I paid Aloft Remodeling to date $27,000 for a kitchen remodel. If I didn't pay them $18,000 on May 6, 2025, I would have negotiated to be released from my contract for poor workmanship, and awful customer service. First visit remove old cabinets. Texture walls in that area. Tuff the helper did not know how to texture. So he brought a compressor and used spray on texture. It did not even come close to my existing walls. Then Tuff did not have a big enough truck to haul away my partial cabinets. 2 days later I had a flat tire and was stranded. I finally got to Discount Tire only to find a kitchen screw was in my tire. This was my first bad impression. Next visit was to deliver my long-awaited cabinets. Most of the bottom cabinets were damaged from dragging them on asphalt and I did not see a dolly or furniture pads to safely deliver them. Plus, the company should have had a large delivery truck to deliver my cabinets all at once. Another sign of a poorly run company. Next visit was to install my cabinets. Many more cabinets were damaged because Jonathan used a nail gun and he missed his target so many times resulting in more damage to my brand-new cabinets. Next visit was to install my backsplash. I was really worried because I did not feel confident that they could do the job. Well, the backsplash was a disaster, and they removed my tile and installed new drywall. I had to hire a tile company to install the new backsplash since they were unable to do a professional job. Last and final visit to install plumbing and pull outs. They refuse to return unless I pay them $3000. I don't owe them a dime and I expect to get $3,218.69 for receipts submitted and for a credit for the amount they charged me to do my backsplash. Stay away from this company. They are nasty to work with. They enjoy harassing people. They need to realize that they are the ones that are at fault not me. I can't even tell you the stress they have caused me. Plus, the days that I lost from their poor workmanship. I am approaching the 8 months. All I want is for them to step up and complete my job and refund me the amount mentioned above. Plus, I still have to live with my brand-new kitchen that is now old and damaged, and I have not even used the kitchen in 7 months. They should try living without a kitchen for 7 months. read more

I'll start by acknowledging that at one point in the process I was confused about the exact color expectation of how the bathroom would look. That being said, I repeatedly requested my contract -- over the phone, by email, and through voicemails -- and did not receive it until I attempted to cancel services, at which point the company made sure to remind me of their strict cancellation policy. My project began on July 29th, and at first communication seemed fine. On July 30th, the construction team arrived with a completely different product: marble subway tile with white grout, instead of the white subway tile with single-color grout that I expected. I immediately sent it back. The project manager told me they didn't even have what I originally ordered, but he'd "look into it." After a few back-and-forth calls -- many of which went unanswered -- I was told again that the original product was unavailable and that I should just accept what they sent. I asked for the contract. A few calls later, they suddenly "found" the product we originally ordered. I again asked for the contract. From August 1st-13th, I made multiple calls with no response. On August 2nd, I sent an email to the company about what felt like bait-and-switch practices, the lack of communication, and an abandoned project. No response. That same day, I emailed my salesman directly requesting the contract. No response. Weeks passed. On August 22nd, I finally reached someone by calling the main line, only to be told that our project manager had been fired for his lack of communication. No one had bothered to tell me. I was told I'd hear from the new project manager shortly. I didn't. I called again the following week, left another voicemail (and asked again for the contract), and finally got a call back. The new project manager apologized, explained it would be two weeks for materials, and promised to send me the contract. I asked again. A week later, I called again, and he promised me both the contract and a photo of the materials. I received the photo but no contract. At this point, the constant confusion about grout and tile had me second-guessing everything. When I asked to cancel, I suddenly received a call from my original salesman -- who, instead of addressing my concerns, immediately sent me the contract I'd been begging for all along. Not to clarify what I was getting, but to explain in detail why I would be charged thousands of dollars under their 33% cancellation clause if I walked away. That says everything you need to know about Aloft. They do not care about doing right by the customer -- they care about the money. They'll ignore your requests for documentation until you threaten to cancel, and then suddenly remind you how much it will cost you to get out. As I write this, I'm over a month without a bathroom in a house with three kids under ten. We've been down to one toilet, no tub, and constant stress -- all while being out nearly $12,000 for terrible service. The project is supposedly being completed this Friday, but based on how this has gone, I have little confidence. They boast about their warranty, but if this is their level of service, I'm not holding my breath on them honoring it. I will be having the shower independently inspected to ensure it even meets the standards for the price tag. In addition, I'll be filing complaints over their lack of transparency and their refusal to provide a working contract link or send the document despite dozens of requests. This has been irresponsible and unprofessional from start to finish, and I'll be making sure no one I know ever uses this company. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the nightmare -- go elsewhere. UPDATE: My project was completed. The second project manager was fired and it appears they forgot I was supposed to have my shower done. They scrambled to get a team out (installers were great). They did however forget to order our shelves so we had to wait for that to be done the following week. Shower looks clean, but again the trouble is not worth the price tag. read more

The remodel of my bathroom couldn't have gone any smoother. From the time I called the office, to having my initial appointment with the project manager (Andrew), and interaction with the demo and, installation crew, the professionalism and attention to detail was beyond approach.
