Near the casher, there was a sampling dish for sourdough bread. They told me it is freshly baked by a local, independent baker. It was delicious, the best sour bread that I have had in Durham region so far. I did not buy it this time as I still have sour bread at home, but I will definitely purchase next time. They have many locally-made selected food items on the shelves. From today's experience made me want to check their cold cuts next time.
