Awesome almond croissants!! They always have service with a smile and their pasties are delicious

We stopped here on a quiet Tuesday morning. The person behind the counter was great! He made wonderful suggestions and answered our questions about the workshops they hold weekly. He even offered to slice the load of German bread, which I hadn't thought to ask. Great service. We ordered two almond croissants, a plain croissant, two cheese buns, a German bread, and a mini baguette. Everything tasted so good. Each item was wrapped separately and we were given three paper bags. The croissant was just like the ones we have had in France. It was crispy outside and so soft inside. The almond croissants had just the perfect amount of filling and topping. The cheese buns tasted so fresh and soft. We ended up returning a few days later. The lady who helped us this time didn't appear for some time. We stood alone in the front of the store for several minutes. She had us repeat our order three times, and again as she was throwing everything into one bag. It was such a different experience than our first visit. The almond topping got all over the cheese buns and plain croissant due to her jamming all six items into one bag. Fortunately, it was all still good, just a little weird to have the flavours all mixed together in such a way. Had that been our first experience, we may have not returned. read more

Picked up a milk chocolate cake for my wife's birthday. Milk & white chocolate shavings on the top and sides. Very tasty - only complaint was that the raspberries on top were dried out. Otherwise, delicious & nice-looking cake. read more

After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. The shop is small, but has a decent selection of pastries. I immediately felt like I was France again from the magnificent aroma of fresh cooked pastries and breads. The chef has the thickest French accent, and was so delightful. Clearly puts a lot of love into her work. I wound up ordering a cookie, Mille-feuille, and a mini cake. Everything was delicious, and my partner loved it. I was really hoping to find a tarte tropézienne, but sadly they didn't have them. I am in the process of contacting the owners via email to see if they can make them. If I get a YES I will add a note to the page. Overall this place is amazing. I have had the opportunity to take a short sabbatical, and go all along the coast of south France so I can definitely say that what they make is true French quality. These Croissants are the only authentic French croissants I've found in America. The pastries are buttery and delicious. The cake is soft, light and airy. Absolutely delicious. No complaints! Staff are friendly. Their entremets are all frozen, so forget to eat right away. Cannele was horrible. No flavor os rum syrup at all, I could eat. The espresso entremet tasted like fridge/frozen, no flavor of coffee, I have to throw away. Coconut entremet was ok. The only one that was very good, my congratulations was the feuilletine, a lot of textures and very flavorful. read more

Wow !! Amazing bakery!! The reviews were right....run don't walk here. I've been to Paris. This place is on point. My only complaint would be their coffee selection. Cafe Bustelo. A lower quality, Cuban style coffee now owned by Smuckers. Never was a fan of it. Some people like it if it has tons of sugar added. I digress. I'd like to see a nice "French Roast" or Espresso roast to pair with these unbelievable amazing bakery items. But I get it, it's a bakery not a coffee shop. Service is fast and friendly. Everything I've tried was amazing. Will have to stay in the gym a little longer now, but it's worth it. read more

I stopped in to the bakery around 5ish. The shop is small, very cute and tucked in the shopping strip, easily missed. Some things were sold out. I did try the chocolate chip cookie- I mean it's my fav so I had to see a French take on it. It reminded me of a shortbread cookie, as I bit into it, it crumbled. The Choco chips used were the really tiny ones. I would not get this one again. I prefer my cookies more goey and moist. I tried their coconut pyramid- I love coconut. This one was also a little dryer than I like. The taste was good. The almond croissant- it was really good. Would recommend. Even this late in the day... I would have that again. Amazing place! Very cozy small bakery with high standards! It was my first time and a nice lady with a French accent was very helpful. Got one desert based on her recommendations and it was the best! Something similar to Opera, so so good. The others were pretty tasty too but THE LARGE MACAROON IS COMPLETELY FROSEN INSIDE! Finished the other half of it on the next day, such a big difference. I'd recommend to check the fridge temperature cause it ruined the taste of the macaroon. But overall, a great place and defiantly coming back again thank you very much read more

Le Petit Paris in Winter Garden (off of 50/Colonial) shares the same parking lot with Frozen Cow Ice Cream. Previously named Pane d'Or , the new name makes it pretty clear what to expect. They are festively decorated for the season and I was quickly welcomed when I went in. I loved all of their decor, but was immediately drawn to the case of French pastries, colorful cake pops and artisan breads. Just like before, all the items are made in house - but I was extremely pleased to find my favorite loaf of rustic bread ... the Salted Rosemary loaf. I coupled that with their Espresso Cake found in their cold case and I was all set. I noticed they had a self with prepacked French cookies, but also handmade chocolates at checkout. They have an assortment of gift type options. And they also offer coffee, lattes, sandwiches and food items for lunch. FOOD // The espresso cake was beautifully layered with a chocolate cake round, topped with espresso cream covered in a delicate whipped cream. This lovely little cake was full of espresso flavor which paired nicely with the cake. Not overly sweet, this hit all the right notes. The star for me was the rustic salted rosemary loaf. This artisan bread is a great host gift (or afternoon snack, in our case.) The loaf has rosemary baked throughout the bread; the crust is crunchy and nicely coated with sea salt and rosemary before baked. This is made from a sourdough starter, meaning it's better for you than white breads. While I was there, their head baker was painstakingly hand-painting their seasonal pumpkin cookies. It was very zen-like watching her work. But that's the kind of quality to expect from a local shop like this! My hope is this is everyone's go to for breads and pastries - but I do believe they will need to increase awareness of their location. This bakery has some amazing items in it. We had been looking for some options after our trip to France this past summer. We have tried a variety of items at this location and all have met or exceed our expectations (cookies, croissants, quiche, eclairs). This is a quiet place tucked back in the shopping center. I think I came at an off time, I ordered a cromelette bacon which looked like a croissant-type pastry with bacon, egg, and cheese. Unfortunately it was very stale and greasy and barely had any flavor. I liked the sable chocolate cookies, they were nice and crispy and would go well with tea. Maybe I went on an off day, but I wasn't overly impressed by selection or flavor. I wanted a pick me up, so ordered a chocolate almond croissant (which they usually only have on Saturdays at the Winter Garden Farmers Market so I guess it was my lucky day getting it at the bakery like that.) I just found it to be slightly bland. The croissant was hard and not super pillowy and buttery. There wasn't nearly enough almond filling to be billed as a chocolate almond croissant either. I first encountered Le Petit Paris at the Winter Garden farmer's market. They always have a good selection there and the people covering the booth are always friendly. I didn't realize they had a physical store until the other day. I drove up there and found so many yummy things! They have a larger selection than their farmer's market spread including cakes and chocolates. I had to get some of their bread, croissants, and Mont Blanc cake. Delicious as usual. For the past few years I have enjoyed getting baked good from this booth at Celebration and Winter Garden farmers markets. But something has changed. The filled croissant at times, especially today were dried out, hard. The bread isn't delicious as it usually is. Two weeks ago bought a sourdough bread that was probably rustic French. Dry, tasteless. They are not labeled-just placed on shelves so hard to know if miss placed. I even watched the guy refill the shelf and took one he just stocked. This is a booth that sold amazing baked goods. I hope it goes back. read more

We bought a beautifully made Easter cake from this French bakery located in the same shopping plaza as Frozen Cow. It was the perfect end to a holiday meal. The cake was wonderfully decorated and tasted great. It's pretty filling with a heavy buttercream filling so a small slice is more than enough. This bakery also has great French bread and has a stand at the downtown Winter Garden Farmers Market. Highly recommend for delicious bread and tasty pastries. read more

This is a very small mom and pop bakery but it has top notch pastries and breads. I find myself going every weekend to get croissants for my girlfriend. They are a tiny bit pricy at 3 dollars a piece but believe me when I say they are absolutely divine. I've had croissants from The Glass Knife and I very much prefer the ones from Le Petit. The owners are very nice, on the weekends I'd go a little earlier because a lot of things tend to sell out. Tons of parking available so you won't have to worry about that. Le Petit Paris is the dessert arm of this French bakery. First thing to know is that when you drive up, it shares the storefront with Pan D'Or, and Pan D'Or is the main sign on the storefront. So, don't get confused! I ordered 3 chocolate eclairs and 2 chocolate danishes. I didn't realize when I ordered that the chocolate eclairs would be filled with chocolate.. but they were. So know that when you're ordering! The chocolate filling was divine--almost mousse-like in its richness. The chocolate danishes were perfectly flaky and delicious, and while they weren't supremely chocolate-y, the pastry/chocolate ratio was on point. I was able to call to reserve my pastries, which was awesome! I can't wait to come back and try more of their offerings. read more

The olive sourdough bread is great. The pretzel roll is super. Everything I've tried so far is super delicious. BTW: all the flour used in this shop comes from France, and doesn't have some of the impurities we have in some of the wheat in the USA. These people really know how to bake. Go by and try them! Le Petit Paris is located in Pane D' Or. The gentleman working there said that Pane D' Or sold again and the new owners will keep both names for one location. There is probably a better explanation but for now it has both signage and the employees are new to me. They displayed most of the same sweet treats as the previous owners. When I walked in I was greeted by an employee who was very nice. I immediately noticed that some of macarons looked sloppy. They were not shaped correctly and you could tell that they did not rise properly. I have made that baking mistake before and they still tasted great so I picked two flavors that looked the best out of the bunch. When I got home I realized that the the inside of the macarons were loaded with filling and this disguised just how poorly the cookie was really made. The taste was awful on both the cookie and the filling. I also bought a piece of bread pudding. It tasted old and was dry. I noticed that a photo was taken two days before my visit and in it was one piece of bread pudding. I'm thinking that because of the taste and dryness it is a possibility that that's the same lone piece that I purchased. I tossed out the chocolate cake without trying it and I am fairly certain that I will not return for any of the sweets. The bread still looks amazing. read more

I've never been to the physical store location because they are always at the Winter Garden Farmers Market. I regularly grab a loaf of their multigrain bread for my (almost daily) avocado toast. I'm drooling just thinking about it! Their bread is so fresh and wonderful! I've also tried the sourdough and rosemary breads and they didn't disappoint either. My husband loves their Drops and every other pastry he's had--and he's had a lot of them. Stop by their store or Saturdays market and support carbs and this small business! read more

I have a soft spot for French pastries. Vive la France! I had been wanting to try Le Petit Paris for a long time and it finally happened today. We ordered the Espresso (mousse dessert) and the Feuilletine. Both looked stunning but I have to say they looked better than they tasted. At a price tag of $7 each, one does reserve the right to be extra critical. They were frozen, so we could not eat them on-site as we had planned. They were acceptable but not delicious. Their $3 croissants looked like they might be good, but I did not try them. I can't say that I would come back. read more

We have been going to Le Petit Paris for almost two years now. We love their selection of pastries, cakes, breads, etc. Real french bakery! But today was a somewhat disappointment! All the shelves were empty and only a few items available. The attendant said it was because they had a very busy morning. I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt, but at the same time I am worried that the issue was something else. Is the first time we see that issue and we have been there a lot of times, and most of the times around noon or somewhat later and always saw a complete selection of items. read more

Poor Experience. We went to the Farmers Market in Winter Garden and thought we would try a Baguette from them as we heard they had great bread. When we arrived it appeared they were closing down, but they had the baguettes right there, when we asked we got told rudely by the male cashier, WERE CLOSED. Wow, so we went down to another vendor who also was closing but happy to make a sale. On the trip back we came back by and saw that I guess they really weren't closed, as they now were selling to other families. I guess we were not the right type of customer. I guess selective business still does exist, even in Winter Garden. If you decide to support this business, just understand what you are supporting. Hope this experience shared will change how businesses like this allow staff to operate on their behalf. read more

This is the first time we ordered from this bakery. We ordered 4 chocolate Croissants 3 egg clairs and 2 chocolate chip cookies. There was hardly any chocolate on the Croissants the egg clairs tasted like the refrigerator chocolate chip cookies were like a cake.
