I hired All State Pro Exterminators for a job at my residency 3 months ago. I spoke to a man named Ed. He agreed to the job and gave me a price of $250. He offered a 6 month warranty for a price of $500. I did not agree to it. As explained by Ed, the warranty would allow me to get services for 6 months in the event I had other pest related issues. I should've knew something was wrong when he arrived late. His excuse was the secretary wrote the wrong address down. He arrived almost an hour later than scheduled. I gave him pass for that. He finally arrived along with his son in an unmarked vehicle; nothing like the vehicle featured on the website. The job was done for that day. 2 weeks later I made attempts to reach Ed because the problem still existed. He would only respond via text. Finally his secretary contacted me via text to schedule another appt for follow up. Here's the catch he would only commit to a follow up visit if I agreed to an addt'l $250. Regardless if I accepted the warranty or not, he should have followed up with a visit considering the issue wasn't resolved from the first visit. After going back and forth via texting which I didn't like doing but he refused to answer my calls, wouldn't respond and I gave up hope. I had to hire another company to do a job that should've been followed up by ALL STATE PRO EXTERMINATORS. I learned a valuable lesson. When your time isn't respected (late to the appointment) that's a that's flag in itself. That says your time isn't valuable. It speaks about the quality work you'll receive, professionalism or lack thereof. The lack of communication and unwillingness to make things right was a slap in my face. When I called to hire Ed he had so much to say then. He exuded professionalism then and had me feeling like he was qualified for the job. I felt like he got $250 out of me but cared less about making things right when I didn't agree to the warranty. Next time I will honor my gut feelings. I feel like I was scammed. read more
