Specialties
Come to the farmers market to taste our honey. Allison’s Apiaries is a family-owned honey business.
We take people out to see our apiaries, where the bees live. People have bought these tours for birthdays or Christmas.
We sell the best local raw honey online 24/7 and are at the Winter Garden Farmers Market every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm.
Our honey is 100% unfiltered and never heated and is good by itself, or on food, or as an allergy treatment. The variety of honey depends on the time of year you have your allergies.
It can also be used as an antimicrobial salve to heal wounds. Varieties include Florida orange blossom, Florida spring wildflower, Florida summer wildflower, Florida palmetto, Florida holly, and Florida orange blossom blackberry.
Our many-flavored honey sticks are so fun, popular, and delicious.
We also sell other products of the hive, including propolis, beeswax, beeswax candles, beeswax lip balm, and pollen.
We are available Monday through Friday by appointment only for you to pick up our products, just call.
History
Established in 2015.
Allisons' Apiaries currently has around 100 bee hives. Our goal is to have 400 to 500 bee hives in the near future. We raise mated queens and nucleus (5 frame nuc) hives to sell to beekeepers. This is a family business, so everyone in our household helps in extracting, bottling, labeling, and selling honey at Central Florida Farmer's Markets. We have a certified pouring facility to sell honey wholesale and retail. We also stock our honey in local boutique stores.
Meet the Business Owner: Paul A.
I'm Paul, owner of Allisons' Apiaries. I started working with honey bees when I was 12 years old because I developed an interest in beekeeping after earning the beekeeping merit from the Boy Scouts of America. Shortly thereafter, I had 3 bee hives. I have been keeping bees for over years. I am an advanced beekeeper in the state of Florida with the University of Florida’s program. I was the treasurer for the Orange Blossom Beekeepers Association in Orlando, Florida, from 2007 to February 2016. I've been selling honey and products of the hive since 2015. I love bees, honey, and everything to do with beekeeping.
