One tree was dead, the others were showing signs of age and a large root was growing towards the house. That, coupled with overgrown grass/weeds from recent rains was creating a nightmare scenario. Afraid the trees might topple onto our house we decided the time had come to remove the trees and give the yard a haircut. Out of a couple of estimates we received, Espitia's Tree Service answered my quote request in a timely manner, was able to promptly come by to make an assessment and proposal. The yard service was included as well as stump/removal. Alejandro explained the process, the options and time table. He kept us in the loop and I was quickly informed when timing had shifted a bit because a prior project was taking longer than expected. He then called me a Fucking Haole which was totally unnecessary, I was not being rude to him at all. This is totally unacceptable, I work in customer service and would of been fired on the spot, we did not want him fired but not allowed to stay at work or come back to the job. He was back the next day and the main guy Sergio said he was short handed, Not my problem, I spoke with other people that owned businesses and they all said the same thing, the employee would of been terminated.
