Tech showed up, spent 5 minutes with the item and charged 150 trip fee plus another 80 for a part and a fuel surcharge. Literally 5 minutes.... Work was done but it was a very simple repair. Take your business elsewhere as this seemed a bit outrageous. I would understand if they ended up spending 45 min or so on the labor but to charge 150 for 5 minutes if labor is excessive.

I am a customer of Silver Creek and have been for about 18 months now. It's a great place, and I've taken several folks there to buy direct. Mostly, I'll have a contractor pick up for me, or I'll buy some bags cause it's easy (Bulk is way cheaper if you need a lot!) ... They will even tell you that! They are big on doing the RIGHT thing for their customers. They take a long-term attitude to doing good business. So, today is the first time I've scheduled them for a delivery. Let's just say there was an account/paperwork 'SNAFU', and when I did not hear from them by ~12:30 I thought I better call, as they close @ 1:00. Glad I did. They had set up another account, and it had an error in the number and e-mail. Bummer. It was close to closing time.... They could have said "sorry about that, we'll call on Monday". But here's the deal. They didn't. Irma worked to recall a driver and Josh stepped up to manage the process. When I let them know that I had scheduled a crew to come out Sunday early to spread the dirt, they jumped into action. The made things happen fast. This is a testament to how they handle service and support. I was a bit disappointed at first, cause the contractor I am using wanted/needed the extra work. It's the holidays, and $$$ is tight for everyone. But they solved that ASAP. Silver Creek Materials for the Win! Also; many thanks to Senor' Sigala of Sigla's Trucking for a PRO DELIVERY! Thank you to the quick action of Josh, Irma, the driver & loader, and the entire Silver Creek Crew. They pulled this off ASAP! If you've never looked at everything they do, and what they sell, it's a treat. Well, to me anyway. It's a cool place to go visit if you care about your yard/lawn, landscaping, or if you are a gardener. Especially if you are a gardener! They are the place to go. I can tell you that with certainty. They are the biggest/best in DFW, and they have what I believe is the absolute best soil for gardening. Bella Flora. Pro Tip: If you visit them in person, when leaving, take the time to go into Fort Worth on Jacksboro Highway (199) into Fort Worth, take a right on University and a left on White Settlement. About 2 miles down on the right is Angelo's BBQ. Order a "Lean, sliced all the way with cheddar cheese' and enjoy some world class BBQ. Thank you to the team @ Silver Creek!

Highly recommended Bryan & the DFW crew. Best in the biz!…read more From my initial consultation with Bryan was courtesy of my time, called me prior to arriving. The consultation meeting was great, we chatted about products, colors & layouts to help me navigate through this process. The great thing is that bryan took his time to show me these items instead of looking at the area and quoting me a price to see if I wanted to proceed as many others took this approach. I wanted to make sure the foundation & trust of knowing who I would hire would be the right candidate for the project. After our meeting Bryan was able to send me a quote via text of what we discussed. We received on site paver samples, I then chatted it over with the wife and we both agreed to proceed with DFW. During the installation, Bryan was very easy to get a hold of by phone or by text. We would review a few items over the phone / text then we would set up a time to meet prior to the next step of the install. Timing of things were awesome! The crew worked hard and cleaned up every day. Before we knew it we had a brand new patio space. Thank you Bryan and the DFW staff!

We have shopped here for a good while and spent a good deal of money at this nursery. They have a good variety and have had good success with our plants. We purchased 3 shrubs (plant in ground) and 3 plants (container) to go around our pool. Within 30 days, despite our effort to help them, they started to brown and drop leaves. We continued to try and help them rally but they continued to die. At about 60 days we took them back to find they only offer 7 day return policy. No store credit, no refund--nothing. This was a total of $200 gone. We have never been told of their policy for returns, it's "on the receipt". All other places we have bought from have a return of 6-12 months. We were shocked and saddened to see their response -- which we were told is because we hand water, no irrigation system and therefore had zero chance of any form of return service. We will not return and hope this helps others not make the same mistake as us.
