In order to stop the foreclousure we had to get the entire townhouses outlets, switches and lightfixtures rewired from aluminum to copper. My uncle was batteling early stages of dimentia and didnt know where to turn. Some of the original bids he had were absoluely highway robberey. That was when I stepped in and found Tim with Watts Up Electric. Tim was sympathetic of the aweful situation we were in. He worked dilligently to get us in compliance with the HOA . His prices were fair as he is an honest contractor. I am forever grateful that we found his company because had we not the HOA would have surely taken my Uncles home leaving him on the street. I cant say enough good things about this company. Do your homework, get estimates from a few different places . Because there is a few companies out there that will quadruple charge that is 4 times the going rate. They get away with it because we as consumers dont know any better. I can assure you that Watts Up Electric works with integrity. Their pricing is more than fair. Tim seriously saved the day. What an awesome electrician. I will never use another electrician as long as i live. I will forever use this company.

I'll start with the good before I get to the bad. I moved into my new home about 6+ months ago and…read morewas referred to this electrician by a "Team Dave Logan" booklet that was sent to my house in the mail. Within the booklet, there was a coupon for $50 off any electrical service and "Free Estimates!" Seemed like a good start, so I called Williams & Sons. Tim Williams (owner) is very friendly and generally is a good communicator. He was punctual during the initial assessment and his team was on time the following day to commence work. Tim's assessment determined that replacing two circuit breakers should do the trick. Tim assures me that these circuit breakers are $85/each and that it should be a quick and inexpensive job. Here is where things go wrong... 1. I call Tim after the two circuit breakers have been replaced, noting that there was no statement of work provided to me and I never received any type of $ estimate prior to work commencing. I shared my concern with Tim that I did not want to receive any kind of surprise invoice. He assured me it "wouldn't be that bad" and he was surprised that there was never an estimate provided to me. 2. Within the hour of my concerned phone call, he sends me an invoice for $650 for a job that could have taken his 2-person team about ~30 mins. Within this invoice, Tim tries to charge me $140 for his initial assessment (lasted 10 mins) and another $340 for labor which was never discussed or agreed-upon. 3. Thankfully, Tim was understanding in coming to a more reasonable price, and reduced the bill down to $350 after providing him the "free estimate" / $50 off coupon. 4. Fast forward 1 month. The problem persists and the replacement of the circuit breakers did not remedy the issue at all. I texted Tim to ask him if he could come by to re-assess the situation since the invoice clearly states that their work is covered by a "1 Year Guarantee." Tim ignores my first text. The next day I text him again to which his response is "Sorry, I don't have anyone who can help you. My team is spread too thin." Uh, what? So much for the guarantee? To me, this job felt like a quick grab and dash. $350 down the drain. Avoid.

My friend recommended a guy, but he was slow to respond and very unprofessional. I always prefer to deal with local small businesses, so I researched and found Altitude. From the very beginning, they were totally and completely professional. The guy who came out to do the estimate was prompt, efficient, friendly and professional and comprehensive. They offered and provided things I did not even know I needed but I did. They even revised their bid to meet the one offered by the individual that had given me an estimate. The work was done on time, quickly and conveniently. I hardly knew they were there, and they completely finished the job, cleaned up, walked me through everything, and answered any and all questions. Karsten was the electrician and was friendly, efficient, communicative and again, professional. Jody, the office contact, is incredibly efficient, cooperative, friendly and kind. If you live anywhere within their service area you simply will not find anyone better. If you are outside of their service areas, you have my sympathy!!!

In early September 2024, I decided to be better prepared for any future power outage and losing all…read morepower at my house. This led me to have a subpanel built from my main electrical system to run my large portable generator, a Generac 8500. My first step was to seek four bids/quotes from reputable electrical companies in Denver Metro. In the process, I had the opportunity to speak to each of the four companies. The company that stood above the rest to me from the start was Altitude Electric. In my very first conversation with Jody at Altitude Electric, I learned so much about this process. Jody was very nice, knowledgeable, and provided me with the information I needed to make a good decision. Although my conversations and/or meetings with each of the other companies were fine. Jody at Altitude Electric had made a strong impression on me. After receiving all four bids, I was then pleasantly surprised to find Altitude Electric to be one of more competitive bids from a total cost standpoint. I scheduled for Altitude Electric to do the work. Prior to the day of installation, I received both emails and text messages of my upcoming appointment. Karsten and Dan with Altitude Electric came and worked on my subpanel from 11 am to 4 pm non-stop. Karsten is a perfectionist at his trade, and he and Dan paid attention to every detail to complete their job. I was so impressed with how they checked and double-checked to make sure everything was done right. After the installation of the subpanel was completed, Karsten took the time to explain to me how the circuits were transferred from my main panel to the subpanel. Karsten took time to label the circuits in my subpanel, and Dan moved my new generator to where it could be operated. Once this was completed, Jody called me to schedule Bear and James to come back out and run the power outage simulation with me. Initially, I had a minor issue with starting my brand new generator, but thankfully, Bear is a Generac expert technician. Bear and James got my generator running as it should and again walked me through the process of what to do when power goes out. The service teams at Altitude Electric took the time to help me understand how to best maintain and operate my newly installed system and gave me the confidence that my system will work when I need it. I believe they cared about me as a customer, and I trust them. I am so grateful to the high level of professionalism and expertise by their quality workmanship and attention to detail. The best part is I know that they will stand behind their work and are available if I need them in the future. This home project was an expensive investment considering the cost of the generator installing an electrical subpanel, but for the value in service that I received from Altitude Electric, I could not be happier. The safety, security, and convenience for my family is priceless. Thank you, Jody, and the team at Altitude Electric! You're the best! If you are a homeowner and you are thinking of doing the same, I've done the research for you. Choose Altitude Electric and thank me later.
