Unbelievable coffee and amazing pastries. We went twice while in Kauai and loved it. The shop is minimalist and modern. The espresso machine is so cool. The fresh pastries are worth the flight, drive or run. We actually ran to this location one day and tried all the pastries! read more

Yummy coffee, perfect fuel for adventures around the South/West side of the island. Super modern (minimalist) interior so there isn't much seating but the staff were friendly and the coffee was better than other places I've visited on the island. Aloha is awesome 5 stars! Im calling out what could be "The best croissant on Kauai". The obvious love and made in house baked good is top notch. It's not easy to bake such lite and flaky goodness into such a humid climate. But Aloha has figured it out. 5 stars. The related local and traditional flavored croissant options you have to buy as well. I made the right decision to buy one of each. The scones are equally good and not as heavy as most scone. Flavors like BACON, how can you go wrong?. 4.25 stars. These guys are a lot of fun and obviously enjoy working here. 5 Stars for customer service. I really came for an item I saw from earlier posts... Bring the family, I'm coming back! read more

Phenomenal pastries and coffee at very reasonable prices. It truly doesn't get any better than this. Highly recommend the Kouign Amman (caramelized sugar croissant pastry) with macadamia nuts and the chocolate croissant - they're buttery perfection. read more

Best croissants and cruffins on Kauai (sorry midnight bear) super friendly staff and fast coffee .

Fyi - this review is mainly for South Indians missing their filter coffee. Tried only latte since their baked goods are not available this week. I am a south Indian who loves her filter coffee. It is very hard for me to like coffee in this country. Even the latte you get in this country does not stand a chance compared to south Indian filter coffee. So when my husband got an aloha roastery's latte made with caramel (to sweeten), I was hesitant to try it. He insisted and I am glad I tried. Their latte didn't disappoint me. It was quite good. I usually get a headache if I don't drink some coffee around 2pm. I am glad to find this place during our stay on the island. I tried latte at a couple of other places on the island and I happily suffered through my headache instead of drinking their lukewarm tasteless latte. So if you are a south Indian who wants something close to filter coffee, definitely try aloha roastery's latte! read more

My favorite coffee shop to visit in Kauai because their mac nut mocha is so good. It's really pretty inside. The central location is very convenient. We adopted a dog from the humane society during our trip & they let him sit with us inside which was really kind and a memory we will never forget. read more

Quick, friendly service. Delish coffee! I got the iced mac nut americano, and it was perfectly sweetened! I could still taste the coffee, which isn't common these days. read more

Very good coffee and bangin' blueberry muffin. They do pour over, which can be hard to find.

This place is really fortunate that they have absolutely amazing coffee and baked goods because I echo the other reviews here. The service is literally as bad as it gets, not sure why everyone is in such a bad mood there. I guess it's worth it to put up with to get the amazing coffee lol. read more

I stopped by here earlier today with my wife for our morning coffee. We were drawn to Aloha Roastery because they are roasters. The inside of this place felt bright and clean with a coffee bar to order your drinks, some pastries off to the side and then seating around the perimeter. The place was hopping and while we were there, quite a few people were in and out which was impressive. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with a latte and the pastries were calling me as well and so my wife and I decided to split a plain croissant and a cheddar bacon scone. Our pastries were handed to us immediately and I had to wait a few minutes before I had my latte and was out the door. The first item that I tried was the bacon and cheddar scone. It was crumbly but delicious as you could really taste the bacon in every bite and the ones where you got the cheese were nice too. Once I had finished that I started in on the coffee. It was also good as it had the perfect ratio of milk to coffee where you could still taste the rich coffee. Lastly was the croissant which was flaky and buttery, exactly what you want in a croissant. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and I enjoyed both pastries that we had as well as the coffee. read more

Great vibe, Brilliant coffee (one of the best I had in Hawaii), Decadent croissant, Chill vibe, Aesthetically pleasing decor. Can't wait to go back! read more

Not my favorite coffee while in Kauai. We had been using yelp all week to find the best place, which led us here. Not a bad cup of coffee...just not on the level of other places we had been to that week. We ordered a latte and a mocha so maybe we just weren't ordering the right thing. Just seemed like mostly milk and not as much coffee flavor in the latte as I like. read more

The coffee here was so good we came here twice on our trip! We even bought some beans to go. We tried the vanilla latte as well as the mac nut latte which were both delicious. The employees here are nice and I love the vibe of the place. Kind of hipster but also modern. There is plenty of parking in the lot. I wish they had a cap I could buy but they only had shirts and cups. read more

Iced Mac nut oat latte was great, but only has one espresso shot (not ideal for avid coffee connoisseurs). The kouign amanns are delicious with a nice mac nut surprise. Quick service and clean establishment. Not a lot of indoor seating, but great for to go orders. read more

Americano was great. I was a bit confused as to why they don't have drip/batch coffee (ie, only pour overs, which are lovely, but take 10+ minutes). I'm rating 3 stars, because service was not friendly at all. October 2023. read more

I'm glad that this place exists. There are not too many places in Hawaii, let alone in Kawaii that serves quality specialty coffee. They are a relatively new business. This location just opened up when I went there, it looks like that people were just starting to get familiar with the operations. This location is located in a strip mall, towards the end of the lot. There are plenty of parking available both in the parking lot itself as well as on the street. I ordered a shot of espresso and a cap. The espresso was delicious! It was smooth, nutty, notes of chocolate and berries. Not at all under-extracted sour or over-extracted in bitterness. The temperature of the cap wasn't overly hot, just right. I hate that some baristas do know know bringing the milk past 140 is not really enjoyable and can start scalding the milk. read more

mocha sweet like candy. "wow, this is sweet, any way I can desweeten this some" "no" "no? not, sorry we make ours a bit sweet, I can add a little more milk if you like...." trash service. read more

Aloha Roastery is a trendy, clean, and modern coffee shop with delicious coffee options. If you truly like the taste of bold, rich, and deep coffee this is the stop for you! If you're hoping for more light roast, heavy fruit syrup style coffee then you better look elsewhere! Staff was friendly, and helpful! They helped us find a few local spots after for some baked goods (they sold out of theirs by the time we stopped in, unfortunately as I bet they're delicious!). read more

Ordered a cortado and it was on point. Espresso was rich and nutty and the milk was the perfect temperature. I am kind of over third wave coffee shops that steam milk to a practically lukewarm temp. This was NOT that. The vibe is super chill with a short and sweet menu - definitely the best coffee in Kauai I've tried thus far. read more

Came for the aesthetics, stayed for the coffee. Starting the day off on vacation with a nice iced latte is essential. Their macadamia nut iced latte was so delicious! Best Kauai brew. I'm talking pour-over. Chem-Ex used here. Nice toast, Kauai beans, chocolate with nice complexity of some cedar, red berries, and a hint of smoke...not at all dark and smoky though. If you want that, look elsewhere. Thoroughly enjoyed- I've had some pretty mediocre coffee on this island, so thank you for raising the bar!! Support them if you are in the area and you will be rewarded with deliciousness. read more

I went a few years ago and wasn't too impressed (I think it's because I didn't know very much about coffee) I went back yesterday and I'm going back again today! Haha I love this spot more than Java Kai and of course Starbucks. The espresso was so smooth, and the flavoring wasn't too sweet but just right. The baked good were just unreal! read more

Best cappuccino on the island and the coffee prices are excellent! Small place, clean, quick and professional.

Over our vacation we came to this coffee shop TWICE! After trying numerous other places this is our fav on the island. The lattes are strong, creamy , and consistent! Amazing cruffins, great coffee and best tea I've ever had! Definitely worth the visit.

Second time here and doesn't disappoint. They are a very small coffee shop that has kinda plenty people in the mornings. We only found out about them when we were working and we seen their sign. We had no idea that there was even a coffee shop there so we decided to check them out the next day. We had an americano and vanilla latte, which was good. We also had a blueberry muffin and not sure what the other thing is called, but it was delicious. The prices are cheaper than other specialty coffee shops that we've been to. Definitely will be back again to try some of their other baked goods. read more
