We have shopped here for a good while and spent a good deal of money at this nursery. They have a good variety and have had good success with our plants. We purchased 3 shrubs (plant in ground) and 3 plants (container) to go around our pool. Within 30 days, despite our effort to help them, they started to brown and drop leaves. We continued to try and help them rally but they continued to die. At about 60 days we took them back to find they only offer 7 day return policy. No store credit, no refund--nothing. This was a total of $200 gone. We have never been told of their policy for returns, it's "on the receipt". All other places we have bought from have a return of 6-12 months. We were shocked and saddened to see their response -- which we were told is because we hand water, no irrigation system and therefore had zero chance of any form of return service. We will not return and hope this helps others not make the same mistake as us.

I am a customer of Silver Creek and have been for about 18 months now. It's a great place, and I've taken several folks there to buy direct. Mostly, I'll have a contractor pick up for me, or I'll buy some bags cause it's easy (Bulk is way cheaper if you need a lot!) ... They will even tell you that! They are big on doing the RIGHT thing for their customers. They take a long-term attitude to doing good business. So, today is the first time I've scheduled them for a delivery. Let's just say there was an account/paperwork 'SNAFU', and when I did not hear from them by ~12:30 I thought I better call, as they close @ 1:00. Glad I did. They had set up another account, and it had an error in the number and e-mail. Bummer. It was close to closing time.... They could have said "sorry about that, we'll call on Monday". But here's the deal. They didn't. Irma worked to recall a driver and Josh stepped up to manage the process. When I let them know that I had scheduled a crew to come out Sunday early to spread the dirt, they jumped into action. The made things happen fast. This is a testament to how they handle service and support. I was a bit disappointed at first, cause the contractor I am using wanted/needed the extra work. It's the holidays, and $$$ is tight for everyone. But they solved that ASAP. Silver Creek Materials for the Win! Also; many thanks to Senor' Sigala of Sigla's Trucking for a PRO DELIVERY! Thank you to the quick action of Josh, Irma, the driver & loader, and the entire Silver Creek Crew. They pulled this off ASAP! If you've never looked at everything they do, and what they sell, it's a treat. Well, to me anyway. It's a cool place to go visit if you care about your yard/lawn, landscaping, or if you are a gardener. Especially if you are a gardener! They are the place to go. I can tell you that with certainty. They are the biggest/best in DFW, and they have what I believe is the absolute best soil for gardening. Bella Flora. Pro Tip: If you visit them in person, when leaving, take the time to go into Fort Worth on Jacksboro Highway (199) into Fort Worth, take a right on University and a left on White Settlement. About 2 miles down on the right is Angelo's BBQ. Order a "Lean, sliced all the way with cheddar cheese' and enjoy some world class BBQ. Thank you to the team @ Silver Creek!

We have been in our home and property for 23+ years. We have used many Landscape Companies and…read morehave never been satisfied until we discovered James Landscaping. We had a large scope (our property is over 7 acres) and spent about half a day walking the property and discussing our thoughts. When we received the design, it was almost perfect! But we knew the design was the "easy" part...the execution of the design was the difficult and more important part of the project. Well, we can hardly find the right words for how smooth the installation happened! The installation Team was absolutely amazing! The Supervisors communicated great during the project but what really exceeded our expectations was the very few questions they had to ask us. That was because the Design was so well documented, the install Team had a near perfect roadmap to make the design come to life. All members of the team were friendly, professional and had a strong desire to satisfy our needs. They also exhibited tremendous respect for our property. They were careful with driving their large trailers and they cleaned up the property EVERY day during the install! That's right! They cleaned up every single day! One of the biggest challenges we've had with other Landscapers was poor planting techniques which resulted in plants dying. This is one of James Landscaping's biggest strengths. They took great care when preparing the beds before planting. They removed about 8-10 inches of soil and replaced with an excellent mix of soil and compost. We know this will result in all the plants developing strong roots for lasting health in our crazy Texas weather. We highly recommend James Landscaping for your landscaping projects especially very large ones. Unfortunately we know the initial and ongoing costs of poor landscaping (especially for large properties). We are VERY fortunate to have used James Landscaping...we wished we would have used them 20 years ago!!

I had a hard time walking on the existing walkway and had to be careful not to trip or fall. As the new walkway was being installed, I noticed the workers using string, levels and tape measures to ensure the walkway would be leveled. I also noted the amount of time they spent to chip away each flagstone so that it beautifully fit together. It made me feel that I was truly getting a custom built walkway. Since completion, I have felt very safe walking on the walkway and never get the sense that I'm walking on flagstones. My yard had several areas where I had a hard time growing plants. They filled in empty areas with native plants. They did an incredible job and I'm very, very pleased.
