I asked them to look at all the new electrical work and within minutes they identified several significant issues (not the first problem I had with the contractor I hired to do the reno) and on my request provided a quote to correct the issues. Ben and Jeff came out the next week and spent 4 hours correcting the problems (upgrading breakers, code compliance, adding GFI protection, and adding boxes) in my new kitchen. They had to add a box to the exterior wall of my kitchen (since it was already finished) so they also installed a very nice exterior outlet. They were punctual, friendly, courteous and cleaned up after the job, but most importantly competent, skilled and efficient. SJO Electric not only repaired the faulty work of another firm but gave me peace of mind that the work was done correctly. I now feel safe in my home again! After moving into my recently purchased house, I needed to have the furnace and a/c cleaned. The…read morefurnace and a/c are only four years old, but the previous owners apparently rarely cleaned, were smokers, and had animals. I asked a journeyman electrician friend for a recommendation knowing that he often wires furnaces and a/c systems, and he immediately recommended Erives Heating and Air. I called and was able to easily get an appointment within six days. The technician, Coco, arrived as scheduled and was very friendly. He explained what he was going to do, asked if I had any preliminary questions, and then went straight to work. When he finished, he showed me how to operate all the different components since I am new to the house and the system has some accessories. He explained in detail what he did during the cleaning, including cleaning and checking the electrostatic air cleaner and UV light. He removed the electrostatic air cleaner inserts and showed me how to clean them and told me how often. Due to a snow storm and low temperatures, Coco was unable to service the a/c system, but we scheduled a future date to return to do that. Update: Coco came back out and cleaned and checked the a/c system with the same professionalism as with the furnace. He even went as far as to verify the correct part number for a replacement accessory with his supplier to ensure I was purchasing the correct part. He didn't have to do that, but he went out of his way, which shows his character well. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the service and professionalism of Coco from Erives. I plan on using Erives and requesting CoCo for any HVAC needs I have in the future or if I need a contractor recommendation if they don't perform a specific service.

Had them out to look at our…read morefurnace and was told it wasn't to code and the flue pipes needed to be reconfigured, all for the low price of around $800, and that was after the $100 service feel I had to pay just to get them there. I got a second opinion on the furnace from a company who certified that the unit was totally up to code and the flue pipes were positioned just fine. GE might be great at work that IS needed, but you should get a second opinion.

They couldn't have made a better recommendation. Zach is responsive and clear in communicating by email, which makes everything much easier. He came by and helped us think through different options for both ceiling lighting and under-cabinet lighting, and when we asked him to recommend specific products for the job, he was happy to do so. He made everything incredibly easy. The actual work turned out great. ZAE showed up when they were supposed to, did high quality work, and left the site as clean as how they found it. The lighting improvements ended up being our favorite part of the kitchen upgrade overall. Importantly, the quoted price was quite reasonable, there was no haggling needed, and there were no surprises at the end. Additionally, while working on the job, Zach gave me some pointers on things I could do myself around the house - which I found especially helpful, not being particularly handy myself. More recently, I had a couple minor issues related to some lighting work I did elsewhere in the house. Stumped, I emailed Zach looking for suggestions. Again, he was responsive by email, and he offered to stop by the house one afternoon to take a look and provide further helpful suggestions.
