I shopped around before settling on Willow Bend Orthodontics. Every other orthodontist I visited was charging way more for the same service (like 2 to 4 times more)! Not only is Dr. Jones less expensive, but she has a lot of experience, has a great bedside manner, and doesn't try to upsell you. I had braces when I was 16 but never wore my retainer. Therefore, my teeth had shifted a bit. I got the invisalign 10 tray treatment and couldn't be happier with my results. If you are looking for an orthodontist - then go to Dr. Jones!! P.S. The previous willow bend orthodontist (Dr. Woodson) did my braces when I was 16 so this place has had a great reputation for DECADES! read more

I had completed a minor Invisalign set with another orthodontist but required a final "refinement" tray. Looking forward to completing the project and hoping to switch to a new orthodontist moving forward I called this location. Greeted kindly, I was told this location did take Invisalign transfers but I would have to agree to their billing terms (which I did) and submit paperwork to transfer my treatment/case from my previous ortho. I noted I did not want to notify/cut ties with my previous orthodontist unless I was sure I could receive service - I was indeed assured they would be able to help me. After providing all the transfer documents, this place went silent for a week. The second week I emailed and asked if I could help somehow and was told the orthodontist was out that week. The following week the orthodontist was "reviewing my case". The next week the orthodontist was "making a decision" and then just shy of a month from reaching out I received a letter noting that after reviewing my information, I was being refused service. I don't know what caused this decision, but I was never seen or consulted. I also confirmed they never received my case details so I can only guess this decision was due to a prejudice of some kind. Because I was forced to transfer my case but it was not taken, I was left in an awful position. They clearly didn't care. Luckily, my dentist stepped in and is trying another transfer from my original ortho. He noted my need is outrageously simple and didn't understand why I would have been turned away. While I have no problem with a business rejecting a patient, this one strung me along and jeopardized my progress / entire situation unnecessarily. Beyond the unclear rejection, it's apparent some processes need work here and this practice doesn't have their act together. Quite impressed. This is our 4th evaluation and our last. Miss Trina was extremely thorough in the review of the plan. Dr. Amerson was so kind and thorough as well. Our first ortho seemed so conservative that he didn't notice (or just didn't mention) the baby teeth that haven't grown roots, and are so far behind. He said this is a typical case and would put braces on tomorrow. The 2nd consultation the ortho suggested we see an oral surgeon before discussing a plan because of 2 baby teeth that haven't come out yet. She said we needed a different kind of X-ray that she didn't have. It was hard to get in with them anyway, plus that doctor is only there 1x a week, which is inconvenient for us. We briefly went over the x-ray they did take but not in detail. The 3rd doctor I was so impressed with that I decided this is who I want to go with - until they gave us the cost. They suggested 2 teeth pulled to let the baby teeth hopefully form roots plus a spacer to hold the teeth in place, and an expander. He gave us the reasons for all of these things, which all made sense. I decided since this is just the first doctor we are happy with, but so expensive, get at least 1 other opinion. Maybe we don't NEED an expander or surgery. Then we visited Dr. Amerson at Willowbend Orthodontics. She was just as detailed as the last one. She explained all of the issues/complications we have in detail. Actual photos of the current situation was printed, marking them up on special glossy printed paper, and answered all of my questions. Dr. Amerson explained what is good and what she is happy with and what she would like to see changed. They also suggested against pulling teeth right away, which is what the last one wanted, followed by a spacer. This one said wait 6 months, after taking the 3D X-ray and see if the roots change between now and then. I was preferring a conservative route anyway. She also suggested that in lieu of an expander for the top teeth, she would use a special type of bracket that will encourage the teeth to widen naturally. She showed me the difference between the normal one and this one. I will not be seeing anyone else. Such a great experience overall. I am happy with every aspect of this visit. read more

Dr. Jones and her staff are SO kind and helpful! They got me set up with clear aligners to correct my bite misalignment, and were so gracious in answering all of my questions and concerns. Their office and waiting room are very nice, and I have never had to wait long to be seen. read more

The most efficiently run office I've ever had the pleasure of being a patient. My dentist recommended two orthdontists when I expressed interest in Invisalign and this was the first office I went to. I know you're supposed to shop around but I really liked Dr. Jones and how the office was run. Fantastic support. Highly recommended! YMMV, but my experience is she gave me a 18-24 month estimate. Due to my 100% compliance with wearing the trays and rubber bands, I finished in about 10 months. read more

I decided to do treatment here because it was less expensive than other places but I regret it. I needed to get my edge to edge bite fixed and 2 years and $4,000 later, I'm still dealing with the same issue I signed a 12 month contract, Dr Jones told me she will try to finish treatment in 8-10 months but then she only gave me retainers/ invisalign for 4 months and of course that did not fix the issue and I had to fight her to get more retainers Dr Jones just pushed my upper teeth Forward leaving me with gaps of 2 mm between teeth and then she asked me to get 8 to 10 veneers to fix the gaps, do you how expensive those are? And I was not planning to do that. I still have 2 huge gaps and I always get food stuck there, my teeth are not even aligned I consulted with a couple of dentist and they agree Dr Jones did a poor job and now I need to find another place to start treatment again First appointment was great but as soon as you sign, they are going to try to get you out as fast and they can even if that means horrible results They are going to try to charge you for everything. they gave me a quote and sent a different price to my insurance They gave me night guards and I was told that if I need replacement I only had to pay $25 per guard as part of my plan/ treatment. Went there to get replacements and they said what they meant is that it was only $25 off of the $400 I need to pay for new guards read more

Dr. Jones is awesome! My daughter had Class 3 malocclusion and her molars didn't touch either. In other words a really bad underbite. Dr. Jones made my husband, our daughter and me so comfortable in explaining how she would fix the problem. My daughter was only 6 at the time so it was a pretty big deal for us to make sure she was comfortable. Our daughter loves going for her 6 week check ups and we've noticed a huge improvement in just 6 months. She can finally chew food and we just love her little smile! read more

I am almost done with my Invisalign and I love the results so far! The office is so personable and they are always in a good mood.
