What am amazing place in this quaint town. Everything was spot on!! Decor is welcoming and relaxing. Colors, theme and preservation of the old building!! Greeted with smiling faces. No problem making substitutions on items ordered. Breakfast sandwich perfectly stacked and lots of bacon! Loaded bagel sandwich was easy to eat and the egg was perfect. Cappuccino was a bit dry but the coffee flavor made up for it. Caramel drink of the month was rich and smooth. Worth detouring off the freeway for!!

Honeybee is a super cute coffee spot in Sonora, TX. We were just passing through but wanted lattes so we stopped in, and they have a pretty comprehensive drink menu! I got a lavender pumpkin spice latte because that's my fav combo and it was absolutely lovely. They also had immaculate bathrooms And there was plenty of parking along the street outside, no issue there - and plenty of seating inside as well as a little bench outside. Overall just a really cute, homely vibe with a great menu! No notes~

So yummy and creamy!

This place is a hidden Gem! Absolutely a MUST stop coffee shop while on a road trip or passing by. The service here was excellent and the girls are so sweet! the avocado toast is fresh and yummy! The Lattes are creamy and Delicious! The ambiance is perfect for a coffee and work or even a meet with friends for a board game! Thank you

12oz. Chai tea. Sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. Spinach quiche.

Don't let the size of the food items fool you. They are very filling. Food taste is great, and waiting for the food took about 10-15 minutes. I had what is pictured and my dad had two of spinach quiche. They bring the food out altogether. My chai tea was very hot. I had to take the lid off to cool it down after burning my tongue. The atmosphere is great. Very chill and relaxing.

I was on a cross country road trip & had spent the night in Sonora. I found honeybee while driving thru the tiny strip of "downtown" & decided to treat myself to a breakfast on the go. The pastries looked nice though I wish I would have asked if they were baked fresh because the croissant I got was cold & tasted a bit generic. Nonetheless I am glad they had dairy free milks & everything was extremely affordable. The service was efficient & kind, allowing me to get more caramel in my macchiato. Parking was accessible on a Monday morning, the restroom was clean, and there were plenty of tables to sit. The ambiance was casual and it looked like most folks were coming & going on a lot stop.

View of the dining room in the refurbished "Main Street" building with fun games at each table.

Lovely cafe with great sandwiches and a big variety of drinks. Loved the chicken salad, blt and paninis. Enjoyed fancy iced teas and protein smoothies. Service was quick and friendly and prices were reasonable.

Hot vanilla latte, done just right.

On our way back to Houston, we stopped at this great coffee shop. Great coffee and service! What more can you ask for in the morning. Reasonable prices too. Also enjoyed a fresh apple and pecan muffins. Super yummy! Definitely will come back.

Cold brew and mocha frappe

The atmosphere is super cute and such a good little spot to stop on a road trip or if you are just in town looking for a good coffee break. Mocha and cold brew was a delicious treat coming from a long road trip!

We were in Sonora for a cross county meet. I asked a friend what was the best place for a coffee. She recommended this place. Honeybee Cafe was such a cute place! The staff were so friendly and helpful. I got the brown sugar espresso topped with caramel cold foam. So delicious! My son also got a strawberry protein shake and he loved it. We also got a frappe which my friend said she really enjoyed it as well. We will be back next time we are in town to try the food.

This was a great place to stop for a bite on our way to Cloudcroft, NM. It is in the old mercantile building. It is clean and nicely decorated. I got the Honeybee Bagel. It was awesome.

A pleasant foodie surprise in San Angelo!…read more I had to come into San Angelo for work and going into the trip, I was not too excited about my food options available to me as a vegetarian...but I did find Buttercup online and it seemed close enough to those "hip, city coffee shops", meaning I should be able to get some decent food! Unfortunately, a lot of their hot sandwich options were off the table since they seemed to have a broken toaster, but I was able to order a hummus veggie sandwich that came with seasoned potato chips, a side salad, and a stick of chocolate. I also got a vanilla cake bite (pop without the stick) and everything was about $18 with tip. I didn't feel like trying any of the drinks, but some of the coffee flavors sounded interesting and they have seasonal flavors too. The ambiance is inviting, and definitely feels like a cozy place for the community to come hang. If you ever find yourself in this part of west Texas, definitely keep this spot in your back pocket for close to healthy eats!

Love visiting Buttercup. The vibe in the shop is welcoming and calming. Like any good coffee shop,…read moreit makes you want to stay. The coffee options are plentiful and they do their own take on both custom and traditional coffee drinks. You will find all your caffeine needs here. They also have a good menu. It ranges from custom toasts to toasted bagels and even extensively crafted charcuterie boards. Service is friendly and knowledgeable and they have a drive thru if you are in a hurry. There are a few good coffee options in San Angelo and if you are in Buttercup's part of town, this is your stop.
