I have been to this Dentist for almost three years but this past month I have suffered from the Staff of the Dr for fraudulently charging me for covered reimbursement from Insurance company and fraudulent use of my credit card because the office Manger Becky demanded my credit card with the CVV code and used it fraudulently charging me twice and giving back one refund and telling the Insurance Representative had three way call with us . She lied to her and the credit card company. I have filed a complaint against the Dentist and the practice with Medical Insurance , the credit card company and Better Business Bureau about this incident . I am senior citizen who is going through a hard time and I told the Dr. who called " friend " that it was not right what he was doing . He tried to correct it but his office Manager seems to have more power over him . She issued a refund and promptly reversed it as it was a pending credit. I am now going through a lot of issues with credit card card company and faxing all the documents to them has costs over $10.00 . It has been pink put on hold but they have lost the trust factor. Hopefully I will prevail. But none should hand over details of a credit card over the phone because it can be fraudulently used and in this this case it has . The Dr the so called "friend" seems to be unaffected but I have told him I will filing fraud charges against him . Anyone going to this place of business beware of fraudulent charge and procedures done that were not allowed by the Insurance company so they can gouge with unnecessary charges and do not give out your credit card except in person. They have been rude as possible and acting like saints and lying . Something I with my medical situation can do without . Very poor and they lost two customers my wife and myself . I hope that people read this painful review of this Dental Place and find a more reputable place of business read more

Dr. Allen Faiz did several dental work on my mouth . Unfortunatly, he is not a good dentist. I had 3 dental implants with him. Those causing me problems. I have a food trap in one side and the bite was not right in Both sides( implsnts are in left and right sides) Dr. Faiz did not seem to agree with how the crowns were fitting. He tried to make me believed all was correct. Also the color of the crowms did not match . He also did a bridge and a crown which was very painful. My bridge never really fit well, the upper teeth do not met with the lower teeth on my right side. This had cause one of my lower tooth to receded which is causing me pain. Currently, I have bleeding on both sides of my mouth ( he did a crown on left upper side too). I also have ulcers on the side of the bridge and implant from time to time. He definetly did a poor dentsl work on my mouth. Now, I will have to find another dentist that can hopefully fix this problem. I am so traumatize now and don't trust any dentist. Save your money and unecesary pain and avoid this dentist . read more

This guy is horrible and rude. Our son is autistic and it's a struggle to find providers who accept Medicaid. Faiz is close so we gave him a try. Our son is very sensitive to touch and, like many special needs people, was very hesitant about receiving dental treatment. Instead of trying to understand my son's disability and trying to console him, Faiz screamed at my son and then screamed at my wife. They were both very scared when they left his office. Needless to say, we never went back. I would stay as far away as possible from this place. I cannot verify this but I think Faiz billed Medicaid for services that he did not do. As others have documented, he is sneaky. read more

I feel compelled to write a review after I learned that a relative of mine went here and had a bad experience. His story was that he went here and had his teeth cleaned, and then the dentist started poking around his gums and saying that he had numerous issues that needed to be treated. He went to a second dentist, who said that his teeth were totally healthy and didn't need any treatment! Who was correct - the second doctor not wanting to write a large bill of treatment, or the first? I personally went here a few years back because it's down the street from me. The thing I remember most was that my gums felt like they were being stabbed by the assistant and it was super painful. I suppose I didn't have any issues, but I never went back because of the pain and disdain I felt the dental assistant had towards me. read more

The best dental experience that I've ever had my entire life . The staff were really friendly and nice and professional. Dr Faiz was really really professional and nice and was explaining all the X-rays and the entire process step by step. He made sure I was totally comfortable during the entire time . I really appreciate their honest work . read more

Absolutely the WORST dentist I've visited. Stay away unless you like long wait times and quotes for hundreds of dollars or more of work other dentists have NEVER said that you needed. This was the preferred office for my new dental insurance, so I called to schedule an appt. The office was closed, so I left a message. I also completed an appt request through the office's website. No one contacted me after about a week and a half, which, in my opinion, is unprofessional. I should have known not to visit this office at that moment. I finally called back again and let the receptionist know that I had requested callbacks twice without anyone returning my call. While scheduling the appointment, the receptionist never let me know that I wouldn't be getting a cleaning on the first visit, which was the purpose of me making the appt. Fast forward to the first visit, I spend about an hour at the back getting all these x-rays, and Dr. Faiz tells me all the expensive work I need done on my teeth, almost $1,000 of work. I told one of the employees I was not getting most of that work done and would consider one of the recommendations because another dentist did tell me I needed it done. I then had to come back next week for the cleaning. When I returned next week for the cleaning, I asked the receptionist if she lets new patients know that they wouldn't be getting a cleaning on the first visit, and she claimed that she ALWAYS lets ppl know. Lies you tell, because you certainly did NOT tell me that! Moving forward to 12/24, my appointment is at 11:00, and I go back around 11:15, 11:20 after another patient who hadn't even scheduled an appt wks in advance was called back. I know this because the receptionist and the patient's mom were talking, and the mom said that she didn't expect to be at the dentist's office today and that she called for an emergency appt. Around 12:00, Dr. Faiz finally comes to my room to tell some corny story that I don't want to hear and then numbs me for my filling, saying he'll be back in a few minutes. A few minutes ends up being around 12:40, at which time he apologizes for taking so long, saying that he had two emergency patients that he had to see so they wouldn't have to wait until Thursday to be seen. Who gives two flying flips?! You already have patients waiting with appts scheduled weeks in advance, and you made them wait hours for services. You should have seen the patients you already scheduled in a timely manner and told those emergency patients you would see them AFTER your previously scheduled patients. I ended up leaving the office after 1:00 for an 11:00 appt. I would rather let all my teeth fall out than visit this dentist if he was the last dentist on earth. read more

My primary care physician recommended Dr. Faiz as my other dentist had moved some time ago and I had unfortunately neglected my teeth - for way too long. I had many issues and I was very nervous about what it might cost and the PAIN. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! The staff is very friendly and he is very knowledgeable, thorough and his chair side manner is great. He is very gentle ( actually makes sure you have NO discomfort) and explains everything in detail. I have been going to Dr. Faiz for over a year now and have had extensive work completed - effectively and with reasonable pricing. Most of all, my teeth look fabulous! I get so many compliments... I have referred friends to his practice and they also, have been very pleased. A five star review for certainly a five star dentist! read more

A year ago I had a root canal done by Doctor Faiz. It was excruciatingly painful, and he was very impatient and unkind with me. He injected me several times with Novocaine, which did nothing to help ease the pain. It was an agonizing and traumatic experience. I avoided going back to any dentist for months afterward, despite the pain I continued to experience in the same tooth Doctor Faiz had operated on. Finally I went to see a new dentist this year. He found that there was an infection under the root of the tooth, which Doctor Faiz COMPLETELY MISSED during my root canal. The infection has caused me a lot of pain, and has eaten away part of the root of my tooth. I now have to pay $1,000 to get Doctor Faiz's work undone by a specialist. Please learn from my experience and go somewhere else for your dental work! read more

Quick, painless. Great work done on my crown, fillings. Would recommend to friends and family.

The staff was nice but Dr. Faiz was condescending and needs to improve his listening skills/bedside manner. I can't speak for his dentistry because I only had x-rays and an exam but in that short time I realized that there is no way I would get my work done by him. read more

Horrible dentist. Do NOT go to him if you need dentures. 1. The temporary dentures he cast for us were horribly made; after the tooth removal, we went back over several weeks to try and get them to fit properly. They fit wrong, pinched, would not adhere, and caused my partner to gag. After giving up and going to a different dentist not covered by our insurance out of sheer desperation, we were told that they were badly made. While he was able to get them to fit somewhat better, it was more or less hopeless. We were out of pocket $1600 for these pieces of crap. My mother went through the same process three years ago (different dentist) and had nothing like this occur. 2. He sent my partner for a round of audioplasty six weeks after tooth removal; we later found out this was a no-no, and the jaw should be allowed to remodel and adjust and should smooth out without additional surgery. If it does need surgery, it won't be a call a dentist can make for at least 6-8 months when the jaw has finished healing. So, additional unnecessary surgery. 3. Like the above, he wanted to schedule my partner for casting for his permanent set of dentures, 30 days after surgery. Like audioplasty, this isn't done for 6 to 8 months after the initial tooth removal, otherwise your jaw is still healing and changing shape. Casting this far out will result in dentures that do not fit later on. We had read up on-line on what to expect as a time-line for healing, and balked at doing this. Later, the 2nd dentist looked horrified by this suggestion. If we had done the above, we would have been paying out for a third set of dentures. At between $1600 to $2600, this is a pricey mistake! read more

Dr. Fiaz is a good dentist and his staff is friendly. They will stick you with a huge bill that they say the insurance will pay for and then a few months later go oh looks like you owe us $400. I sucked it up and paid them. Then went back in for a routine cleaning and they wanted to charge me a $50 deductible and $13 for my cleaning. I haven't paid them yet. $13 is fine $50 deductible for the heck of it and those nice receptionist can put on a little Jerry Springer swagger if you try to defend yourself. These guys are worse than used car salesmen. They flash you a big smile as they gouge you. Save your cash stay away. read more

I went to Dr. Faiz about 3 years ago when I got a new dental insurance. From the second I sat down in the chair they had a laundry list of things they said I needed done. I thought I was just going in for a routine check up and cleaning and I walked out with $1,200 worth of dental work done. One of those things was a root canal on a tooth that hadn't been bothering me at all, but I trusted the staff and went ahead and did it. 6 months later I go in for another check up and I told Dr. Faiz that I was having some discomfort and sensitivity in the root canal tooth, but he assured me that it wasn't possible because he performed my root canal and he told me everything was fine. So three years down the line I start having awful pain (on top of the mild discomfort I had been having for years that I just got used to) and went to see a dentist closer to me. This dentist says my root canal failed for a few different reasons... all leading back to how my first root canal was performed. I know this just happens sometimes especially when you get root canals performed in general dentistry offices but I really feel like my re-treatment root canal could have been avoided if Dr. Faiz would have listened to my concerns years ago. I wouldn't go here if I were you. read more

Dr. Faiz is awesome. service is great, staff are kind and attending and almost no wait time. Strongly recommend them for your dental needs. 5 stars for sure read more

I hate dentists and I have lots of dental issues, but I love Dr Faiz and he takes really good care of me.

My tooth has 4 nerves. Dr. Faiz performed a root canal treatment on that tooth and only found 2 nerves. But he put a crown on it anyway instead of referring me to an endodontist. A year later, I lost that tooth and had to spend money on dental implant with another dentist and an oral surgeon. The ladies who do tooth cleaning are very thorough. I have always had great experience with them. read more

Please, read and don't get scammed like me!! If I could give this place a half a star I would!! First, does anyone realize how old the facility, and equipment looks so old and outdated. It screams makeover! Second, the forms you fill out are not typical forms for a dentist. They are all worded to protect himself from a lawsuit, if he messes up anything. It's very disturbing. Third, please don't buy in his sweet talk, and confusing way to manipulate for his recommended treatment. He is all about the money, and not the satisfaction of the procedures performed. Someone explain to me how within 5 months a root canal with 4 roots, a post-plus a crown go bad!! I had to sign a waiver so that I don't come back to sue him, and he refunded my money. Obviously, he isn't a endodonist specialist, and he messed my root canal up. Now I'm living the nightmare of having to find someone to trust, which I don't trust anyone right now, to fix this abscess tooth. For the record, his reputation follows him. He has does this to family members I know, and now myself. I'm sure there are more horrid stories than mine. Please, find another trusting dentist. Not this hungry money crook!!! read more

So I was in search for a new dentist and stumbled upon this place because it was right across the street from my school. So I scheduled a cleaning which is always free with my insurance. After my cleaning I scheduled an appointment to have my cavities filled. At this time the lady at the front told me I would need another cleaning, which I've never even heard of before, I usually just get two a year. Anyway so I schedule my cavity filling, pay them $400+ cash right after. Had my cleaning done. Then all of a sudden a bill for $78 comes in the mail. I call and ask what it's for and she says its for my first cleaning. Said my insurance didn't cover it. Umm bish whet?! In all of my many years of going to the dentist I have never ever paid for a cleaning. They include this extra cleaning just to get more money from you. Why not tell me upfront I would have to pay for it?! Smh. NEVER EVER going back there!! They are thieves! read more

I am, actually I was someone that was petrified of dentists. Until I met Dr Allen Faiz. I had a history of poor dentistry years ago, and this year I had to see a dentist (I had not been for about 8 years). I was so nervous I couldn't sleep for days before going to the dentist, I was so worried. Until I met Dr Faiz. He explains everything, he then makes sure you are comfortable. His main priorities are your comfort. Slight bit of pain, he stops, numbs and then waits for it to work and verifies no feeling and then continues. I used to go to dentists that would inject and start drilling straight away, you would be numb after the pain had occurred. I have had 3 fillings 1 root canal and 4 crowns. I didn't feel a thing. I was so relaxed and my worries have dissipated. He has a good humor and his comforting manner is just that, comforting. Then there are the nurses, they too are awesome. They put you at ease, explain what's going on. I need to specifically thank Maria and Norma. The nurses are with you the whole time, they rarely leave your side and they are so attentive and caring. Finally, reception staff are curteous, understanding and just lovely caring people. They again, explain everything and remember you. This morning they were asking after my tooth pain I had been having prior to last visit. So I can highly recommend this practice, and this is from someone that has been nervous of dentists his whole life, but no more thanks to all these people. read more

Zero stars! I'm so over this dentist! My husband and I had an appointment scheduled for Saturday at 9 o'clock, we arrive 10 minutes early and walk up to the doors which were locked and that's fine it's not 9 o'clock when the business opens. we wait around and wait around and wait around, we called and by now it's after 9 o'clock, it's 915 and no body is there, nobody's answering the phone, nothing. We never received a phone call saying our appointment was canceled or is at a different location or anything. it was confirmed that we had the appointment for today. They have rescheduled us at least 3 times and never follow through with their appointments. SO VERY DISPLEASE! We will not be coming back to this dentist, EVER! read more

I went to Dr. Faiz a few years ago for a routine cleaning. I was very young, just starting college and still on my parent's insurance. After my exam, I was told I needed a filling. Most dentists that I've been to schedule fillings for a later time, but at this point a lady showed up with a clipboard full of forms- threw some numbers at me and then had me sign something. It was very hesitant to sign before talking to my parents about the cost but Dr. Faiz said this needed to be taken care of immediately. He said it was a shallow filling and I didn't need a shot. Right. Well, that didn't go so well and he hit the nerve pretty quickly. Overall a very horrible experience. I was taken advantage of and my parents hit the roof when they got the bill. read more

More, more, more. Have never been there when he does not tell me I need to come back for something more. I have made appointments for check-up and cleaning, and then when I got there, was told that I would have to make a 2nd appointment for cleaning because the hygienist wasn't there that day, or because I had only made an appointment for a check-up. Not true! Also, I have gotten there for appointments and then told that Dr. Faiz was not in that day, so I would need to reschedule. Unfair and unethical! read more
