Our project was a five figure project. Allstate provided a competitive bid and worked with us to ensure that we were happy. They worked for hours over two days on our property, brought a significant number of men to work and they worked very hard climbing and pruning trees that were over five-six stories high. They came with a wood chipper and carted away the wood without significant mess. One of the significant things I noticed is that they actually knew their trees and identified the trees by name in their proposal. They were so good that I got calls and emails from concerned individuals about men in the trees with chainsaws outside their windows. I accidentally can now check being able to tell someone "I sent that man with the chainsaw outside your window" off of my bucket list. They gave a date on which they could come and came on that day ready to work. People have complimented their work.

It was one of those things where I thought "Man, I need to look into getting that cut down" but kept putting it off. Luckily, Howard happened to drive through the neighborhood & left a price quote. Very reasonable price. I gave him a call & he swung by a few minutes later. I showed him some branches in the backyard that I also wanted trimmed. He gave me very good deal to combine the jobs. A week later a large crew of ultimate professionals got the job done in about an hour. Left the place spotless. Even threw in adding the mulch to my shrubs. Normally I do a bunch of research before hiring someone. I'm quite fortunate that Howard's Tree Service fell in my lap because it was the perfect job. Good value, great service. I hired Freeport trees to remove a large tree that was threatening my roof. They did a good job,…read moreclean up well but, two things: they left a large amount of shavings, too much that had to be hauled away by the new tree planter. And they left a large portion of the trunk in the ground that impeded the planting of new trees; they aren't evenly planted and it seems I will need to get the planter back and remove the obstruction and replant the new trees. I tried to contact Freeport but never got a call back. I'm disappointed, I'll have to pay to get this trunk completely removed. It's not my business and went into this blind, trusting Freeport to do a proper job. At this point its become clear that was my mistake. My advise is to be forewarned. Better, find another tree service. The new tree planter told me they completely remove the old trunks, had I known they also remove trees I'd have given it all to them.
