They don't usually have sales on their running shoes, as they only offer a limited selection of the latest, most expensive models. They have a treadmill in store. This location has a small parking lot that is very awkward to turn into and out of on the busy street. I think it's really nice the employees don't make commission, so there isn't pressure to buy shoes on the spot. I tried on seven pairs of shoes and didn't find any of them to be very comfortable. For a store that emphasizes trying on a variety of running shoes, their return policy is not conducive to that. They allow returns within 30 days, but the shoes must be unworn. You don't know if a running shoe feels good until you actually run in them.

First I stopped at the Dolce and Gabbana counter for the perfect matte lipstick and purchased the rosette shade. The ladies there were very helpful and offered a sample of fragrance which was delightful. Next I went upstairs to ladies apparel where Ms. Parvin helped me tremendously. She made me feel very welcome, even though I prefer to browse a long time before purchasing! She provided me with a dressing room and make sure I was comfortable and told me to take my time. She was definitely making typical upsell gestures, but she was not too pushy and overall very respectful. I purchased an Ungaro dress and was very happy. She packaged it up all very well and I was so happy that I didn't have to beg for help, and that I was not approached disrespectfully or presumptuously as a black woman shopping higher end retail.

Although Lisette was busy assisting with other responsibilities, she still made it a point to introduce herself and personally take care of me. She even switched responsibilities with a colleague so she could continue helping me, since we had already spoken over the phone. What impressed me most was that she remembered exactly who I was and why I had come in. Without hesitation, she took care of everything and retrieved my replacement boots.
