There are a ton of places! Inside and outside, there are plenty of tables and high tops to sit at. There is a lot of grassy areas outside for kids to run around as well. The best part of Plant Street is that everyone in your party can get something different but all sit together and enjoy each other's company. MY wife and I tend to do this alot. We order smaller things from a few booths and then share everything. During the weekends and then also throughout the year, Plant Street has events such as Octoberfest, pet adoption and live singers, to name a few. This usually will bring more people here and to be honest, parking can be tough. Their private parking lot is not incredibly large and also shares with a few restaurants across from them, not located inside the market. My wife and I try to go early when we visit. We want a table to sit down, even though you can easily walk around with your food. If you cannot find parking, there is a parking garage which will be a slight walk over. The parking garage is closer to where the farmer's market is. Everyone who works at the different vendors are always very nice. I believe they are Crooked Can employees, but people will walk around picking up your beer glasses for you. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. They are priced appropriate for what you get. I definitely recommend checking out Plant Street as this is one of our favorite local places to visit. ACES!

The outside is brick building which I love, it makes it look old and rustic and brings you into the feel of being up North as opposed to Florida. Inside is a long walkway with vendors on both sides. At the end is Crooked Can brewery. This is the main draw to Plant Street. They are the largest vendor occupying one end as well as a smaller bar area on the other end. Their beers are very good, also being sold in stores. Their vendors are mostly food including Jam Hot Chicken, Axom Coffee, Tea place, Empanada and Co., Bento Sushi, Michael's Ali Pizza, Sit Benji's Donuts, a BBQ place and more. There are quite a few. What I love the most, is you could all get something different, which might be great for those that cannot agree. What my husband and I love to do, is to order small things from a few booths and share it all. We get to try a bunch of things and not get super full really fast. Today my love and I stopped at Paloma coffee across the street for a little fuel for the stroll. The market is not huge by any means but does have a decent amount of vendors. I'd say it also has a nice variety of booths. There are prepared food vendors, fresh produce, meat and seafood, soaps, jewelry, candles, etc. Our favorites are Pochos Mango juices and Oh My Guac. Definitely recommend getting the Lulo juice and the ceviche! Also love the fish dips and pickles and jalapeños from Captain Jo's! Today we met Michel owner of La Petite Ferme Goat Milk Soap. What a joy it was to hear about his products and goats! I love supporting local small businesses and meeting the owners at these markets is always so great. Can't wait to try our new soaps!

Several vendors had protective plastic screens, most if not all wore masks and some gloves. I'd say about 85% of patrons wore masks too. It was nice to browse and talk w/vendors without being crowded or feeling rushed. As always everyone was very friendly & happy to take time explaining their products. We really enjoyed the morning stroll through here, and we shopped at many of the businesses, I just wish there were more vendors today. We will be back next week to see if there's anything new. I'd definitely recommend checking out this farmers markets.

Perhaps it'll get bigger as time goes on. Right now, they usually have the massage/spa place (Indigo Spa & Wellness), as well as a variety of homemade goods and food, like honey, banana bread, empanadas, and cheese. They also sell produce. There's plenty of parking along the street, and you don't have to fight the crowds of the other farmer's markets. I'd recommend checking it out, especially if you live in the Summerport/Independence area. The only downside is that it's from 10 AM - 2 PM, which is when it's hot. They seem to change the times occasionally, so check out the Facebook page to confirm the market's times.

I tried researching about the market, and found out that it was supposed to be on Sundays at 10am-2pm. I wasn't able to go last weekend because of the hurricane. Here we are today, 9/17 at 11am and there's no farmers market. I checked their Facebook and there was nothing posted. On Google and here on Yelp, they are open today during the mentioned times. I read someone else's review and she mentioned that they change their times? I'm not sure what's going on with it but I give up. I'd rather just keep going to the Winter Garden farmers market on Saturdays.
