I adore burdock and lotus roots. This had good flavor although sweeter than I would have preferred, and the veg was way too soft. However, it was a large portion for $10.50 and tasted healthy and heart warming. Ambiance? Most people are ordering take-out here although there are several tables at which to eat. The overall attitude and atmosphere at this location needs serious improvement. What really stood out to me was overhearing a female manager speaking to another table. I wasn't even the guest she was dealing with, but her attitude and the way she communicated with them was uncomfortable enough that I noticed it from my own table. As a guest, you shouldn't have to personally be involved in a situation to recognize poor customer service. Management sets the example for the entire team, and professionalism matters, especially when other guests can hear and see how situations are being handled. A friend was right this place doesnt care about their guests its just a easy paycheck i guess. I gave Mililani another chance, but after this experience, I don't plan on coming back. I'll continue going to Waikele, where my experiences have been much better.
