Chocolate Ganache Lemon Lime pie

If you've been looking for the perfect pau hana spot that also doubles as an easy midweek date night... Aloha Beer Company is it. Right in town, it's got that laid-back local vibe where you can unwind after work, grab a few solid beers, and actually enjoy your night without feeling rushed. It's the kind of place you meet up "just for one" and somehow stay a couple hours. Big bonus (and honestly a game changer)... they're pup-friendly and even have a doggie menu. So now your date night or pau hana can include your four-legged ohana too. Food-wise, you definitely don't want to skip the burgers--juicy, flavorful, and exactly what you want with a cold beer. And the truffle mushroom pizza? That one hits. Rich, savory, and perfect for sharing... or not. Between the drinks, the food, and the relaxed atmosphere, this spot just makes sense. Easy recommendation whether you're catching up with friends, bringing a date, or just treating yourself after a long day.

Fish tacos, crispy pork belly

Updated review since Aloha Beer has been making so many improvements to their food menu! I come here often since I live close by. They had a menu update a while ago last year, adding things like salmon crispy rice and pork belly. More recently, there was another menu refresh so I took the opportunity to try it. We tried the mushrooms Rockefeller, ahi tataki, and BBQ sliders. I was SO impressed by the mushrooms which were a balance of creamy, salty, and sweet with their spinach dip and a tomato onion jam on top. Literally put this mushroom concoction on anything. I ate it with the sliders and it was amazing. I bet it would even be good on mac and cheese. The ahi tataki was perfectly seared and sliced into precise, thin pieces to absorb more of the ponzu sauce. We also love getting the pizzas here. Make sure to ask about the monthly special. Service is always friendly and efficient and the beers are solid. The vibe here has always been casual, brewpub food, but I feel like the new menu items really elevate the vibe of the place.

I love Aloha Beer. Every time I'm on the island, I make sure to stop by. Their beer is always on point, with a great variety from pilsners to IPAs and more. But I also really appreciate that they offer cocktails if you're not in the mood for beer (which was me last night). I went with the li hing mojito, and it was so refreshing, perfect for a humid night. The dried plum touch was everything I needed. For dinner, I had the fish and chips, and my husband got the salmon bomb bowl, both were good. I love their patio area, such a great place to hang out, especially in the evening. Even though it was rainy, it is half covered so we were all good there. Service great as always, everyone so friendly and welcoming to us They also have a really good happy hour, which we've taken advantage of in the past. Parking isn't too complicated either, which is always a plus. Great place to go if you're in Honolulu!

Aloha Beer is a dog friendly local brewery located in Kakaako. Weekends and nights usually has a vibrant crowd, this is my first time having lunch in a Wednesday and it was super low key, exactly what I was looking for. Everything I've eaten here has been decent over the years. Today I went with the happy hour sliders and subbed Caesar salad for the fries. Salad is good but was a little heavy in the dressing. The sliders were delicious! I added the sautéed mushrooms, a must. Service here is always great, I'll be back again!

Came in for drinks on a Saturday night. We parked in the valet area, which was $5 and not due on spot. Our valet driver told us that this charge will be added to our bill and we can pay inside. Made reservations via OpenTable and was seated outside. The crowd was pretty average at this time and it was not too busy. Service was great and quick. Our server checked in with us multiple times and got our food and drinks out quickly. All of their beers here are good and I tried the Mellow Waves, which was good! Love the vibes of this place because it is very chill. I also like that it's dog friendly, they even have a doggy menu. I would definitely come back here!

I've been here for dinner and did not enjoy my experience. For pau hana it was a enjoyable experience. My server was friendly and knowledgeable. She had great suggestions and very tentative. Even at 3p there was a good amount of customers. The dinning area just off from the bar is a pleasant spot for a meal. Only down thing is the noise from all the traffic passing by. The food and drink was awesome. I ordered Fruit Luke's beer and the happy hour sliders. I would have liked to have been able to have had a choice of sliders. The happy hour sliders are great but it would have been nice to have the option to select which sliders recipes from tje regular menu.

Was stoked when I could find Aloha Beer cans in the store since I moved off of Oahu but recently, their cans have been dented and the beer has been flat. I thought it might have been a bad batch but it's been like this for a couple months now. At $16 a six pack, it makes it hard to continue supporting.

October fest 2025!!! First time experiencing in Hawaii!! Pretzel was so fresh and hot and good!!! $35 breakdown is for jumbo glass $25 + beer $10! Unlimited refill for $10!!! Got a ruffle ticket to win prize!! Woohoo!! Loved ambience and services!! It was such a fun experience!

Over the past few months, I've had several cans of Hop Lei that were totally flat with no carbonization when I opened them. After passing this experience along to Aloha Beer, they quickly responded and confirmed that there was indeed a canning problem and that it had been fixed. They were extremely gracious and apologetic and made every effort to make amends. However, just this past week, I purchased another 6 pack and it had another defective can. I remain a big fan of their Hop Lei IPA but I think I will hold off from purchasing Aloha Beer for a few months until I can do so with confidence.

This unassuming place in Kakaako is phenomenal. Casual setting with indoor and outdoor seating. The servers are all super friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and I have loved every cocktail that I have tried here. In my opinion, food is best as shareables so you can sample more items. Everything was delicious. Another plus is they allow dogs onto their patio seating area. They even have pup bowls on the menu for the furry kids. Highly recommend this little gem!

I love coming to Aloha Beer Gardens! my sweet puppy Luna also loves the garden because it's furry friendly!!! There is a puppy menu and they even bring her own bowls which can be purchased as well! The whole restaurant is a treat to be in. The employees are great and the managers really know what they're doing. My favorite place in the restaurant is the beer garden. The ambience is relaxing and there is a lot of space and the artwork is beautiful. The food is delicious without offering the typical pub menu. I ordered barbecue chicken pizza - really good. The crispy rice cakes with salmon are to die for. The spinach artichoke dip is cheesy and delicious. They also have painting sessions in the front of the restaurant. The beer selection is another review- awesome selection

Xmas party with coworkers

Just some coworkers having a Xmas party. 5.00 valet upstairs, lots of parking. Chill place to hang out, or celebrate with friends, for us was our Christmas party. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Food came out hot and tasty. Restaurant is very casual, but I see you ca dress up if it tickles your fancy. Mini smash burgers was ok, the pizza, pretzel, and crispy chicken wings was on point. I will surely return for more laughs, cold beer, and good company. See you there peeps!

I was recommended the pulled pork sandwich by staff. I did not regret it. Best pulled pork sandwich I've had in a long time. Super delicious. Good value. Great beer. Friendly service. Cool patio to hang out at. If I lived here I'd come here all the time.

No wait for our party of 2, and we were sat immediately at a high top communal style table. It is a bar type establishment, with pour your own beers and wines on the wall. Not super noisy, but everyone was having their conversations and having a great time. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, and food walking past us looked amazing! The only difference to this establishment was instead of a server taking our order, we were instructed to go to the front podium to place the order when we were ready. We opted for the Fried Calamari with Cilantro Lime Aioli to start, and ordered the Chop Salad with Tofu and the Verde Bowl. The food came out so quickly, and we were actually surprised with the portion sizes for all the dishes. We were able to share the salad and bowl and still had enough to pack a take out box. Everything was delicious! I'm sure it can get busy on the weekends, but overall seems like a nice place to chill with good food, good drinks and good conversation. Wish we had more time to hang out!

He definitely knew how to entertain and captivate a crowd! I would speak about it more, but I can't give away the magician's secrets. My only complaint is that Lokahi Brewing fit us all into a pretty tight space on the second floor so it was a bit uncomfortable. 5/5 Yelp Stars for Matthew Singer. Unfortunately, Lokahi Brewing's food missed the mark for me. Their brews were not bad, but there are other breweries in town that I prefer over Lokahi. I tried 4 different ones, and my favorite was the FLOOR IS GUAVA. Here's all the food we got: LOKAHI NACHOS w/ BIRRIA MEAT ($23) [3/5] - Portion was decent for $23, but the chips ran stale and there was uneven distribution of cheese and toppings throughout the nachos. Literally, one side had all the cheese and toppings. The birria meat didn't really taste of the classic Mexican spices that makes birria so good, it felt more like pulled pork. It was also dry. FRIED PICKLES ($10?) [2/5] - This was SO SALTY. I didn't really taste the tang of the pickles, felt like it was squeezed out of all its juice. It was ultimately just chips with a ton of salt. I downed two cups of water trying to finish these. Ultimately, I would come back to Lokahi Brewing for their shows and a brew or two, but I'll eat at home or elsewhere first before coming.
