Cute place in the trolley barn. I had the black garlic ramen and it was amazing! It was ready fast and was nice and hot.

Takki had a great spot in the trolley barn market. Portions are generous and the food is delicious! One of the best ramen spots around.

When I ordered and asked questions, the owner would only reply "mhm" with that stoic, pissed-off expression. After paying she just left without handing me the receipt so I waited for her to return. When she returned 30 seconds later, she assumed that I was demanding for faster service so she snapped at me and rudely said something like "You need to wait for your turn, there's a line of people waiting in front of you!" But like... I literally just wanted to get my receipt? After that, I went to another stall at the Quakertown farmers market to get drinks so my sister picked up our food instead. However the owner greeted my sister with glee and politeness. I'm wondering if the fact that I'm visibly non-heteronormative has something to do with this difference in treatment?

Teriyakis, katsu, ramen, tempura and udon. The gyoza were okay but greasy. I ordered spicy beef with vegetable it had a nice flavor but very glurpy and salty with not much spice. My friend ordered a tempura dish with this sweet sauce on it, wasnt that bad but tempura was greasy and soggy.. that's all we tried..not a big fan, sad to see any family business go but when it's time time..

The servers took great care of us as first-time customers. We both ordered their delicious bubble tea (Japanese matcha and strawberry). My girlfriend got a double-order of their spring rolls, which she loved. I was presented with their Seafood Lobster Hi-Top and it was spectacular! The dish reminded me of a Vietnamese Fao meal and came loaded with an array of seafood: mussels, clams, lobster, shrimp, squid, octopus, fish, fishballs, and three types of mushrooms. I also asked for medium spicy and it was spot-on. The meal was absolutely delicious. We both took food home and it was amazing the next day. We cannot wait to return to this amazing restaurant and we hope you get a chance to visit and taste for yourselves!

This time around was no different. I started with the noodle wrapped shrimp and Karaage chicken. The shrimp are deep fried and topped with spicy mayo and Okinawa sauce. The chicken is also fried and topped with sweet and spicy gochujang sauce. The Karaage chicken is my favorite item on the menu. I tried the spicy miso ramen last time. This time I went with the tonkotsu ramen. It's made with pork broth, ajitsuke tamago, chashu, bamboo shoots, scallions, nori, narutomaki, and black garlic oil. My friend ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl. She liked it so much the first time she had to order it again. Service left much to be desired. Our server didn't introduce himself, ask how any of the food was, or crack a single smile. I would have rather ordered from a counter and just sat myself. Pickup and delivery are both available.
