Complete DISASTER! Poor quality! Rude! Insulting! In 3 months I tied this business in hopes they improve after first and second tries, 30% of items were cleaned poorly and I kept requesting to clean them again. Another 15% (white clothes items) were coming back with yellow stains on spots where I didn't have stains before. So much time got wasted on driving returning poorly cleaned things! The deal breaker, however, was the leather cleaning event. I brought a top notch designer leather jacket and leather pants for cleaning. They took those to pass to another cleaner. When I came back for pick up, luckily, I decided to check how well those were cleaned. The jacket looked as dirty as it was originally and my leather pants were ripped off on a butt and had two dark liquid drops. I practically cried! Instead of an apology, the store manager told me that it is how I brought those pants to them. When I started telling him how dare he was to tell such things to me, making me pay for the service while hiding the damage to the pants, he finally said that they will figure out something. They said that they have an insurance and if it doesn't work, they will give me store credit of at least $800 because pants were not new. The new pants cost is ~$2K if I want to buy the same brand. The whole story was drugging on for 2 months and I visited the store multiple times just to hear that they were still trying to resolve the issue. At some point I demanded to talk to the owner. They said that the owner told them NOT to give his contact information to me and that they are actually not responsible for anything. Since I have no receipt (why would I have it if I buy most of my clothes in Europe and I don't plan to return it back to the stores), they cannot file an insurance claim, besides, it is the other company damaged my pants, not them. They insisted that they are not liable for anything. When I asked the name of the company that damaged my pants, they refused to tell me the name either and said that they stopped business with them. At the end they told me NOT to come back because they could not help me. My next step was to file to the court. For that I need their UBI number which they also refused to provide. Sharing this information here in hopes that my story will save you from money loss and stress of dealing with unethical businesses. read more

On Monday morning of 7/18/22 I called Aloha to ask for an estimate on how much it would cost to bring in two curtains to be hemmed and how soon they could get it done. The man on the phone said he wasn't sure about the price until I brought them in and that they could get them done by Wednesday afternoon. Perfect. Upon arriving to the store a bit later that day, the man working said he couldn't believe that the person on the phone told me they would be done by Wednesday because it usually takes them a week. He made a few calls and was able to assure that they would be done by Wednesday. I asked him approximately how much this would cost me and he looked at the curtains but could not give me any insight into how much it would cost. The curtains are blackout curtains from target. They are 50"W 95"L. I paid $74 for the both. I needed them hemmed 11". I should have known right then that when he didn't give me an estimate this could be problematic, however I trusted him and saw another reviewer on yelp mention they paid around $20 for curtains to be hemmed so I figured mine would cost approximately $20-40 since mine were lined and there were 2 of them. When I arrived to pick up the curtains I thanked the man for getting them done so quickly and he made a snide comment like "yeah we should have charged you extra for doing them so quickly" which I felt was a little rude as I was very gracious and thankful and was planning on giving a great tip. (Plus the guy on the phone said this was do-able) When he said they were $105 I was shocked. I could have NEVER imagined this price. I asked him "$105? Are you serious? How could it be so much??" He briefly explained that alterations are expensive these days. I called 4 different alterations spots in the Eastside area and they all gave me a quote of a minimum of $20 and maximum of $50 for the curtains. While I am relieved to have my curtains done in time, this was so unexpected for me and I would have really appreciated it if they could have given me some insight into how much this would cost beforehand. I paid way more for the alterations than the actual curtains. I will be taking my business elsewhere next time as I feel he took advantage of my naivety read more

Great service and friendly staff. They pickup and deliver. Much cheaper than other Bellevue locations

I decided to try out this service because the one I used for 23 years closed due to retirement of owners. So in 2 months period out of 18-20 things they cleaned, 8 things had to be re-cleaned again. White things had yellow stains after cleaning or were not cleaned fully and dresses with sweat spots under arms still smelled sweat and looked dirty. Only after the second attempt and my complain they cleaned things well. The last batch again had issues and I realized that only when I checked items at home. So I returned 3 things at hangers for cleaning a couple of days later, they accepted those, and when I returned to pick those up a week later, my fancy designer clothes were returned to me in a dirty bag all horribly wrinkled rolled together and the store manager framed me for lying about stains to take advantage of their free cleaning!! I was shocked and speechless!! In 23 years using another dry cleaning not a single time I returned anything to re-clean because things were cleaned perfectly and I was treated with respect. And here, not only I had to comeback twice to clean the same clothes (so much wasted time!), instead of apologies, they insulted me!! And when asking for the owners information, they decline to release it, saying that their owner doesn't want to be disturbed and asked me never come again. Complete SHOCK!!! Never have I seen so unethical rude people dealing with customers! read more

I have been in this dry cleaners for 12 years and JOE have taken care of my clothes as if it his clothes. He is very respectful and kind and I can tell you many things but ,I would not be able to write them at this time Some people always look at the bad things but,we need to focus on the good things people do. I recommend this place 100% read more

If you want your clothing to be treated like this, go ahead. I brought my tshirt to this store for dry cleaning. The first time when I picked it up I noticed there were some many stains on the tshirt and I'm pretty sure they were not there before. The store staff offered to re-clean it and I agreed. Several days later I went to pick it up, a man who looks like the owner told me they were not able to remove the stain and he refused to admit it was their fault. He said he could try again, I said okay but let me take some pictures and we can compare it next time. Today, I went to pick up my tshirt the third time, the stains were still there. And I found some more stains. I pointed out the new stains and showed him the pictures I took the last time and he said it was the angle. I mean, what else can I say? See the last two pictures for comparison. That man still refused to admit it's their fault, and he offered me $20 store credit I refused because that's not going to be enough to cover the cost of my tshirt. Hey I don't need your $20 store credit, I need people to know how you treated my tshirt. read more

Fast and friendly service. 2 years and counting. Had an incident last year where they lost my coat but they offered to reimburse me for it. So far so good read more

I agree with Allan. I was Joe's customers for years and he always provided great service and remembered what I brought in. The new kid and the old guy are terrible! Since Joe left they have lost two of my pants. They will never get my business again! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE!!! read more

I don't have a heavy need for dry cleaners but when I do this place always comes through! I even brought a king-sized comforter here once and got it cleaned for a very reasonable price. Everyone is always polite and helpful, and of course it doesn't hurt this place is a minute from my house. 4 stars! read more

Guess what? Joe's back at Aloha cleaners! Maybe they saw the reviews...probably just lost a bunch of clients. Either way, hopefully Joe is there to stay! read more

I have been going to this dry cleaner for years and they always do great work and at a reasonable price. Joe greets me at all hours of the day and always has a smile. He must see a multitude of people but he treats me like an old friend. They definitely care. read more

I only need dry cleaning done occasionally, but this place is great. I've been meaning to write this review for over a year. They are quick & take extra care. I was apprehensive dropping my items off after an experience with a different dry cleaner who ruined several irreplaceable pieces. I mentioned my apprehension & was reassured they'd take great care. And they did. They've consistently provided great service on blouses, wool/alpaca/cashmere sweaters, ect. Highly recommend. read more

Very quick with the turn around and offer a great price per shirt. If you ask him (theres only one guy) to rush because you are going on a trip hes more then welling to help you out. If a botton goes missing its replaced. If you leave money or other item in your pocket its placed in a zip lock bag for you when you pick up cloths. read more

picked up a tablecloth, when I opened the wrapping, saw it was dirty, had food on it! Very disappointing

This was my first time using Aloha Dry Cleaners. I will definitely be returning. I wanted a king sized duvet ironed. The gentleman I spoke to over the phone quoted me a very reasonable price. The job was completed by the following day, exactly as requested, and even earlier than promised. The three people I spoke to coming and going were all very personable. All in all a great experience! read more
