Never did Cesar acknowledged my wifeor someone ever said that he was running late if she would like to continue to wait. My wife waited for 20min before walking out! This is my second visit here. First visit I didn't get service as there was a two hour wait. I made an appointment this time. Appointment was at 10 and I didn't get done until a few minutes after 1. I got a gel pedicure and gel fill-in done. I appreciate the precision but thankfully I had no other plans today. My nails came out great and I'd definitely come back again. Only if I have no plans...as that was very time consuming. Over my nails look lovely. (Besides the one crocked nail that I "supposedly had already" which wasn't true. Be careful as sometimes they get a little file happy and file away stuff that can't be easily fixed.... if that didn't happen 4 stars would have been my rating. First off- the pedicure was half done, maybe lasted 5 minutes before he put polish on my toes- there is nail polish off my nails, it looks so messily done. If I could give this place 0 Stars I would... This place has so many clients that they will treat you like a number. They use the drill to take off your gel polish. I have real nails and they completely damaged my real nail after I asked them not to use the drill and their response was they were busy and the drill is faster. The customer service is horrendous for first time customers. I only came because my girl comes here and gave me the referral. She has been going here for years, but if they don't know you or I guess no how you tip than they don't care. Will not be coming here again! If you want to go to a great nail salon with great service go to AJ Nails. Check out their reviews if you don't believe me. I got my nails done here over the weekend. Two days later, one nail started to chip. I went back to have it fixed real quick (something I normally do at other nail salons). I sat for over an hour before asking if it would be my turn soon. The front desk said that I had to keep waiting until there were no more customers. I asked if I could make an appointment for the next day but, again, the receptionist said that they wont make appointments for a single chipped nail, I would have to wait again. Made an appointment for 3 people for a pedicures at 130 pm. Waited for 40 minutes in water that went cold. Finally one person comes over to start as the rest of us waited 10 and 15 more minutes..., I cancelled mine while my son and his friend got theirs. He was done while she just got hers started. When I sat down to get them filled Timmy explained to me that they were lifting and that it would be damaging to fill them in. Disappointed, he took them off and placed a new french set on my nails. He was fast, and omg they look amazing!!! Im serious it might be the best french full set I've ever gotten. If you are looking for an acrylic full set this is your place! I use to love this place, but I recently brought my daughter in with me to get a pedicure and I was seated with Caesar. Caesar gave me the worst experience ever. He was very unprofessional with being on his phone vs doing my pedicure, as well as talking inappropriately to his coworker in front of my 12 year old daughter accompanied with showing half naked pictures of a female to where my daughter and I could see. He made my 12 year old daughter very uncomfortable with the way he was speaking. Caesar was also rushing my daughter and I to pick out a color and did not give us to to look at all of the options, and then did not demonstrate amiable customer service while doing the actual pedicure. So annoying when you make an appointment for 2:00 and your tech is working on a client and is only halfway done with them. Lou is great and I love his work so I waited for him but I have to say that the receptionist really sucks. She acts like she could care less. About anything. She quit a few weeks ago and I was kinda glad because her attitude is pretty awful. Everything seems like it's such a chore for her and she's really put out by having to do it - I guess that's why her other job at Twin Peaks didn't work out - I'm willing to bet they couldn't stand her demeanor either. Visited this shop because i was desperate to get my eyebrows cleaned up for family portraits the following day. The eyebrow artist i usually visit was booked so i decided to give this place a try, a decision i deeply regret. I asked the woman who did my eyebrows to clean them up, with very minimal hairs taken off because I am working on reshaping my brows. Apparently what the clients want means absolutely nothing because she completely reshaped and thinned my eyebrows. I have not had eyebrows this thin since i was in high school. They didn't mention the additional cost when I asked so it was surprising but ok...the part that got me was the $15 nail art charge...if it was actually a design I wouldn't mind but to get silver glitter and brush it on the tip on 4 fingers doesn't really seem to be "nail art" that needed a $15 charge...$5 ok, but $15 is insane...it would have also been nice if they would have mentioned it would be $15 just for that...if I wanted to pay the $15 nail art fee I would have definitely given an actual design request that would have required some work amd skills rather than just dabbing on a little silver glitter gel. If you're concerned on price, just be sure to ask about all the details because it adds up. My new favorite nail tech has to be Lou? That's what he told me his name was. He's funny, has great stories if you're up for it, his technique is on point, and his pedicure massages are amazing. I got my eyebrows and lip waxed here. They were done well. But, if I could leave negative stars, I would. She was very inconsiderate and rude. She said "why did you let them grow out so bad?" Several times. She also told me she felt bad for me because they're so thick, made a comment about a mole in my eyebrow, and so on and laughed at me the whole time. First I will start out by saying my nails are beautiful and I am happy with them; However, I'm not so impressed with the professionalism or better yet respect for my personal time. keeping in mind that I am a paying customer line everyone else, I was not necessarily thrilled to have my nail artist continuously stop working on my nails to do designs on other customers. Each time I waited for my nail tech to do these designs for people it was at least an extra ten mins of my time. The second time this happened (he stopped to work on someone else) he told me that the acrylic needed to dry ... in 15 years of getting my nails done I've never been told that the acrylic that goes over the plastic tip needed to dry, and this was an obvious justification for him to slide over and do nail designs on others. additionally, how and why did my daughters nails (hands and feet) cost $58.00 and my full set was 40$!??? She literally just had then painted. lastly, I asked the person doing my pedi for a traditional pedi (as listed on their "menu" so to speak) and was charged for a sea salt pedi. I'd absolutely love to recommend this business, as my nails are beautiful, but I am unsettled and disappointed by the inconsistencies in pricing and the lack of respect for my time and my dollar. I'm just very disappointed to have spent the amount if money I did for the service I received. I wish them the best and would like to give them another shot but I just don't know. If I could leave negative 5 stars I would. I called them when they opened to see about a possible appointment. Knowing there probably wouldn't be openings. They didn't have anything until 2 o'clock. However, the lady I spoke with, who also worked the front desk said, "It would be a lot quicker just for you to do a walk in." So I did just as she recommended. I arrived at 11:30 and I knew we'd have a 45 minute wait. After an hour of waiting we checked to see about how much longer and we were told we'd be next in 10 minutes. Long story short we ended up leaving and going to NC Nails down the road because our total time wasted was an hour and 40 minutes. This Aloha Nails overcharged me on a acrylic/pedicure for my daughter and I... What would have normally cost me $50 for both of us at Foxy Nails ended up costing me $199 at Aloha. I don't know why it cost me so much. I guess that is why they were able to afford the new expansion update on their business... cheating people out of their hard earned money. Make sure you get the exact of your services and make sure they don't grind your nail-bed down too much. Have them use a nail file no the electric nail grinder. They ruined my nail-bed. I always give a salon two chances. I called ahead to make sure they had time, 30 minutes she said. 30 minutes later I arrived, needles to say the waiting time was a lie. After sitting around for another 30 to 40 minutes picking out different colors and what not I was called. The staff started working on my nails, disappeared came back for another minute then vanished again. Another staff member had to come and finish his job because mine had started on another client.. From there it went ok, I love the colors I am less happy with the nails. But it was my own fault for not wearing contacts, when I put them in I could see how not symmetrical the nails were, you would think for the price they would at least get that right.
