When she returned 30 seconds later, she assumed that I was demanding for faster service so she snapped at me and rudely said something like "You need to wait for your turn, there's a line of people waiting in front of you!" But like... I literally just wanted to get my receipt? After that, I went to another stall at the Quakertown farmers market to get drinks so my sister picked up our food instead. However the owner greeted my sister with glee and politeness. I'm wondering if the fact that I'm visibly non-heteronormative has something to do with this difference in treatment?
