(You know what store I'm talking about... starts with an H) Fine, but my personal observation especially based on the visit I made last week is that even though the other market is being hyped up by social media; Lotte is still a better, and more affordable market. Granted, the food court choices at the other location are better, I'd still come to Lotte when I need specific asian ingredients. It seems they're aware that theres more competition and they've not only done renovations to the store but they have a lot more specials now than before. The day we went they even had several people promoting products and giving out samples. I don't recall them ever doing that before and I think that's a great idea to boost sales in items. I look forward to shopping here in the future.

It looks small from the outside but its pretty big on the inside especially when the extension is the produce seafood and meat are located. It is clean inside but there is a stench when you reach the produce meat and seafood aisle. The shelves and items are organized and neat and somewhat easy to find things in particular. The freezer section to em need to eb restocked since a few areas were almost empty with items. I was in a hunt for a small bottle of LKK Hoisin sauce and they offered smaller bottles for about $3 I think. They have reasonable prices on some items. And some are similar priced to other asian stores nearby. They do sell the viral fruit ice cream pops that come in those containers where it holds the popsicle stick. I was not interested in them so I passed them by. This store is not busy or crowded like Lotte or Enson. This place has a good variety of cute kawaii dishwares. I would come back here again but I prefer Lotte / Enson for more variety.

At over 100,000 square feet, walking into H Mart almost feels like entering a little world of its own. If this is your first visit, give yourself plenty of time because there is A LOT to explore. One of my favorite things about visiting international markets is discovering products and ingredients I wouldn't normally find at a traditional supermarket, and H Mart absolutely delivers. Let's start with the seafood department, because WOW. Fresh fish, live seafood, lobsters, king crabs and varieties of seafood I don't normally see at my everyday grocery store. Even if you're not buying seafood that day, it's worth walking through just to see the selection. Then there's the produce section, which is another adventure. The variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, greens, herbs and specialty produce is fantastic. I found myself stopping every few feet thinking, "What is THAT?" If you enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, this is the kind of place that makes you want to go home and try a completely new recipe. And the aisles... SO MANY AISLES! Noodles, rice, dumplings, sauces, seasonings, marinades, teas, snacks, sweets, beverages, frozen foods and ingredients representing cuisines from throughout Asia. Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino and beyond -- there is so much to discover. Some items were familiar, while others had me pulling out my phone because I wanted to know what they were and how they were used. But H Mart goes well beyond food. You'll also find Asian beauty products, household goods, plants, kitchen items and other specialty products, making this much more than a quick grocery run. Another thing that stood out to me was the service. For such a large and busy market, the employees I encountered were welcoming and helpful. When you're walking through a store this size and discovering unfamiliar products, having someone willing to point you in the right direction makes a difference. H Mart has been around since 1982, but this massive Orlando location feels like something Central Florida has been waiting for. With more than 100,000 square feet to explore, it is definitely a destination rather than simply another supermarket. My tip for first-timers: Don't rush your visit. Give yourself time to walk the aisles, check out the seafood and produce departments, and maybe pick up something you've never tried before. Whether you're searching for authentic ingredients for a specific Asian dish, stocking up on favorites, or you're simply a foodie who loves discovering something new, H Mart is absolutely worth the trip. I walked in curious and walked out impressed! Welcome to Orlando, H Mart. I'll definitely be back.

In addition to selling a wide variety of Japanese, Chinese, and Korean grocery products, there is also an arcade, food hall, salon, and makeup vendor directly in front. So, it almost feels like you are in a self-contained mall rather than just a grocery store. My favorites so far are Kung Fu Tea, Paris Baguette, and of course the arcade. In fact, I have won several stuffed animals from the claw machines, which is of course very addicting. As far as the grocery portion is concerned, I love the variety of beverages and fresh produce. I wouldn't say the prices are better than your average chain store, but the variety of items is better. And to some extent I also think you are paying for the experience, which honestly is fine by me.

Incredibly disappointed in the TLB. I've been a fan for a long time, especially their dry aged…read moremeats, and am more than willing to pay for this type of product. Today, though, I noticed them selling Japanese Wagyu as: Sake Infused Dry Aged A9 Kobe Strip. This is a very scammy way of selling a product. First, meat is graded broadly on three scales - USDA (choice, prime), BMS (beef marbling scale - common in Aus), and the Japanese grading scale. (A1-A5, with most high end steaks being A4 or the gold standard, A5). https://meatnbone.com/blogs/the-clever-cleaver/meat-beef-grading-system-understanding A9 doesn't exist. A BMS 9 could be an A5. But this is mislabeled. They have also used the term A11 in their instagram account. Maybe they are confusing BMS for A-scale, or maybe they are intentionally trying to make their product seem better than competitors. Furthermore, not all Japanese Wagyu is Kobe beef. Kobe beef refers to Tajima cattle raised in Hyogo Japan. The export of this beef is highly regulated to only certain restaurants and purveyors, who will display a seal and certificate certifying the origin of the beef. It is rare, expensive, and most importantly, Bush Brothers (Local Butcher's wholesale purveyor) is not certified to sell, nor do they use in any way, the term Kobe Beef. So it is incredibly likely that this product is mislabeled. This isn't illegal (Kobe beef doesn't have a TM in the US), but it is disingenuous. https://www.kobe-niku.jp/en/contents/certification/index.html https://instagram.com/bushbros Next, "sake infused"is incredibly confusing. Is it referring to the myth that Kobe cattle are massaged with sake? Is it referred to the use of koji (fermented cooked rice) which is often used as an aging accelerant? Or did they really take Japanese Wagyu and infuse (inject, soak?) with sake? And why on earth would you do that!? It would be like making sangria with a bottle of DRC. This product is likely a A5 strip loin (which Bush Bros. does carry) that has been aged. Market price would be somewhere around $175-185/lb. (An unaged cut would be around $150/lb.) When I asked for more information on the most expensive cut of meat in their shop, I was treated with disdain and a dismissive attitude. Neither member of the staff could answer my questions other than to say "It's the highest grade of Kobe beef." To charge $215 dollars for a grade that doesn't exist, for a steak that isn't from Kobe, with an aging method that seems dubious at best, is disingenuous and plays on a lack of consumer knowledge. If The Local Butcher themselves don't know the differences here, they shouldn't sell this product. If they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.

While strolling the streets of Winter Park, we stopped in and looked at all the goods from meats to prepared foods. With a large selection of aged beef, it cannot be missed. With that being said, customer service here is top notch, as they are super helpful with every question you could ever ask. Some renovation has been done, in other words, remodeling and having seating and more restaurant food brings everything together.

I wasn't there to make friends and none actually ticked me off. The ones more genuine and seemed "happy" to be there were the men and women in the little separated cooked food area when you first walk in (you pay separately there, so maybe they are not affiliated with the actual store). Picked up some Asian (Chinese?) roasted pork strips (butt or shoulder?), which later turned out to be as good as it looked. Entered the market itself and was pretty amazed at how much they had to offer. I picked up some fresh chicken wings and goat meat (plan to smoke them) from the meat department. The employee there was not as disgruntled, but wasn't amicable either. I ended up picking up a few fresh vegetables, packaged spice mixes & bottled sauces, and what was left of the "real" wasabi (not the light green stuff a vast majority of sushi places provide). There was a lot of hustle and bustle happening at this place no doubt. I will return when in need of any Asian flavors or vegetables; or for more of that delicious roasted pork. Unless of course I find an Asian market closer to home that offers the array of products I want. My only real disappointment was having a cucumber rot within 1.5 days and having to toss it.
