He was kind enough to meet my boyfriend at Home Depot with his van because the toilets didn't fit in my boyfriend's car. Once the box was opened at home, one of the toilets was cracked so he took it and exchanged it. He did an efficient job & it made me so happy to see a well mannered young man handling his business. I didn't choose this company my management company chose this business. With that being said I would give them 3 out of 10 for services and customer service or lack there of. Made an appointment for June 10 from 2-3pm and waited until 2:49 to call to see what was going on. The person Natalie Santos stated she didn't know why they hadn't gotten to my house and she would find out and call me back. When she calls back a few mins later she stated that the person van broke down and we can reschedule for tomorrow morning at 8am. After being inconvenienced I still agree to them coming out tomorrow to resolve the issue with my sink. The guy comes the next day at 8am as scheduled. He never stated his name but he looked over what needed to be done, left out to get his tools to complete the job. Once he was done he left without stating what the issue was but that the job was finished. He ask his what/why the sink was stopping up. After he finished explaining I went back to the bathroom to make sure the sink was working properly and found that this guy had made a complete mess of my bathroom along with leaving water/hair/ whatever was in the drain all over the items in the bottom of the sink. Highly upset that I have damaged items that have to be thrown away and water all over everything including the toilet. Nasty and careless worker !!! I would NEVER have chosen this company on my own. I spoke with Natalie Davila about the mess the worker left me to clean up and she tell me "ITS JUST WATER" as if water doesn't cause damage to stuff. Very clueless!! Santos (Allstar Rooter) has done work at my home for over a decade. I have a house that is a hundred years old and needs a lot of work. He consistently calls back in a timely manner, all the projects are finished faster than expected, and the price is always reasonable. Santos and his company has done everything from replacing toilets, sinks, and a garbage disposal to snaking the shower and water jetting the main line. After evaluating the actual work firsthand, Santos was able to provide more insight on how the piping layout should be. Alstar Rooter is another provider for which zero stars is too many stars. Technician visited the house, charged the $85 service fee, did NOT diagnose the system, did NOT find the failed thermostat, incorrectly identified the gas control valve as bad and estimated a $1,200+ rebuild cost. Thermostat properly diagnosed by PDS Pluimbing and Air - see related 5-star yelp review for them elsewhere on this site. I'm a landlord; I have a management company that handles this property for me, and they were called out for a "heater won't turn off" complaint; The technician obviously did not do any diagnostic checks, for if they had, the failed (on) thermostat would have been obvious and a simple, quick - and relatively cheap repair. Although to be sure, "My Bad" for agreeing to send out a company called "Allstar Rooter" to take a look at a heater problem...lesson learned. Maybe they are completely good at rooting. It's our habit to get at least 2 estimates for work like this, and even from across the country this sounded like a failed thermostat to me - the heater was working fine, it was just on. In the summer. Making the house hot. The gas control valve was working too well! So the second service visit- from PDS Plumbing and Air - related 5 star review elsewhere - quickly identified the failed thermostat and provided pictures of the broken part and pictures of the heater operating properly with the thermostat taken out of the circuit. When confronted with the inadequate diagnostic job by the Allstar tech, the owner (I think...) declined to refund the service call fee. And here we are with another zero star rating as a result. I will be informing the management company to ban Allstar from working on any of my properties moving forward. Such incompetence by the technician and a lack of integrity by the owner has no place in my list of service providers. read more

I broke off the outside hose faucet just inside the wall of my home. Since it was broken in the wall of the house there was no way I could fix it. I called around and most plumbers were unavailable and I did not want one of the generic "rooter" services that only know how to clear drains...I needed some real problem solving experience. The owner Fred is amazing. He is so kind..such great customer service..He cleared my sewer line. He took his time.. somebody else could not clear my line so he came and cleared it. He has mad skills..so I hired his company to do a Trenchless sewer line, and my kitchen line...They did an amazing job. They cleaned up everything, they were on time, they were quick. It took them one day versus multiple days. They got the permits quickly. I must say these guys are extremely hard workers... as we all know Plumbing is not cheap, but it has to be done. I had high hopes for All Star Rooter Plumbers based on their reputation for professionalism. However, my experience left much to be desired. Despite scheduling appointments, they failed to confirm them, leaving me in limbo. To add insult to injury, they charged my management company an $85 service fee for cancellations, even though it was their own lack of confirmation that caused the issue. It's disheartening to see a company prioritize profit over customer satisfaction, especially when dealing with business accounts. Proceed with caution if reliability and fair treatment are important to you. Also they send invoices with wrong dates, Dating back a whole year. read more

We don't know much about water heaters, so we had to learn real quick. Called to have 75 gallon water heater installed. Santos was AWESOME!! I've used Allstar Rooter twice and both times have been great. The first time he came out to look for a leak behind some water damaged drywall in a newly purchased house. He solved the issue within 5 minutes in a few minutes and said it was no charge because it was such a quick visit. I can't believe these guys don't have good reviews yet. They were the third plumber I called to clear a sink drain line blocked below the cleanout (I tried a standard ridgid drill/snake out to 25 feet with no results). One plumber tried a rooter, and said they couldn't clear the line - they recommended hydrojetting ($1200 to $2000) as a temporary fix, or replacing the line running for $7500, including digging through the driveway. Another plumber from the home warranty company sent a guy who only got his hand/drill snake caught in the line (at least he didn't charge me). I was ready to spend $7500 but decided to make one more call so I could better stomach spending the money (or hopefully get a lower bid). Allstar came out and cleared the line in 45 minutes for $100. Highly recommend! Had a very slow draining kitchen sink, these guys were referred by a co-worker after I had contacted without success two other plumbers. Like they say "third times the charm". They were willing to come out after I got off work at 5p without charging me a $200 "emergency" fee...ahem, Mike Diamond. They had to access the drain through the roof, but had it cleared in no time and for less than $100. These guys will now be my first call instead of my second or third. read more
