They said if I wasn't out by 4pm on the last day they'd charge me for the whole month. Either way I moved to U-Haul they had better prices and better customer service. Prime storage raised my rates and charged me without a signed agreement.

Anyhow, our electrician removed antiquated fluorescent light fixtures in the basement- but, didn't take the junk he removed with him and it was up to us to dispose them in an eco-friendly way. After hubs looked into recycling centers, Hurley Transfer came up. The family who runs this recycling center deliver a full-service sorting system that is super easy that even a literate child could do this. Not really- but it's simple. Books and other paper goods go together, TVs and electronics together, light bulbs- the super thin+long ones we had, have to be placed in a plastic trash can and are $2ea to dispose, plastics, metal in another section, even clothing, etc. Because we were newbies, the father+son duo helped us along the way. Thank you so much! If you're a resident, there's a small annual fee to dispose your items. Double-check for non-residents though. Think all you want. Continue thinking that's it's ok to mix your waste- but its places like this that can help deviate waste from going into landfills.

When the work was done 60 minutes later, I was charged more than 4 times what I'd expected. NEVER AGAIN. ZOOM forward to 2026 and I learned of the NEW Freedom Propane, bought by a larger family-owned business. Well, it's a WORLD of difference. I needed to change a cut line from a gas stove to instead extend it to a portable generator spot, add a quick-connect valve and hose. Tom visited, gave me a quote on the job and clearly explained the basis for the quote. NO SURPRISES, unlike the 2022 experience. I agreed to the quote and Cory came the following week. He explained clearly what he'd be doing, worked efficiently, retested ALL the lines. The work was done cleanly, the plantings near the house were worked around, and both Tom and Cory were friendly and well-mannered. Tom & Cory completely renewed my faith in Freedom Propane. Thank you both for your great service.
