Chris and the rest of the staff are very pleasant and got my car fixed which needed a whole new door, pretty quickly.

I brought my car to Dave, the owner of north shore autobody of Danvers. When I brought my estimate…read morefrom my insurance, he stated to me that He will call my insurance company and have them double my estimate so he can pocket the extra money. He then charged me an extra 150 dollars on top of the extra money he got from my insurance company, because he lied about how much the insurance company pays for labor. He also said he charges extra 150 dollars because of the superior work that his business does as opposed to other auto body shops. On top of all this, I had to bring my car back to the shop because they did not properly finish the job and reconnect rear lights which is a safety issue his excuse was my technician said that the car was all set. That is terrible and shorty work on his part to let that car leave his shop with the break lights not working! I would never take another car there because of the poor quality of work and the greed of the owner Dave, who cares about making money and screwing people over rather than just being honest and doing quality work for the money that they are allotted through the insurance company. In closing, he stated to me that I just have to submit paperwork to my insurance company to retrieve my 150 dollars back. The insurance company laughed at me and said he straight lied to you, and NO OTHER AUTO BODY SHOP ON THE BORTH SHORE CHARGES ANY ADDITIONAL FEE.

From the very beginning, Dan went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth, seamless, and completely worry-free. Not only were the repairs handled with exceptional quality and efficiency, but what truly stood out was the remarkable attention to detail. Dan and the team took the extra step of identifying and correcting additional minor issues that I hadn't even noticed--at no extra charge. That level of care and integrity is rare and deeply appreciated. What could have been a very uncomfortable situation was handled with professionalism, transparency, and genuine kindness. I never once felt stressed or uncertain--Dan made sure I was taken care of every step of the way. I couldn't be more pleased with the experience and the results. If you're ever in need of someone you can truly trust after an accident, the team at Today's Collision in Danvers and Dan O'Callaghan is the person to call. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I didn't have an appointment, but in less than 10 mins, Dan popped the panel back into place and wiped off the garage paint that got onto the car. While not perfect (since the panel was a little bent), you really can't even tell. And, on top of the quick fix, no charge!! They could have recommended $3k in repairs to replace the front body panel, but instead they went down this more practical and quick route. Highly recommend them!

I was a recent customer with very simple, straightforward damage from a parking lot accident…read more Quite honestly, a little paint was scraped off and my bumper had a scrape. To address this minor damage, Ira Collision took over two weeks to complete the work. This facility is a huge warehouse and I really don't believe they even looked at my vehicle until I checked in after a few days. On top of the long time it took to complete the work, there was never any communication. I only received updates on my vehicle when I contacted them. In fact, the first and only proactive communication I received was an automated text message that was my vehicle was ready for pick up - sent over an hour after I picked it up! The digital invoice sent to me indicated that I owed nothing. On the day I picked up the vehicle, they said I owed $500. There is no cohesion between their operations and what they attempt to communicate. Although my car insurance covered most of my car rental during this time, I still owed fees out-of-pocket. Around day ten when the sales rep still didn't have an idea of when I could pick up my vehicle, I shared my frustration on the timeline and the expenses I was paying due to their delays. I asked for a detail to compensate for my troubles and out-of-pocket expenses, and he agreed that would be arranged. When I picked up my vehicle today, the dashboard and interior had been wiped down but that was it. They didn't even bother to vacuum. When I questioned the rep, he said that a detail was an expense for them and he couldn't approve it. I'm sorry but a detail might be something they charge for, but it does not cost them anything. I've been to other dealerships and car repair that provide this courtesy without even asking. This business could have taken ownership that they were in the wrong and they couldn't even bother to provide a small courtesy for a major inconvenience. Don't bother giving them the courtesy of your business.

This place is a laughable excuse for a body shop. Let me list some of the things that went on…read moreduring the 31 days it took them to fix a small crack in my bumper!!!! no particular order: - Our estimator Yomerys Lora went weeks without answering emails. - Yomerys answered her phone roughly 5% of the time during business hours and literally never returned a voicemail. - I had to resort to calling other department and estimators and asking them to put her on the phone. - They closed for COVID cleaning for 5 days and didn't notify me. - Straight up lied about the progress of my vehicle, one person said it had been painted and ready to cleaned, the next week someone else said it still had to be painted. - 0 communication the whole time, and no compensation offered despite holding my car hostage for a MONTH with no estimated timeline of completion. God forbid it was a serious repair, I might not see my car until 2022, and I'm not exaggerating! I used to work at IRA Subaru and shared a work space with the auto body shop so I'm not surprised by the lack of professionalism, but this experience took it to a WHOLE NEW LOW. Tl:dr - These guys are a bunch of crooks, they'll spout whatever BS they can to get you off the phone so they can go home and neglect your car repair for another week. As for Yomerys, take some pride and give a little bit of effort in your job. You can't blame COVID for all your shortcomings and pathetic lack of communication skills. There are plenty of other places to get your car fixed. Take someone who has seen it from the inside as an employee and now as a customer. DON'T waste your time with IRA collision.
