They all had that look you get when your animal poops in the bed despite knowing better. It doesn't leave a good impression. The cashier looked so lost at her job. She was the only woman not rude or acting like she had a chip on her shoulder but she didn't look like she wanted to be there either. At 7 am, this place wasn't very busy and yet it took the cashier forever to remember I wanted a receipt, even after I asked for it twice. The gas pumps work, I guess? Not very clean. Gift shop definitely not worth the prices. If you don't need to stop, try to go on to the next town.

We were in the shop no longer than 5 minutes when in walked a rude women who said we needed to move our vehicles because we were blocking the gas pumps. We followed her out and she was parked at the gas pumps and announced she was one of the owners and then she preceded to back out. We were paying customers to her company and she had no right to speak to us like she was better than us. The young guy she has working for her is very nice and does his job but she came off the street just to tell us rudely to move our vehicles which was actually not blocking her precious pumps. I told the young guy that because of the rudeness of his owner, me nor my friend would ever do business with them again. There is no reason to ever talk to your customers the way she was talking to us. Me and my friend are both in our 40's so we were not rude to her and did not deserve to be treated so rudely.

I went inside and grabbed a cup, filled it with only ice and went up to the register. The girl told me it was going to be $1.50 for the cup of ice. I asked her again. It's only ice. I didn't get a soda and she said you pay full price. I have been to thousands of gas stations across the west from Texas all the way to the West Coast to Washington in Canada, but I have never been charged more than $.50 for a cup of ice. Most of the time when I'm filling up my vehicle with gas, they tell me just take the ice don't worry about it the inside was dirty and the food that was sitting in the rotating hot dog look like they had been there for five days. It was only 9 o'clock in the morning. Do yourself a favor and stop at a different gas station!

Long story…read moreshort, we were doing the Jeep trail out in big bend National park of May 2022 when a huge hail & thunderstorm came out of nowhere and flooded the area. Including us - right in the middle of big bend National park. After 12 hours of waiting, the park rangers finally found US but our Jeep was still stuck. After hours of searching companies that could tow jeeps off of off road trails we FINALLY came across Sheffield and the god send Mike himself! Y'all this man is a Jeep towing boss - he towed his own tricked out Jeep on the wrecker, picked us up from Terlingua Ranch (also highly recommend) drove an hour and half to the park where our Jeep was stuck, off loaded his Jeep, drove down to the trail, hooked our Jeep baby up to his Jeep baby (after replacing the tire from the accident), & then loaded BOTH Jeeps back up to save the day! Highly highly recommend Sheffield and Mike and his family! We even had an opportunity to speak to his wife who dispatches for him! Lovely lovely family and the best rescue team out in west Texas! Thank y'all so much for rescue!
