Such a fun experience for the holidays. They really make this fun. We went for the Christmas brunch. There were a ton of comfortable nooks and tables to eat set up perfectly to be warm, cozy and really enjoy time with family and kids. Perfect brunch spot for kids with a Santa, couches and plenty of space to walk around. There were fun hot chocolate stations, coffee bars, omelet bar, waffles, fresh fruit, basic breakfast items and a warm breakfast section. The brunch covers anything you could want. The service was excellent as well. Very attentive to detail. Janette even thought about blue straws for the boys and pink for the girls, and catered to our very high maintenance family.

Ambience was nice. Drinks were good but not great. Service was on point. Was overlooking Wrigley Stadium, so it's obvious what the draw is. High vaulted ceilings and would likely be great for a work holiday party. Nice spot to visit.

Had an early evening meal at ALMA the past weekend. The food was good. The service could have been better, pretty slow - perhaps they were short on servers. The ambiance is great, an upscale art deco feel in a bright, happening venue. This a great spot right by Wrigley - I think I'd go back for beverages, maybe skip the food.

We stopped at this bar after the Cubs game with a few friends. Great vibe and atmosphere and a very upscale hotel. This is a nice place to have a drink and some food with friends. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. This is definitely a place to go to just lounge and talk with friends. It is right next to Wrigley Field and a great place for after the game. We will return when in the area.

We were staying at the hotel for a couple of nights and decided to have dinner here for one of those nights. It was a good choice because we sat outside with a great view of Wrigley Field. We started with a couple of good drinks. The menu offers several appetizers and a few entrees. We decided to go with the Charcuterie Board and the mezze plate. Both items tasted great. We also split the ice cream sandwich for dessert. It was awesome.

Afternoon Tea service

Had an exceptional experience with their afternoon tea service! We booked this ahead of time at an affordable $30 pp and felt it was well worth the money. Our server was super attentive, described all the teas and offerings and overall genuinely friendly. The service came with all you can consume teas (5 options), a tower full of popcorn, egg salad and cucumber sandwiches. The bottom of the tower was filled with amazing sweets - macarons, danishes and a pumpkin spice roll. All delicious. This lobby bar/restaurant is also a sight. Very well laid out, look pictures and lots of comfy spots to hang out and enjoy an afternoon. Amazing!

Loved, loved the terrace and the whole decor in the place - elegant yet understated. If you are a Cub's fan you have the perfect view. The cocktails were nice, with good mixology. We enjoyed the falafel sliders and the charcuterie board because we were hungry. It was weird, we order a couple of other things but our server came back saying that were not available, getting their food from another place??? Service was mediocre, our server did not have much knowledge about the menu or their availability, and prices are high. I would go back for cocktails on the terrace. Perhaps if they serve High-Tea I will check it out, since I heard good things about the experience.

Dried flower bouquet station

Went to spring tea here. It's inside hotel Zachary on the second floor. You can get to it by going inside hotel Zachary's main entrance on n Clark (facing wrigley) and then use the elevator to get to the second floor. Service was quick and our server was very kind. Open to giving recommendations on which tea to pick and let us know we could not only get our own individual pots of tea but that we could even ask for a refill of a different flavor (or the same) later and it was included! We picked the melon tea (red tea, caffeine free) and the pomegranate green tea and really liked them. Highly recommend both! We both got Prosecco and it was good quality. This is what you get at first, then you pick your tea, then come out the towers of finger foods! The food was delicious and I especially liked the macarons and the Nutella croissant. My only disappointment is the dried flower bouquet station seemed like it only had items that would be like...Michael's/Hobby Lobby discards. Nothing that was good for the center of the bouquet but are nice accompaniment to other flowers that I'll probably buy at a later date to spruce it up to use as the centerpiece for my table at home. All in all, I'd definitely recommend afternoon tea at Alma! It's a steal compared to other places in Chicago and it is great for either a cute date or a girls day!

Drinks were very good! I usually don't drink rum, but the drink I had tasted so good! Staff was very nice as well and I like the atmosphere

On the second floor of Hotel Zachary we attended Afternoon Tea on Sunday at Alma. Service was attentive & informative. The tea selection tasted so good. They change over time, but I loved the Mallorca Melon. There's also a pool table and outdoor patio you can enjoy after the indoor tea service. Dress code said casual, but women wore beautiful daytime dresses and men wore button ups or polos. It was giving modern day Bridgerton. Was a little confused because booked the service from Instagram had thought we paid ahead of time. Card info was apparently just to hold the reservation, and if you no call no show you're charged a percentage of what the total would have been. Nonetheless, we paid once we were finished and all was well. Would go back!

Great place to go after a game. Got right in with a reservation. Zachary Old Fashioned was really good.

Beautiful hotel and lounge. Alma is a magnificent cocktail lounge situated on the second floor of Hotel Zachary. I would highly recommend taking a ride share vs. parking as Valet is a bit pricey. Plenty of seating and a well decorated lounge made for a wonderful atmosphere to grab cocktails before heading to a concert nearby. My friend and I ordered a few different drinks such as Moscow Mule, Mojito's, and Martini's. The drinks were good. We didn't order any food as we had ate prior to coming here. The waitstaff was - okay. Unfortunately, the young woman who took our drink order did just that. She never came back to check and see how we were doing and I ended up going up to the bar to order another drink for myself. For the majestic atmosphere and pricey drinks, I was expecting a lot better service but everyone has their bad days I guess. Overall, I would recommend at least checking this place out for the scenery. Great architecture and minimal design makes this a great place to take a few pics for social prior to stepping out on the town.

Good cocktail bars are few. They need an environment that engages with you, moody, no plasma screens, comfortable seats and a good list of traditional and edgy cocktails. Alma, on the second floor of the Hotel Zachary fits the bill. Inspired by Wrigley Field architect Zachary Taylor Davis' wife, Alma C. Davis, this intimate, stylish space is both refined and comfortable. This large space has a view of Wrigley Field, low lighting, and very tasteful interiors with sumptuous booths. It is essentially an upper middle class suburban interpretation of a high end bar. We ordered a manhattan and the seasonal gin and tonic. Both were well crafted. They do have a small menu of bites. The service was attentive. For two drinks was $40. We plan to go back.

The staff was super attentive and kind, checking on us frequently. My friend and I stopped by for happy hour, and this should absolutely make it onto the list of the best in town. They have delicious wine, cocktails, and bites for nearly half of the regular price. I opted for the happy hour prosecco to drink, which was light-bodied and not too sweet. We split the meatballs and dates for bites and both were outstanding. I was super impressed with how tender the meatballs were, and they did not skimp on the flavorful marinara and cheese! The dates, which were topped with a white wine cheese sauce, were mouth-wateringly delicious and a must order. There was also complimentary focaccia with olive oil, which was greatly appreciated. With sea salt on top and a crispy exterior, I could easily have eaten a whole loaf. The only note I have is that the portions are small, so if you don't come during happy hour the prices are a bit steep for what you get. Will 100% be back soon to try more of the menu and highly recommend making the trek over here!

However, the bartender was not very nice, and we saw her stick her hand in someone's glass to get something out before serving it... Other than that though the hh glass of red, complementary bread with olive oil, and hh Brussels were all great!
