8/19/22 this is such a cute cafe. The decor is minimalist and the menu is simple. I like that there's seating available to dine in. You can sit in 2 opposite corners if your group is larger than 2. Or there's bar stool seating along the glass windows. After landing in Lihue around 7:00am, we headed straight here for coffee. There was already a crowd. Sadly, their cruffins were already sold out at this time because someone had come in earlier and bought them all. But I ended up getting a Kouign Amann which was delicious and flakey. I highly recommend. Compared to Kona Coffee Pourveyors Kouign Amann at $5-6, theirs was a steal at $3.50 My hot cappuccino was excellent also. Everyone in my group enjoyed their drinks and pastries. The workers were friendly and worked hard to get the drinks out. They also have some cute merch and bags of beans for sale. Check this place out! read more

Recently, I find myself looking forward to early work mornings as I make my way in, knowing that I will stop off here each day that I am on-island. The drinks and pastry offerings are not abundant, but they are all fantastic. They definitely focus on quality rather than quantity. Delicious products will get me in the door, but service will keep me returning. The employees are always kind and welcoming. And... lastly, I love supporting local small business. My go-to drink is their hot matcha latte with honey and the addition of charcoal. Not to sweet. It's my goldilocks of drinks... that I find myself usually walking away with 2 drinks. Minimalist, modern, mouthwatering. Mmm... I've been in here several times to support local small business, but I've failed to post a review. I love that they roast their own beans and have pastries (they're gone with the lunch rush, usually wiped out by noon!). The menu is succinct like most local small batch roasters and cafes. The Kouign Amann is one of the best, most delicious pastries I've ever eaten! It is flaky like a croissant but with a carmelized and crisp exterior and a small amount of marzipan filing. The other day we were able to snag a delicious blueberry muffin as well. I tried a Mac Nut Latte with almond milk both iced and hot and they were both on point. The matcha tea is great too! Grabbed my last macadamia nut latte here on our way to the airport - it's fairly close by, making it a convenient stop for local coffee right before or after a flight. This location is on the small side in terms of available seating but there is plenty of parking. Probably best for takeout orders. If you go outside, the kitchen area where the pastry chef works has a window so you can watch the goodies being made, which is a nice touch. The latte I got here was okay but not great, not particularly strong but very smooth. If you see the kouign amanns in stock, grab a few! read more

One of my favorite coffee spots I visited during my trip and conveniently located near the airport. Everything's reasonably priced and would definitely recommend coming here for your coffee fix. They also serve a small selection of fresh pastries baked in-house! Just make sure to get there earlier before they run out. Got an iced Mac Nut Latte (w/ almond milk) and I liked that it didn't taste too sweet and had a strong coffee taste. You do get a slight nuttiness, but I didn't really get much macadamia flavor specifically. Still really good though and I'd order this again. Their Iced Beige was also really good if you're in the mood for a sweet drink. It's an iced caramel latte that's blended until super smooth. So pretty much a much better frappuccino. The only non-dairy substitution available is almond milk for an additional $0.50. Lactose-free milk is available as an option as well. read more
