Last week, I reached out to the company regarding a water leak issue and explained our situation. The customer service representative was very accommodating--she took my information and advised that a project manager would be in touch. I didn't have to wait long at all. PM Andy called me shortly after and scheduled an immediate inspection of our home. Although Andy could have scheduled us for a later date, he sensed the urgency of our situation and was kind enough to work around my availability. He came first thing in the morning shortly after our initial call. I was extremely impressed and grateful for the company's fast response. Andy kept an open line of communication, patiently answering all our questions and guiding us on next steps while we were completely clueless about the process. Today, I wasn't expecting another call from MD Restoration, but my husband had been in contact with Andy, who helped us get the dehumidifier scheduled. Around a little past 3 p.m., Yonell called me. I missed her first call, but she left a voicemail and followed up just minutes later. When I answered, Yonell was truly a breath of fresh air. After a long workday, her jolly and upbeat personality helped me de-stress immediately. Even though it was near the end of the day, she was still lively, positive, and a pleasure to speak with. She promptly scheduled herself and her team to come out right away with the necessary equipment for dehumidification of our Mikasa. Yonell arrived exactly as scheduled, and she and her partner completed their tasks efficiently. What made the experience truly memorable was her exceptional customer service--fun and lively, yet still professional. I genuinely enjoyed working with her and wouldn't mind working with her again. Because this was an insurance claim they thought we would never see the bill, they never even showed us the work to be done prior to starting. We payed $16k and they left the house with open walls and slides door jams. They commuted building fraud, For example I was charged over $1200 for 5hours and three men to move one couch and one table to the garage you can clearly see on the camera that took about 20minutes.Says doors and window treatments were removed and replaced I was charged for that, they were never removed. Airtight zipper chamber I was charged ridiculous amounts for these things that never happened. When I reached out to welton and his supervisor Tammy nothing was done, they didn't even respond. Next I'll be contacting BBB. Stay away from this company they are thieves, they take advantage of people. Very shady business.

They are like my uncles and cousin cuz they treat you with politeness and care. I had gone out before 6:39 a.m. to buy some sliders to help with the move in of our wrapped and stored bigger furniture. They listened very carefully to my requests of putting the "no rush to open" boxes in one area of the room. Hubs broken record of don't buy anymore furniture(how bossy)...so...the men moved the lighter colored furniture to the extension where I watch my Kdrama and the brown pieces to hiis tv room aka tinier wannabe man cave. They removed all trash with them and are professional in everything they do. Nimblest, strongest, gentle employees, all 3 of them. How such svelte men could lift, push, bend to get the furniture to their old stomping ground is beyond me. Whoever does the hiring of personnel is excellent. Thanks to Servpro and Perfection Flooring about 3 pm a plumbing coordinator came to our front door. She said I've been to many houses, this is a nice house as she entered. I found this company through Yelp and Christian quickly reached out to me. He was extremely professional, communicating clearly and always arrived on time like he had conveyed. He moved our (heavy) appliances and furniture out of the way to get his fans set up to start drying out the walls. He stopped by every day to check in on the walls and once things were looking good, he moved our appliances and furniture back where they were. Christian was quick, efficient, and helpful. This was the third time we've had this happen and without a doubt, he is the best professional we've had wh. Whatever he's charging is well worth it! Side note, we only had pictures of the water bubble but he also patched up and repainted the spots he needed to open up for the fans to dry inside of the wall.

Careless Work After Asbestos Removal -- Damaged My Renovated Home…read more I hired this company for asbestos removal. The ceiling removal and painting were done well, but everything else was handled with no care at all. My home was fully renovated before the project, and now I'm left with damages everywhere. The walls near the ceiling were scratched, and they tried to cover it up with paint that's a different shade of white, which made it even more noticeable. My door is chipped, and they stapled into my wood floors without removing the staples. The bathtub coating is peeling and chipped in multiple spots (see photos). It was in perfect condition before, so it's clear they didn't protect the area during the work. I've already spent 6 hours just touching up the walls, and I still haven't even started fixing the bathtub damage. For a company dealing with something as sensitive as asbestos, I expected professionalism and care -- instead, I'm left with frustration and extra work. I would only recommend this company if you don't care about anything else except the one thing you hired them for. Otherwise, be prepared to spend your own time fixing the mess they leave behind.

We did request estimates from other abatement contractors. Although Kapili did not have the lowest estimate, they were competitive and stayed in close contact with us throughout the entire process before we made our decision. What made them stand out was their genuine concern to help us. We negotiated a fair price that was a "win-win" for both sides. Kapili initially gave us a 4 to 5 day removal time. To our surprise, he and his crew completed the removal in 2 days. We received our clearance by an independent lab after the 2nd day. All in all, we were very pleased with the service provided by Kapili's company. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking to test and remove abestos from their home.

Upon removing the guest bathroom toilet, the plumber found water leaking from the toilet wax ring. Upon removing the old paradigm flooring, installers found old flooring to be wet underneath and moisture leading down the hallway. Matt Wagner of Abbey Carpet was notified as all work stopped due to possibility of mold and mildew. Matt immediately called Premier Restoration Hawaii and Ryker Hyde came within hours. Ryker checked the complete area in the bathroom and hallway with his moisture reader and infrared imaging function and found no visible moisture or signs of mold or mildew and floor installation was able to continue 2 days later. Whew!!! Ryker advised spaying a preventative microbial application around the toilet wax ring as a precautionary measure before new flooring is installed. Ryker was so professional and thorough in checking and explaining everything to me, a senior who knows very little about plumbing. Ryker was so caring and helpful and did not charge anything for his inspection and work that day. Wonderful!!! I highly recommend Premier Restoration Hawaii and Ryker Hyde to anyone who faces a type of restoration problems. They are wonderful!!!

Estimates took over three months to calculate for a small apartment bathroom, which I suspect was nothing more than them dilly dallying as they immediately started when our manager sent them a strongly worded letter. There was a leak from the unit above, and the unit called this establishment. The unit's bathroom toilet pipe had been leaking and seeped into the walls and cabinets with mold starting to grow. Rescue One advised us not to remove the cabinets, so we left them on. Repair didn't start until THREE MONTHS LATER. They kept making excuses about how they were calculating stuff, etc... and we still had moldy cabinets on the walls, drenched in sewer water. Repairs finally began and they dropped the drywall they brought in, which broke. They tried to cover it up and told us that nothing was wrong when we asked. They left scratches on the walls, chips around the door frames, bathtub, and bathroom. They also installed the toilet bowl incorrectly, and the person surveying it looked annoyed when we mentioned it to them. They told us that the toilet roll holder was salvageable but the cabinets were not, so we bought a new cabinet but not a toilet roll holder. When everything was finished, we realized that they had silently replaced the old toilet roll holders with some cheap ones (which they later charged us for), which were placed so high up because the repairman was over six feet tall and didn't think to ask us (5 feet people) where we wanted it to be. When I sat on the toilet, the holder came up to my HEAD. The medicine cabinet was also placed too high (and crooked). We could hardly see our head in the mirror from how high they placed it and we had to ask that they redo it, which they looked extremely irritated and annoyed at. However, it was the repairman who came in and did everything without ever asking us about it, so whose fault was that, really?
