The ONLY reason I even still use this pharmacy is…read morebecause they usually have a specific medication I need, that other pharmacies in the area are ALWAYS consistently out of for some bizarre reason. They will text me that my order will be ready by a certain day and time, and EVERY SINGLE TIME it is never ready when I arrive even hours after was promised to have been filled. Some of the staff are not professional and are argumentative. I have to tell them every month, DO NOT CALL OR TEXT ME REFILL REMINDERS! I ONLY want notifications WHEN MEDICATION IS READY FOR PICKUP! They will remove me from their little cold call list, but then the next month I am put right back on their calling list! I have advised them numerous times, I am on a doctor approved alternate schedule than how my script is written, and today one of the reps tried to tell me that they "have to follow-up PER MY INSURANCE for compliance reasons" This is a bold face lie! I have spoken to both my insurance company AND doctor, and Walgreens is NOT in charge of my dosing schedule, that is between my doctor and I alone, my doctor has the right to prescribe off label and/or change my dosage at anytime, and my insurance does not get involved nor should Walgreens be involved in the matter. The kicker is, this particular medication the Walgreens rep lied to me about and said she had to call me for "insurance compliance reasons", isn't even a medication that has EVER been covered by my insurance! LOL. I have to pay out of pocket for this one, my insurance has ZERO to do with it, and I also haven't taken this medication in months, because I switched over to a similar product instead. So just a straight up LIE from this Walgreens Pharmacy "tech" . They should not be making unverified, nor especially UNTRUE statements to customers.. Unless you absolutely must, save yourself the frustration and avoid this place at ALL costs!
