He was professional, personable, and very knowledgeable about the roofing shingles he installs (Owens Corning) and very detailed on his installation procedures and how he backs his workmanship and his future availability to respond to any questions or problems. Problem is, once he completed our roof installation, he collected his check and despite my numerous attempts to contact him via telephone and email, he has completely ghosted us. The reason I needed to follow up with him is there are three elements of our contract he has yet to complete. My fault, I know better but I paid him before all the work was completed. Part of the contract was his obligation to file our warranty with Owens Corning. I called Owens Corning and they have no record of Jason filing the paperwork. I believe his roofing crew did a good job on my roof installation, but I'm very disappointed that he walked away without completing all elements of our contract and now refuses to return my calls or respond to my emails. I will also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

He got an extra star because he is a great guy! Alberto agreed to fix the finish on our dining table. Needless to say he made it worse and left it in a big mess! He did not sand before staining and left a sticky gluey mess. He was unable to remove the sticky mess. The table would have been ruined had someone else who knew what to do not come along and sanded and redid the finish as it was supposed to be. This was a very expensive table that needed minor work...that became a major problem. Great guy, but won't use again. This was not his best project for sure!

This was no problem for Alberto - he efficiently repaired doorway and successfully installed slab. The previous owner of our home took the lazy way out and had the cable hanging out of the ceiling, stapled to the wall in my closet, and ran it through the wall again near the floor so it came out though the other side of the wall where you can plug in your TV. I reached a point with the new contractor where I was ready to stop work with a vote of no confidence because my contractor did not follow the tub installation instructions, which could be a huge deal that leads to costly repairs in the future. I reached back out to Bob to see if he had the bandwidth to take on the re-do work that I had convinced myself was required. Bob was able to zoom me *that day* to address my concerns and let me know that while the existing work isn't super awesome, it also isn't terrible and doesn't necessarily need to be re-done. This call was of no financial benefit to Hunter Contracting but IMO speaks VOLUMES to their integrity. I would hire them in a second to do work on my home.
