices for the rest of our stay on Oahu. Our guide was Hawai'i Ryan and he regaled our bus with a lot of great stories, history and anecdotes. Very friendly and conversational and skilled at including everyone on the bus of all ages. He kept our group on time at each stop and we were able to make a couple of decisions about where to stop headed on the group's interests and information Ryan had from other operators. The shuttle bus is on the smaller side and some seats are in the middle. But this tour is less about the drive and more about the stops you take along the way so there were no complaints from our group. Bottled water on board and complimentary pineapple a very nice touch. We also really appreciated the very nice condition of the snorkeling gear that was provided to us. Note there are a handful of scheduled stops for bathrooms throughout the day. Thank you Ryan and Pineapple EXP! read more

Our Oahu tour on Pineapple Express with tour guide Anna was truly exceptiona!! Over 40 years of visiting the Islands and having taken dozens of tours throughout the years, this was our absolutely best experience. In large measure, our tours great success was due to Anna's thorough knowledge of the history, geography, flora, fauna and culture of the Islands. Anna is an outstanding representative of your company and, indeed, the whole state of Hawaii!! read more

This was an absolutely amazing experience. Tyrone was the best guide. Our driver Hawaiian Ryan was awesome. He shared a lot of personal stories and made the tour very enjoyable for my whole family. He also took great pictures of our family during all the stops. I would definitely recommend the tour to everyone! read more

Our first time in Hawaii & we happened upon this treasure! Absolute blessing to have Ryan & Amy. Very kind, professional, prompt & witty folks! Definitely worth the 7am wake-up call. They took us on a circle tour all around Oahu & got to see all the classic sights. There was even a lunch & snorkel excursion afterwards, where I was lucky enough to encounter sea turtles! Ended up with a last stop @ the Dole Whip factory. Plus, Ryan gets bonus points for the tour's original soundtrack. (Jurassic Park + Hall & Oates!) The one downside to the tour is the (inevitable) rush-hour traffic at the end, but at least you'll have beautiful Honolulu to see out of the windows. read more

Tyrone was very knowledgeable and courteous to all the passengers needs. The 8 hour circle tour was well worth the price, but was a little difficult to enjoy in transportation when other passengers were upset because of seating arrangements. This tour was well organized. In fact, we got to enjoy lots of time at the beach and saw tons of great little places of Hawaii we'd never seen. I'd recommend this tour to anyone looking to get a better understanding of Hawaii and it's culture. My only complaints with this tour would be with Covid. There are some concerns with seating arrangements especially in a smaller van like the one we had, but also, my understanding was that we had a free dole ice cream? Nevertheless, it was all made up for with Tyrone's generosity by providing us free macadamia nuts and a whole pineapple! read more

Tyrone made this Circle Island tour lots of fun! Learned a few new things I didn't know and I've been to Hawaii so many times! Lunch was great! read more

Our tour guide Anna was amazing, personable, and very informative not only on the stops but also on what else was available to do on the island. The tour overall included a nice group of stops and none of the stops felt too long or uninteresting. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this tour. read more

The Oahu Circle Tour was enjoyable, as well as our bus driver, Trey. One pain point was the fact that the North Shore (Turtle Bay Resort) stop for snorkeling was not the best place to view turtles, as well as the fact that the weather was overcast and drizzling. This particular stop could've been shortened, if the bus driver would've taken a poll of the passengers to see if they actually were going swimming. I don't think anyone did, and there wasn't much to do at the resort except wander around and kill time. We could've spent that time at the other remaining stops. It would've been nice to have more time at the Dole Plantation and less time at the Macadamia Nut Store. It was very nice with the smaller group. read more

This was an amazing experience. Everyone in the family loved it. We were worried about the kids being able to last the whole day with out getting grumpy or angry. Thankfully this tour was amazing and kept them entertained and engaged. I absolutely loved every moment and so did the kids. Tyrone was amazing and really knows the island. We stopped so many places! Also between places he gave us a ton of information about the island from the best places to get food to the best beaches to surf, snorkel, see turtles etc. He pointed out so much information over the tour if I put it all here my review would be pages long! I would def do this at the beginning of your stay so you know where to go the rest of the time you are on the island! If you are in between this company and another I 100% say pick this one. The smaller group allows you to get to know your other group members and tour guide. Everyone I know who is even considering to come here will tell them this tour is a must!! read more

Thank you so much to Pineapple EXP & our amazing tour guide Tyrone! My family & I are back in CA now & we are still talking about how amazing our experience are thanks to this very tour. We felt like we traveled the whole Oahu in such a short amount of time without it feeling like it was rushed. The whole tour with Tyrone was super insightful, fun & most of all full of laughter. My family & I really got along with Tyrone. It felt like we've been knowing each other for a while so it made it even better. We felt so comfortable & cared for. As for the tour itself my personal favorite was definitely the Byodo Temple. I do wish the time was cut 50/50 on the location before going to Dole (which was where the Matsumoto shave ice shopping plaza) & Dole since we had 20mins at the shopping plaza w/way more to check out vs. 40mins at Dole's gift shop. Also we had a couple in our group that went on the train at Dole which they weren't supposed to, so the rest of us waited for them for almost an hour. I thought it was so inconsiderate of them but I've learned the hard way that not everyone thinks the same way. So....I think I can speak for other guests that Pineapple EXP should feel empowered to say so from the very beginning. Maybe the couple didn't know it would take them that long, I don't know but there should be rules to go over from the get-go 'cause not everyone is as nice & considerate as the locals =) read more
