Luna Flooring Gallery - New handscraped floors

Heather, I wanted…read moreto reach out to you relative to the outstanding service we recently received from Dan Visone from your Naperville Store and your installer Rafael (?) on 10/24/17. We began a complete remodel of our Naperville townhouse starting in February, 2017 . The final large decision was the staircase carpet runner. We looked at many local stores and the prices were shocking to us but there was an specific carpet runner, significantly higher than any others we saw, which we immediately fell in love with at another store. Immediately upon meeting Dan Visone we were drawn to his personality, his understanding of our needs, his knowledge of Luna's selection, and his follow up. Dan was a consummate professional in his approach. Luna's attractive pricing's and Dan's energy was the deciding point. As a realtor with Keller Williams Realty in Naperville, I meet many people who I know are self serving to you to better their opportunity in life. Dan, was only interested in making sure we were pleased with our carpet selection and service. Upon the installation date, we had the pleasure to meet Rafael (?). A hispanic crew leader who has been with Luna and/or carpet installing for 23-years. Family man with 4-kids from Berwyn/Cicero area (if this helps identify him better?) I told him his energy and enthusiasm for his work was impressive. He said we had made the right choice for carpeting and he was going to make it look impressive. Wow...He is such a great employee. As a business owner and technology sales person for my career, sales people do not get the positive acknowledgment they deserve for a very difficult position. You should be proud of your team who worked with us as we will recommend our friends and clients to see Dan at Luna for their future carpet needs. Keep up the good work,

Luna Flooring - My Neighbors New Floors!

Seen a few bad reviews, but Luna did an amazing job on my and my neighbors floors!…read more Wei's is my neighbors floors!

If we could give a "0" stars review, we would! Don't buy from Luna! Terrible customer service!…read more There is so much I could write here, but it would take too much of my time and our time has been wasted trying to reason with Luna! They don't take customer complaints seriously. Three case numbers were assigned to our contract question regarding why two different floor trims were listed for our LVT kitchen flooring. Not one person contacted us in response to the three case numbers opened on our behalf, and when the installers arrived the day after they were supposed to be here, they had a totally different and unacceptable color trim with them! At first, we asked if we could just get the flooring installed and have the correct trim installed on another day, we were told we could not! So, after a little back and forth between my husband and the installers while I was on the phone upstairs speaking to the installation manager, I returned downstairs to learn that the installers had to drive to Home Depot to get yet other colored quarter round trim pieces for the floor. Very reluctantly when they returned with a color we felt we could only tolerate, we said to proceed so we could get the work started since our home was so disrupted with emptying our kitchen and pantry of all things (furniture, etc.) two days earlier. We just wanted to get our flooring down! I asked how long would the job take them. "Two hours", one man said. This was at 10:22 A.M. They finished more than 7 hours later!! The floor itself looked very nice; however, after they left we noticed a stationary kitchen cabinet next to the stove appears to have been moved, for the trim pieces around the cabinet and the cabinet itself was crooked! The trim pieces did not have the color throughout the piece, so when cut, it looks white and lousy. Days later we called Luna to advise them. "Installers" were supposed to come out three weeks later in the afternoon to take a look and do who knows what. We stated we needed an afternoon appointment, as we had several other commitments during that week and thought they should be willing to accomodate us. Of course, they called us the morning of that day at 9:22 A.M. (on the 30th) and said they would be arriving within 30 minutes, but probably less. I said appointment was to be in the afternoon and when they said they had to come now, I said no and cancelled. Now I will need to contact Luna AGAIN to complain about the frustrations we have encountered throught this process and try to reschedule. You'd think they would make some effort here. My husband and I are elderly (78 and 80 yrs.). Judging by the other comments similar to mine, I am shocked they are still in business. I filed a report with the BBB.

Like many others here, I had issues with Empire's installation and product. However, I think it's…read moreimportant to share that Empire eventually made things right for us. It took some time and patience, but after quite a bit of back and forth, we reached a satisfactory resolution, and our floors now look great. Stay calm and kind. Most of the people you speak with are not decision-makers; they relay your issues to those who are. If you treat them kindly, they will "fight" for you and prioritize you as a customer. If you're not satisfied, ask to speak with managers and have all your information and proper documentation ready. Again, I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to remain calm and kind. You can achieve a reasonable resolution. Don't give up and they will make things right.

I was incredibly unhappy with Empire. To begin with, they were the best price and they had a floor…read morethat matched others in a house I bought. The salesman did not notice that there was tile below the current floor or even think it might be an asbestos floor. I know he saw the floor because I watched him. When the installer showed up, he said he could not install because of the asbestos. I had it remediated and the installer came back. He put in the new floor but refused to move the furniture into the rooms or re-install the closet doors. He said they did not tell him he had to do this so he did not have a crew with him to do it. His supervisor promised another appointment in a few days to move everything back. I began calling Empire a day or so later to confirm the appointment and was told there was not one. Each call I made to them told me something different. Finally they told me that they would not move furniture into a room that they did not take it out of or re-install doors that they did not take down. My contract was clear that they move furniture in and out. There was one larger dresser that we could not get into the room and had to hire some moving guys to do that and of course, to pay for that. Empire has offered me a credit of $140 which is just a token to me. The salesman, the installer, the people on the phone, the supervisor, they all had a different story for the issues we were having. Hence, I would not recommend this company. And if you use them, not only get it in writing but record your phone calls (totally illegal) but I wish that I had.

He communicated through text and phone with us, answering all our questions and helped us through the process when we wanted to change the vinyl type before starting the work. After numerous attempts to fix the gaps I was lied to that it was water damage but the guy who came spoke zero English (this matters later) and didn't even touch the floors. My stairs were over hung by 2 inches with no support and they cracked. Arthur committed to replacing the bottom floor but played number games with the upstairs. Something felt really off so I did some research through connections I have and found there to be 25 complaints of gapping and bubbling with the company. When challenged I was told by Arthur his lawyer was being added to the email but there is one problem that email doesn't belong to any attorney at all for that matter. As much as I didn't want to take this route, there is clear illegal deception with the business, and they refused to make it right and provide what I paid for so I feel I now must be the person who unravels everything from the people who working there and their training, contract issues, and so much more. I warn you to do your research and I will let the rest unfold publicly and keep everyone updated
