The crew did an amazing job trimming several massive branches that were hanging dangerously close to our roofline. They worked with incredible precision in a very tight space between our house and the neighbor's fence, managing to lower every piece safely without a scratch to either property. They were able to flawlessly remove several branches, which were extremely high, in our backyard tree. I recently hired Allstate Tree & Shrub to do a two day project of pruning trees. We had never…read moreworked with them before. Tree pruning is shockingly expensive. Our project was a five figure project. Allstate provided a competitive bid and worked with us to ensure that we were happy. They worked for hours over two days on our property, brought a significant number of men to work and they worked very hard climbing and pruning trees that were over five-six stories high. They came with a wood chipper and carted away the wood without significant mess. One of the significant things I noticed is that they actually knew their trees and identified the trees by name in their proposal. They were so good that I got calls and emails from concerned individuals about men in the trees with chainsaws outside their windows. I accidentally can now check being able to tell someone "I sent that man with the chainsaw outside your window" off of my bucket list. They gave a date on which they could come and came on that day ready to work. People have complimented their work.

It was one of those things where I thought "Man, I need to look into getting that cut down" but kept putting it off. Luckily, Howard happened to drive through the neighborhood & left a price quote. A week later a large crew of ultimate professionals got the job done in about an hour. Left the place spotless. Even threw in adding the mulch to my shrubs. I hired Freeport trees to remove a large tree that was threatening my roof. They did a good job,…read moreclean up well but, two things: they left a large amount of shavings, too much that had to be hauled away by the new tree planter. And they left a large portion of the trunk in the ground that impeded the planting of new trees; they aren't evenly planted and it seems I will need to get the planter back and remove the obstruction and replant the new trees. I tried to contact Freeport but never got a call back. I'm disappointed, I'll have to pay to get this trunk completely removed. It's not my business and went into this blind, trusting Freeport to do a proper job. At this point its become clear that was my mistake. My advise is to be forewarned. Better, find another tree service. The new tree planter told me they completely remove the old trunks, had I known they also remove trees I'd have given it all to them.

Approximately 2/3's of the tree is over my fenceline, the understanding was that branches on my side would be trimmed. The crew only trimmed one area and left a significant number of branches on my side uncut. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the foreman, he said he could only trim branches on my side. The crew failed to address numerous branches on my side. They were here for a total of 20 minutes and charged me $350. Additionally, they failed to clean up to my satisfaction with a five person team. This was a simple job that could have been completed to my satisfaction with another 15 minutes of effort. Customer service was not displayed in my opinion. Ive used other tree companies and had a way better experience. I wont use or reccomend this company
