We ordered a small with the natural flavors Passion Fruit, Lychee, and Tiger's Blood, along with Coconut Roselani ice cream. The ice was incredibly fine and soft throughout, and the consistency was on par with Ululani's. Service was also great, and the recommendations were spot-on. Would definitely recommend this place. To be honest, we probably would have come every day if we had tried it sooner, haha. Note: You can choose up to three flavors. There is a slight upcharge for a snow cap or ice cream.

Located in a corner of the Maui Swap Meet lies the best shave ice we had while on our trip there…read more Maui Girlz Shave Ice is an unassuming food truck serving cold, flavorful shave ice for cheap, which is a great treat to have while walking around the sprawl of tents in the market. To get to this truck you have to enter the market which has good parking availability and only costs 25 cents to enter. Even if you're not interested in what the swap meet has to offer, the trip and cost of admission are still worth it to have some. We had the POG with a snow cap and a strawberry with a snow cap and absolutely loved the taste. The ice has a great powdery texture and the syrup soaks right into it with ease. The rest of our group got a whole bunch of different flavors and everyone was extremely happy with what they got. The service was quick and there's a small seating area with a tent so you can cool off. The best part of all of this is the pricing. You would think for $4 each you would be getting some average tasting shave ice but no, this shave ice was phenomenal. Maui is a place where prices can be high just for it being, well, Maui, so we greatly appreciate a good deal when we see it. Altogether a 10/10 experience, we greatly recommend it!

They don't have any hot food items like the rest of the food trucks, but cater moreso to those that would like beverages and cold treats. They've got soda, water, shave ice, coffee, and ice cream. I grabbed a cookie monster shave ice one day after spending the day at the beach to treat my little one. It was your pretty standard shave ice and I could taste a bit of the oreo flavor, but it could've used a little more syrup. Other than that, my little guy enjoyed it. I've been really into espresso floats lately and I noticed they had a coffee float available. I simply can't resist coffee and ice cream. Mmmhmmm, it's totally a thing and I was stoked to see it on their menu! What I appreciate is that they use Maui Oma Coffee, a local coffee company that sources quality beans from around the world and in Hawaii. The coffee float itself was pretty good. I would've liked a bit more sweetness, but overall, I would get it again as not many offer it on their menu in town.

I got the small lychee shave ice, which was incredible, and topped with coconut condensed milk. My friends also got POG juice and coconut water -- both refreshing! The worker was a lovely gentleman who was very easy to talk to and just a positive person overall.

If you're going to get a shaved ice in Hawaii you HAVE to get it from Ululani's! Their ice is incredible it's the perfect soft finely shaved ice base for the syrup flavors of your choice. I always get the more adventurous flavors I know I'm only going to find in Hawaii like li hing mui, pickled mango, and passion orange (POG vibes). Get the macadamia ice cream in the middle and thank me later because it's life changing. Their mochi topping is also pillowy soft and perfectly chewy if you're into that. My friend got a more mild but still adventurous flavor combo of green tea, ube, and coconut and said it was delicious too. You can't go wrong w any flavor here. This location was inside an aquarium so a little bit harder to find but not too bad. You can just check in at the front to get in for food/retail shopping only without having to buy aquarium admission to get in. Plenty of seating and service was fast! Their merch is also super cute they have stickers, magnets, and shirts with their iconic shaved ice character on them! I'll definitely continue to stop by an Ululani's for my Hawaiian shaved ice fix everytime I'm in Hawaii!

Five Stars - A Sweet Maui Treat Worth Returning For!…read more This was our family's first visit to Tobi's Shave Ice, and it definitely won't be our last! As first-timers, I asked the staff for a recommendation and decided to trust their expertise. Great decision. I ordered the High Surf, and it was absolutely delicious--refreshing, flavorful, and exactly what you want after a day in the Maui sun. One of my daughters chose to add soft serve underneath her shave ice, which was a combination I had never tried before. It sounded unusual at first, but after a few bites, I completely understood why it's so popular. The creamy soft serve paired perfectly with the light, fluffy shave ice. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help us navigate the menu. Their enthusiasm added to the experience and made us feel right at home. Beyond the shave ice itself, the atmosphere was part of what made this stop special. Sitting outside in a charming small-town setting with a relaxed island vibe made it feel like more than just a dessert stop--it was an experience. The shave ice was fantastic, the service was great, and the overall vibe was exactly what we hoped for during our Maui visit. We're very happy we gave Tobi's a try and would absolutely return the next time we're on the island. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!
