Oh, you've been here before? Oreilly? If you say so…read more We used this O'Reilly Auto Parts and they did a really good job. They were very friendly and they had exactly what we needed. So we give them good ratings. And they're not too far from Chinatown and some of the places we eat, so very convenient. Definitely a very useful store, and they are friendly and they had the exact part that we needed. So we appreciate that and for that reason I will definitely come back to them in future - especially when I'm over this part of town. It's a chain, but a good one.

1 Star -- Defective Part, Customer Stuck Paying Labor Twice…read more I purchased a remanufactured MasterPro rack and pinion from O'Reilly Auto Parts for my 2010 Toyota Venza. After paying a mechanic to install it, we discovered the replacement rack had the same steering problem as the original. The mechanic inspected it on the lift and found excessive movement where the steering shaft connects to the rack. Now the entire rack has to be removed and replaced again, meaning I have to pay additional labor because of a defective replacement part. O'Reilly will replace the part under warranty, but refuses to cover any of the additional labor costs. My issue isn't that a part failed. Parts fail. My issue is that O'Reilly sells remanufactured components, yet when one is defective immediately after installation, the customer is left paying for the consequences. I've spent a substantial amount of money at O'Reilly purchasing parts for this repair. I expected better customer support, especially when dealing with a critical steering component. A replacement part doesn't make up for having to pay a mechanic twice to do the same job. Very disappointing experience.

This is your typical LKQ location. It is $3 to get in and check out the older model cars. The…read morenewer models are $3 more in admission charges. The good points for this yard: Online inventory is updated 6 days a week and you can sign up to get an email alert for the kind of car you are looking for. Inventory turnover is quick. I estimate a car sits in their yard 8-10 weeks instead of 6-12 months at smaller junkyards. They will get rare and hard to find cars from time to time so when new parts are unavailable they are a lifesaver. Major holidays have a 40-50% off all parts sale They installed a hand washing station (with soap) near the checkout area. The bad points for this yard: Prices are very high on many things. In many cases you are better off buying a new part (even OEM from the dealer) instead of paying 60-70% of the price on something used. Do your research and don't buy something if it is over 30% of the price new. The yard is a mess in many areas. Trash and parts are all over the ground and many of the cars have just been vandalized and destroyed for no reason than to be destructive. Super long lines and a 20-40 minute wait time to get to the cashier during peak hours on the weekend. They never have more than 2 cashiers working. Insane core charges. They count on your not returning the core to get your money back. If you can, remove the old part and take it with you the day you buy the replacement. Do not ever let them keep core charges. They put 20+ year old trucks in the newer model section to charge more for the parts. This was a recent change. A good example are 10th generation Ford F150 trucks made from 1997 to 2004. These used to be in the old model section but now they are all in the new model section. Overall, it is worth buying things here if you know the market price for your parts and are very selective.

I am really disappointed with how downhill this place has gone. This used to be my go-to spot for…read moreaffordable parts, but never again. First, you have to pay a $5 fee just to walk in and hope they have what you need. Then, after removing the part yourself, you have to deal with staff who don't know basic car parts. They tried to charge me $60 for door molding because they couldn't tell the difference between a rocker panel and molding. They also try to sell a warranty that isn't cheap, instead of just included for free. When I asked for a supervisor to sort it out, the woman at the counter said she was the supervisor, but then refused to give me her name so I could leave a complaint. It's sad to see a good place turn into such a rip-off. Luckily I found the exact part on eBay for $20 with free shipping and returns. Never again
