Definitely now is on my list of fave donut spot. They have quite a few different and cool flavours. But too bad they're so far from me. Well i mean it might be good for my waistline haha. We got 6 donuts (that box was HEAVY). Unfortunately i can't remember the names of the ones we bought, but they were all amazing. We had one that had fresh strawberries, a blueberry cheesecake, a sprinkle donut, chocolate donut.... and two other ones. We tried both the regular donut base and also the cake base. I usually don't like cake based donuts because i find them usually way too dense. But at Crave Donuts, the cake base is so fluffy and light. I do wish that my husband chose a crueller based donut to try too.... so i guess i'll have to make a trip there another day.

We aren't huge on sweets but how can you not want to inhale something that looks soooo PRETTY?!? *Pecan Butter Tart Super fluffy Very creamy & Light flavor Pecan Pieces were a nice touch *Tiramisu CheeseCake Instant Espresso flavor Filling light whipped and delicious Wow *Lemon Goldie Raspberry hits you intensely Lemon has a little pucker Super creamy at the same time *Creme Brulee Caramelized topping Cracks like a traditional Creme Brulee Custard inside Light fluffy *Caramel Apple Fritter Super Fluffy Lots of Apple & Cinnamon Hunk of apple in there Caramel is perfection *Maple Bacon Bar Light and fluffy Maple flavor Bacon smoky and delicious All in all the doughnuts were all very flavorful. The dough on all of them was extremely light and airy. If I had to rate them in order, I would say Lemon Goldie, Tiramisu Cheese Cake, Carmel Apple Fritter, Creme Brulee, Pecan Butter Tart, Maple Bacon Bar. They were all delicious, but some exploded in flavor just a little more. Definitely impressed. Came here shortly past 1 pm on Saturday and saw a lineup. We were a bit hesitant as it was a cold day, but knowing that this place run out of donuts quickly, we decided to get in line. Took 20 mins from the time we joined in the line till we finished our purchase. We got: Biscoff (yeast dough) French Toast (yeast dough) Honey vanilla cruller (French dough) Churro cruller (French dough) Nutella Churro cruller (French dough) Taxido (cake dough) We concluded that this place is great for French dough and cake dough. We are not a big fan of their yeast dough items which were chewy/dense than fluffy/light. French dough items are eggy like "pate a choux" with a lot of air pockets. The light and crispy texture is addictive! Taxido was moist and crumbly, with a generous sugar coating. Guilty pleasure!

Really good donuts in Whitby. Came early on a 'bad weather' day and was able to snag a good selection of donuts based on advice from friends who tell me they sell out quickly on weekends. It's a small shop so I can see why the lines can build up. If you look at their instagram page you'll see when they sell out or updates to their donut flavours. I honestly can't even remember all the flavours we bought but if you have a sweet tooth like me every donut looked and tasted amazing. We shared with friends and family so we could try more flavours lol. I will definitely mark this as a Whitby -need to go type of spot....unless you're not a fan of donuts.

I never thought I would set alarms on my phone to place an online order for doughnuts, but it happened. In my experience you have to be on the website right at 9am if you want a box. The actual pickup process is very quick which I appreciated. As someone with gluten allergies, I've never actually eaten one of their doughnuts and it's disappointing they don't offer any gluten free options. However, whenever I show up at someone's house with a box of these doughnuts everyone is always impressed. They all look beautiful and far more exciting than any other donuts I've ever seen. They come up with some really cool flavours and my family really enjoys them. However, usually people are only really interested in four or five of the options. The last box I got had a maple bacon donut that no one wanted to try. Usually when I'm picking between the two boxes I know there's at least one donut in each that won't be popular, so that's a little frustrating. However, I'll definitely be back to pick up donuts for more special occasions because not many other desserts bring the same wow factor for $20.

Went here on a nice weekday afternoon for the first time. The place itself is small, with room for really only two people inside. We a nice mixture of donuts, ranging from apple pie to salted caramel macchiato, to vanilla sprinkle. The donuts were way bigger than I thought they'd be. The sweet potato one we got barely fit in with the rest of the donuts. The icing wasn't too sweet and the layer was thin enough that it didn't overpower the dough in any way. There wasn't an excess amount of oil per bite, and each donut tasted just as they were named. I can't wait to go back to try the other seasonal flavors!

These donuts are on another level. I got a box of their assorted dozen which contained the following flavours: peach raspberry fritter, creme brûlée, cannoli, churro cruller, honey vanilla cruller, fudge brownie, twix, confetti cake, mango cocolime, coffee cookie butter, and carrot cake fritter. My mistake was thinking 2 people could take on this box before it getting stale... First of all the donuts are HUGE... I almost wish they were smaller so I can try more flavours in one sitting, but they're definitely worth it because they're so filling. Each flavour was so well executed... it not only looked the part but most of them were pretty on point with the flavour. Beware, as some of them are super sweet. Luckily I have a high tolerance for sweetness. It's also really nice that they switch up their flavours every month and have weekly flavours. I pre-ordered my box the day before and took no chances.. I went to their site right at 9AM and quickly checked my box out for Saturday morning pickup. When I got there it was a quick in and out. Their store space is super tiny... only standing space for 1 person at a time. It would be a lotttt easier if they were able to accommodate pre-orders while also serving the walk-in line. Overall, $40 for a dozen donuts is pretty steep but I'm all for supporting local businesses and the donuts are pretty bomb.

Probably the best donuts I've ever had. Usually donuts are one note - sweet. These donuts have depth. They are well made - not doughy, not mushy, not dense. Light perfection! I actually don't feel too sick after eating one which is more than I can say for other donuts. They really do taste like what they say. Their crullers are perfection - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The passionfruit cacao was tart and complex. And the apple pie was amazing! Great filling. They work out to around $4 per donut which I think is a decent price for how much work goes into them. I'm definitely going back.

These donuts are wonderful. I've been to crave so many times and I would HIGHLY recommend the crullers and the fritters. LOVE THEM. They always have friendly staff and it's just a great experience.

We went to Crave Donuts last month and got a half dozen donuts Dear lord..... Were they ever good!!! I'm happy that Durham has a gourmet/specialty donut shop Beats going to Toronto to get some The stuffed donuts are quite the treat The Cookie Monster donut was super yummy We had the Skor Cheesecake one and oh my..... The selection was super awesome Had to lineup outside because of Covid rules so make sure you don't go on a cold day or a rainy one Only thing I would say is the Churro Cruller For an idea drizzle some caramel on top of it and this will make it mucho delicioso

Really great donuts in Whitby! I was nearby the 2nd Oshawa location (Wentworth) and popped by. I definitely think it's less busy at the Oshawa location but both spots donuts are excellent. Honestly I love crullers and this place makes an awesome crueller. We went during the summer months so I was able to try their seasonal special creamsicle but their classic is the best one. They also have really great service. I was running errands and it was hot that day so they said I can leave my donuts at the shop so they don't go bad. I was able to pick them up before closing without missing out on the selections earlier in the day. Would suggest going early to get the best options :)

The salmon was tough, tasted bad, rank. The seasoning was weird and didn't pair well. It had some kinda spice that tasted odd. I don't even know what to say about it. But later that night I was throwing up well into the morning. I only eat possibly 3-4 small bites, most of the dish was left back. I still tipped and didn't complain as I just wanted the kids to have a nice night without arguing with whoever. As I write this I am reminded of the disgusting taste. NEVER again for that dish! Now that I think about it I honestly shouldn't have tipped. Paying for that dish was already above and beyond!

It is a small joint with maybe 10 -12 tables (some booths) being run by two very lovely ladies who were really helpful. We opted for a medium Canadian walk in special, spaghetti and meatballs with a side of garden salad. You need to order at the front and sit down and they call you when the food is ready. I did not try the pizza but my daughter really enjoyed their Canadian. My spaghetti and meatballs came with excellent meatballs but it was a little too saucy for my liking. We only got to sample a bit of the salad but the roasted red pepper that come with the salad was a nice and sweet and you could tell it was roasted in house, not the sour stuff that come out of a jar. Our overall experience was pretty good but I think at this price point, I expected a little more like real plates and cutlery maybe? I didn't love eating my pasta with disposable wooden fork that came pre-packaged with a wooden knife, napkin and a salt and pepper packet which seemed more wasteful than anything. I would come back to try out their sandwiches next time and skip the pasta.

We excitedly tried here today. We ordered: Wings $7.29 * Six Wings * Sauce on Wings * Medium Sauce Medium Margherita Pizza $19.65 Veal Sandwich $11.99 The pizza had fresh basil leaves, fresh tomato & sauce. Mozzarella was not fresh mozzarella. The crust was not Naopolitan style, but tasty with a good texture. Not thick, not thin. This crust may go better with other toppings. The wings are reasonably priced, and not dry. The sauce was good. I had high expectations for their Veal Sandwich, as it is highly reputed. I liked the fluffy Kaiser bun - not flat, not soggy in spite of the saucy fillings. Yes, there were multiple layers of veal cutlets but they lacked veal taste. All I tasted was the deep-fried crust coated with tomato sauce. The size was big, and it is "filling" for sure. Although I was a bit disappointed, I think I had too high an expectation from the reputations. If I want something different from those famous chain pizza joints, this place is definitely to go!

The rest were sold out and no more were getting made for the day despite the shop having a few more hours to go before closing. Service on a busy morning is very slow. It's not entirely the business owner's fault as the Maverick's franchise doesn't give much option to quickly dole out the donuts. The employees have to juggle a box in one arm and a pair of tongs in the other. If there was room to rest the box on the counter, it would be quicker and easier to pack in the donuts and cycle through customers. Despite the slow service, I'd come back here for these tasty treats.
